Conventionally, a smoke and dust collection device for a converter building generally has a structure as shown in FIG. That is, the converter building consists of a converter building 2 in which a plurality of converters 1 are installed and a raw material charging building 4 in which a plurality of hot metal charging pots 3 are installed. When charging the
The plume containing a large amount of dust blown out from the converter 1 is captured by the furnace front ventilation hood 5, discharged via the furnace front ventilation main duct 6, and sent to a dust collector (not shown) such as a bag filter. The plume that cannot be captured by the front ventilation hood 5 is discharged to the outside of the building by raising a ventilation flue 7 provided at the upper part of the material charging building 4. 8 is converter exhaust gas treatment equipment, 1
0 is a partition wall, 11 is a monitor, and 12 is a furnace ventilation damper.

In addition, we have installed a dust collector on top of the converter building (indicated by the broken line in Figure 3) to cover all the ventilation in the building, and a monitor installed on top of the converter building. A so-called building dust collector, which is a device that is equipped with a monitor hood having a damper to process all of the ventilation inside a building, is known.

However, the apparatus shown in FIG. 3 above has problems in that it requires a large-capacity dust collector and is low in efficiency since it targets the entire amount of ventilation within the converter building. In addition, the above-mentioned device in which the dust collector 17 is installed on top of the converter building has the problem of the device shown in Figure 3, and since the dust collector is mounted on the building, the building It has the problem of becoming larger. In addition, the above-mentioned device that installs a monitor hood on the top of the converter building closes the monitor and collects the exhaust smoke, so it requires a capacity comparable to the amount of natural ventilation, and the monitor is used as a hood. ,
The problem is that it needs to be kept running all the time.

This invention was made to solve the above problems, and has a flue damper installed in the ventilation flue installed in the upper part of the converter building, and a smoke exhaust damper located slightly below the flue damper. By connecting the smoke exhaust duct through a short duct, the smoke rising inside the building is captured by operating both dampers, and most of it is exhausted, allowing the smoke to flow out of the building at low cost. The object of the present invention is to provide a dust collection device for a converter building that can prevent the above.

The dust collection device for a converter building according to the present invention will be described with reference to FIGS. 1 and 2, and will be described with reference to FIGS. In the converter building consisting of the installed raw material charging building 4, when hot metal is charged into the converter 1, the plume blown out from the converter is captured by the furnace front ventilation hood 5 and passed through the furnace front ventilation main duct 6. The ventilation flue 7 provided at the upper part of the raw material charging building is raised to discharge the plume that could not be captured by the ventilation hood 5 to the outside of the building. A flue damper 13 is provided in the flue 7, and a smoke exhaust duct 16 is connected slightly below the flue damper 13 via a short duct 15 having a smoke exhaust damper 14.

Smoke is removed by operating only the damper in the smoke generating area, and natural ventilation is provided in other areas. That is, when charging hot metal, the damper 13 is closed and the damper 14 is opened to collect exhaust smoke. Further, during blowing, natural ventilation is performed by opening the damper 13 to half-open and closing the damper 14 to half-open.

In the apparatus of the present invention configured as described above, the dampers 12 and 14 are opened and the flue damper 13 is closed at the start of molten metal charging. The smoke blown out from the converter 1 is collected by the hood 5, and the smoke that is not captured and rises up the ventilation flue 7 is removed from the roof and flue of the material charging building 4 because the damper 13 is closed. It acts like a large hood and collects smoke. At this time, the damper 14 is opened and the smoke is exhausted via the smoke exhaust duct 16. Smoke from the furnace mouth is prevented from flowing into the converter building 2 by the partition wall 10.

During blowing, the exhaust gas coming out of the converter 1 is treated by the exhaust gas treatment equipment 8. The gas at this time is CO
It contains approximately 70 to 80% of smoke, which is completely different in amount and composition from the smoke during charging of hot metal. However, depending on the blowing conditions, gas often blows out from the gap between the converter 1 and the gas processing equipment 8, so the damper 1
2 is left half open, and the blown smoke is captured by the hood 5 and discharged through the furnace front ventilation main duct 6. However, when the amount of blowout is large, the damper 14 is opened to capture and exhaust the smoke that could not be captured by the hood 5. Note that gas is usually blown out when
This phenomenon occurs during the middle and later stages of blowing, and is mainly observed when iron ore is charged into the converter 1, so it is predictable and can be adequately handled by opening and closing the damper 14.

By considering exhausting smoke from the monitor, the overall capacity can be reduced. According to experiments conducted by the present inventor, by providing and adjusting a flue damper and a smoke exhaust damper, the processing air volume was increased by about 10 to 25% compared to the case where both dampers were not provided.
