Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the conveying ability, by arranging a bottle stopper on a bottle conveyor to be diagonal to the advancing direction, gripping bottles, which have been aligned in a staggered piling up state, by a grip block utilizing the frictional resistance which works between the weight of bottles and the conveyor chain, transferring to the packing pattern and realigning the bottles. CONSTITUTION:Bottles 35 which have been carried by a bottle conveyor 10, guided by a bottle guide 39, push boards 43, 44 and a bottle guide 40, hit a bottle aligning stopper 42 and stop. The bottle aligning stopper 42 has been tilted to the advancing direction of the conveyor 10 by an angle, theta=60 deg., which is the angle for bottles to be naturally aligned. Then, the bottle aligning stopper 42 is transferred in the flow direction, i.e., to the downstream side, and the bottles 35 are set free. Then, the bottles 35, which have been lifted by a gripper 48, are changed from the staggered piling up alignment to a checkboard alignment by turning the alignment of the gripper 48 by 30 deg. from the staggered piling up pattern alignment, by a turning device in a grip block 49. After transferring to a box conveyor 7 side, the gripper 48 descends to supply bottles in a box 20.
