〔技術分野〕
本発明は光ビームにより記録、再生及び/または消去が
可能な光学的情報記録媒体の基板を作るために必要な精
密成形複製金型(以下、スタンパと称す)及びその製造

本発明の目的は、上記従来技術の問題点を解決し、汚れ

録媒体用の基板が成形出来るスタンバ及びその製造方法

本発明の上記目的は、光学的情報記録媒体の情報記録領

して記録したプレートが埋め込まれたスタンバによって
達成される。また、このようなスタンバは、凹凸状のパ
ターンが形成された原盤のパターンが形成された領域外
に、識別情報を凹凸状のパターンとして記録したプレー
トを配置する過程及び電鋳によって原盤上に金属を堆積
させ、このプレートを鋳込んだ金型を形成する過程によ

1上にフォトレジストを塗布し、露光、現像して情報記
録用の凹凸状のパターンを形成した層2を形成した。こ

ームの厚さで真空成膜により形成した。この記録原盤上
に、第1図(b)で示すように、予じめエツチングによ
り識別情報を記録した50〜100ミクロンの厚さのニ
ッケル製のプレート4をセットした。ここでは、ニッケ
ル製のプレートを使用したが他に銅、アルミ等の金属プ
レートも使用できる。次に、第1図(C)に示すように
、ニッケル電鋳によりニッケル層5を0.2〜1ミリメ
ートル程度の厚さに積層し、最後に第1図(d)に示す
ように記録原盤より剥離して、製造番号等の識別情報を

簡略化が計れ、また工程管理が容易となる、
3)記入された記号が鮮明で読み取り易い、等の効果が
