Description
〔産業上の利用分野〕
この考案は揮散性防虫剤を含浸させた防虫剤に
関する。
〔従来の技術〕
従来害虫、特に衣料用害虫の防虫剤(殺虫剤、
忌避剤を含む、以下単に防虫剤という。)として
は固形状のパラジクロルベンゼン、ナフタリン、
樟脳などの昇華性防虫剤と、液状のピレスロイド
系化合物、例えば、(RS)−1−エチニル−2−
メチル−2−ペンテニル(1R)−シス、トランス
−クリサンテマートなどの揮散性防虫剤が知られ
ている。一般に後者の液状揮散性防虫剤は、前者
の固形状昇華性防虫剤に比べてその殺虫力は高
く、僅かな量でも防虫効果を示す。
〔考案が解決しようとする問題点〕
しかし、その蒸気圧は固形状昇華性防虫剤に比
べて低く、揮散量が少ないため、初期段階での防
虫効果が低い欠点がある。すなわち、上記液状揮
散性防虫剤を、例えば紙や布、不織布などのシー
ト状含浸体に含浸させて、これを洋ダンスや和ダ
ンス、衣裳ケース、引き出しなどに設置して使用
する場合、初期に十分な防虫効果を得るために
は、シート状含浸体の面積を大きくして揮散量の
増加を図る必要がある。しかしシート状含浸体の
揮散面積を大きくすると、防虫効力が長期間持続
しなくなるし、商品自体が大型となつて原料面や
製造面、また輸送面などでコストが嵩むと共に、
洋ダンスなどに設置して使用する場合も、大きな
設置面積を必要とするなどの不具合が生じる。
この考案は上記不具合を改善する目的でなされ
たものである。
〔実施例〕
以下この考案の実施例を図面を参照して詳述す
ると、第1図は面積に対して5〜20%の範囲で直
径1〜20mmの小孔2を穿設した平板状のシート状
物を、5〜50mmの折り幅でひだ折りした基体に揮
散性の高い防虫剤成分を含浸させた防虫剤含浸体
1を示すもので、この防虫剤を含浸させた防虫剤
含浸体1の性能を試験例にもとづいて説明する。
試験例
180g/m2のリンター紙(10cm×30cm)を使用
して、折り幅5,10,50mmで山折り部と谷折り部
が交互に連続するようにひだ折りし、その伸縮自
在方向に折り曲げる前の長さに対して30%圧縮し
たものを作成し、第5図に示すように洋ダンスa
(約900)内に吊り下げ、1,3,5及び6ケ月
経過毎にそれぞれ3枚ずつ分折し、含浸体中の平
均薬剤残存率を求めた。
