Abstract

PURPOSE:To facilitate removal of a seat belt by incorporating inside the door a seat belt removing switch operated interlocked with a door opening handle, actuating a magnet device by this switch, and thereby performing removal of the seat belt. CONSTITUTION:A seat belt removing switch A to be incorporated inside the door of a car includes a fixed contact plate 2 and a movable contact 1 fixed to a switch mounting table. Contacts 4, 5 are normally open with an opening/ closing plate 3 being fitted between this movable contact 1 and fixed contact plate 2. The contacts 4, 5 are closed by pulling an opening handle 10 inside the door and drawing out the opening/closing plate 3 by a trigger 8 coupled with a rod 11, and thus a magnet device B is actuated. This magnet device B pulls a push button E of a catch holder D through a wire C, and thus a seat belt F is removed.
