Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 （産業上の利用分野） 本発明は爽快な覚醒感を得ることのできるレム睡眠時を
感知して適切な覚醒時を知らせるための器具である。
（発明が解決しようとする問題点） 人にとつて、起床時に十分な睡眠をとったという爽快感
は好ましいものであるが、十分な睡眠をとったか否かの
自覚は必ずしも睡眠時間数に比例しない。その理由の一
つに、レム睡眠時に覚醒したか否かということがあり、
レム睡眠時に覚醒すれば十分な睡眠をとったという爽快
感があることが医学的に指摘されている。
そこで、睡眠中周期的に繰り返されるノンレム睡眠・レ
ム睡眠のうちのレム睡眠時に覚醒すれば爽快な目覚めを
得られるわけであるが、レム睡眠時にはその語の示す通
りの眼球運動のほかにも他の身体器官の変化ないしは運
動あるいは脳波によってその所見が感知される。
したがって、眼帯・ベルト・帽子等によって直接身体に
とりつけあるいは着衣または寝具ないしは寝室内にとり
つけたセンサーによって上述のレム睡眠を感知し、これ
によって音・音声・振動・光・臭い等またはこれらを組
み合わせた人を覚醒させる器具を始動させれば快適な覚
醒を期待できることとなる。
（発明の効果） 特に、目覚し時計と本発明センサーとを組み合わせ、目
覚し時計の起床指定時間直前のレム睡眠中に起床信号を
発することにしておけば、睡眠についての爽快−が得ら
れる目覚し時計となる。
