Abstract

PURPOSE:To get a sound absorbing material for a conditioner which is superior in the effect of absorbing sound and in sealing characteristic by a method wherein a specified portion is covered by a sound-absorbing material having three layers formed in a cubic form. CONSTITUTION:A sound-absorbing member composed of three layers of a sound- absorbing member 1/a sound-shielding member 2/a sound-absorbing member 1' is integrally formed and worked in a cubic form to get a cylindrical body having an opening end. It may cover either one or both of a compressor 3 and an accumulator 4 within an outdoor air conditioner unit. As the sound- absorbing member, a bulky non-woven fabric composed of more than one fiber of plant, animal, ore and synthetic resin and synthetic resin binder and a fire- proof agent and the like and a synthetic resin foam such as a felt, urethane and vinyl chloride can be used. The sound-absorbing member 1 and the sound- absorbing member 1' are not necessarily the same. As the sound-shielding member, one or more binder components such as asphalt, rubber and synthetic resin and the like and a filler component are mixed to each other and kneaded so as to get a rolled sheet material.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to soundproofing measures for outdoor air conditioners, and more particularly, to soundproofing measures for outdoor air conditioners, in which specific parts are covered with three-dimensionally molded three-layer soundproofing material. Conventionally, soundproofing measures for outdoor air conditioners have been achieved by pasting individual sound absorbing materials or sound insulating materials without three-dimensional molding onto desired areas such as the internal side walls of outdoor air conditioners, filling voids, etc. The unmolded sound absorbing material was integrated with the sound insulating material, the ends were rolled up and the ends were sewn together, and the unmolded sound absorbing material was placed in a cylindrical shape over a compressor or accumulator. ′
However, in this type of soundproofing measure, the total number of parts of the shielding material is 5.6, and the installation work is very complicated. In particular, the sealing performance is poor, noise leaks, and the soundproofing effect is poor. Furthermore, it has the disadvantage of being expensive.

Therefore, the inventors of the present invention obtained a soundproofing effect equivalent to or higher than that of the conventional 5.6-point soundproofing material by replacing it with one or two three-dimensionally molded soundproofing materials, and furthermore, the workability of installation was also reduced. As a result of extensive research, we have developed sound-absorbing materials, from simple sound-absorbing materials rolled up and sewn together without conventional three-dimensional molding.
Integrated molding of soundproofing material consisting of 3 layers of soundproofing material/sound absorbing material,
A soundproofing effect superior to the conventional 5.6-part soundproofing material can be obtained by using a three-dimensionally processed cylindrical material that covers one or both of the compressor and accumulator in an outdoor air conditioner unit. This discovery led to the present invention.

Examples of the integration method include a method in which a sound absorbing material and a sound insulating material are placed in a mold and then compression molded, and a method in which a sound insulating material is placed in an injection mold and then a foam material component is injected and foamed.

The soundproofing material three-dimensionally formed by this method is rolled into a cylindrical shape and the overlapping parts are bonded to form a cylindrical shape with one opening open. If the sound absorbing material in the overlapped portion is removed and the sound insulating materials are integrated with each other, a three-dimensional molded sound insulating material with better sealing performance can be obtained.

Considering the internal structure of the compressor air conditioner outdoor unit that has a support member, the cylindrical three-dimensional molded soundproofing material
It is preferable to design the opening portion to have a large diameter so as to cover the support member, or to make the opening portion contact the compressor or accumulator. Furthermore, by designing the sound absorbing material to be longer than the sound insulating material at the end of the opening, it is preferable that the sound absorbing material acts as a buffer between the bottom surface of the outdoor air conditioner and isolates vibrations.
