Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce generation of wear powder and to maintain a stable contacting status for a long period of time by applying a contact grease containing carbon sulfide onto a fixed contact. CONSTITUTION:A movable contact 7 slides on a fixed contact 8 where an orefin contact grease 9 containing approximately 2% carbon sulfide with its grain diameter being 1-10mum. A fixed contact 8a consisting of carbon and a fixed contact 8b consisting of silver always electrically conduct through the movable contact 7. The both terminals of the fixed contact 8a are electrically connected to 10a and 10b and the one terminal of the fixed contact 8b is electrically connected to 10c. Thus, contact grease containing carbon sulfide which is superb in lubrication properties is applied to the fixed contact 8 so that carbon sulfide acts as a lubricant, thus reducing friction at electrically sliding contact part. It allows amount of wear powder generated by sliding life to be reduced, insulation deterioration to be controlled, and oxidation at contact part to be prevented.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention In the above configuration, the movable contact 1.4 and the fixed contacts 2a, 2b, 5a, 5b slide directly without the intervention of grease, so the frictional force is large. As a result, the amount of wear on both of them increased, and after the life test, the movable contacts 1 and 4 were exposed to the wear powder.
There were cases in which problems occurred in which the conduction condition deteriorated due to the electric current being lifted up.

Effect: According to the above method, contact grease containing fluorocarbon, which has excellent lubricity, is applied to the fixed contacts, so the fluorocarbon acts as a lubricant and reduces friction on the electrical sliding contact. This reduces the amount of wear debris generated. Furthermore, since fluorocarbon has a large specific volume resistivity, it can avoid dielectric breakdown even if the amount of abrasion powder of the brush and carbon increases to a certain extent.

Effects of the Invention As described above, in the present invention, since the contact grease containing fluorocarbon is applied to the fixed contacts, the frictional force between the contacts is reduced, and the generation of wear particles is reduced. Furthermore, the generated wear powder is wrapped in grease and exists in an extremely fluid state, so the movable contact does not get caught up in the wear powder, making it possible to maintain a stable contact state for a long period of time. Become. Furthermore, by including fluorinated carbon having a high volume resistivity in the grease, there is also the effect of suppressing significant insulation deterioration of the grease due to abrasion particles.
