制手段1Gを付設しである。開度規制手段16として、
本実施例では前記布13に予め縫製した布製のストラッ
プを用いている。このストラップ16はエアバッグカバ
ー9上壁の、前記両側部の5破断部14,14で画成さ
れた範囲で、後側部の5破断部14の近傍に沿って車幅
方向にインサートしてあり、両端部は両側部の5破断部
14.14近傍よりエアバッグカバ−9裏面側に引き出
し、各端末をベースプレート6の周縁フランジ6aにリ
テーナプレート17を介してボルト・ナツト18固定し
