このため本発明者等は既に、第5図に示すように天然大
理石をスライスして厚み1〜5mmの大理石板1をフレ
ーム2aと無機質板2()とからなる補強材2に接着剤
層4を介して貼着させた建築用パネルを提供している。
この大理石板の表面は光沢、平滑性を出すために研摩さ

れ易さ及び汚れの取れにくさ等の天然大理石の欠点も改

大理石板1は天然大理石がスライスされたものである。
この大理石板1の厚みは1〜5mmか好ましい。大理石
板1の厚みが1mm未満の場合は欠け、割れ等の加工あ
るいは搬送時に発生し易く、逆に5+nmを超えると全
体の重量が大きくなってしまい、又コストも高くなって
しまうものである。
大理石板1の表面にはハードコート層5が設けられて建
築材Aが構成されている。ハードコート層5としては天
然大理石と同等の5〜7H硬度が必要であり、アクリル
樹脂系、ポリエステル樹脂系の紫外線硬化型、電子線硬
化型又はポリエステル樹脂系のパーオキサイド架橋型の
クリヤー塗料が使用される。このハードコート層5によ
り表面の光沢、平滑性が得られるだけでなく、天然大理
石の欠点である、酸等の耐薬品性、吸水による耐凍害性
の低下、表面の汚れ易さ及び汚れの取れにくさを改善す
ることができる。このハードコート層5の形成は、スプ
レー塗装、ロールコータ−塗装、70−コーター塗装等
いずれをも採用できるが、これら塗装方法では所望とす
る光沢、平滑性が得られにくく、又端部の盛り上がり、
気泡混入、異物の混入などの発生が見られた。このため
、塗装方法について種々検討した結果、ポリエステル合
板等に採用されている「フィルム法」による塗装が所望
の光沢、平滑性が得られ、気泡混入、異物の混入が防止
され、最も好ましい方法である。
この「フィルム法」による塗装とは、第2図に示すよう
に大理石板1の表面にハードコート層5用の塗料7を所
定量セットしく同図(a))、その上に例えばPVAフ
ィルム8を貼ったフィルム枠9をセットしく同図(+1
))、この状態でフィルム枠9の上から塗布ローラー1
0を往復動させて塗料7を大理石板1に均等に塗布する
(同図(C))。この後は塗料7を硬化させ、次いでフ
ィルム枠9を取り除き、パリを除去してハードコートN

この建築材Aは、その裏面に、@3図に示すようにフレ

着剤層4を介して貼着されて建築用パネルが構成される

用パネルにあっては、大理石板1が薄板であるので、重
量も小さく、取r)扱いが容易になり、又コストを抑え
ることができる。この建築用パネルは、浴室ユニット等
の内装用パネルとし天川に供される。
第4図に示す実施例にあっては、大理石板1が薄板であ
ることによる透けを防止して深み感を出すと共に無機質
板2aとの接着性を向上させるために、大理石板1の裏
面にウレタン樹脂系塗料、アクリル樹脂系塗料等が塗布
