を比較判定する判定制御装置を接続し、タイヤの外径測
定方法としては、ユニフォミティーマシンに装着した測
定タイヤをインフレートさせた状態で、測定タイヤの外
径部にポテンショメータを接触させ、この状態で測定タ
イヤを回転させながら測定タイヤの外径の数箇所を測定
し、この測定値を平均化して判定制御装置に出力し、予
め設定したタイヤ外径の値と比較演算することにより、
不良タイヤであるか否かを判定することにより、不良タ
イヤであるか否かを判定する異種のタイヤがランダムに
搬送されて来る場合でもタイヤ外径を容易に測定して判
定することができ、また精度の高い測定も行うことが出
来るようにしたことを要旨とするものである。

定制御装置に出力して、予め設定したタイヤ外径の値と
比較演算することにより、不良タイヤであるか否かを判
定するようにしたので、タイヤの種類が異なるものであ
っても段取り替えを行うことなく測定タイヤの外径を容
易に精度良く測定ができ、しかも自動的に行うことが判
定を行うことが出来るので作業能率を著しく向上させる
ことが出来、更にカーカスの貼忘れ等のタイヤの誤出荷
を有効に防止出来る効果がある。
