However, these sheets of paper loaded and stored in large quantities are stored in a predetermined position on the paper tray, and if they are sent to the main processing device while being skewed, mistakes may occur.
This may lead to defective processing such as misprints or accidents such as jamming.

However, in paper feeders equipped with such conventional regulation guides, it is necessary to raise and lower the guide pieces before replenishing paper, and paper must be inserted between the left and right guide pieces that match the paper size. Doing so may damage the corners of the paper.
In particular, the regulation guide that regulates the trailing edge of the paper obstructs paper storage and makes it difficult to quickly replenish paper.

On the other hand, there is a method in which a recess is provided in the paper mounting table, a guide piece is inserted into the recess, and the guide piece protrudes upward after the paper is placed on the paper mounting table. Sometimes, the paper can be placed smoothly without getting in the way, but on the other hand, if you forget to operate the guide piece to protrude and raise the paper loading table, the stacked paper may slide and fall, or the edge of the paper may fall while feeding. There were problems such as uneven edges and misprints.

The present invention was devised in view of the problems in the prior art, and provides a regulation guide that allows the paper to be erected after it is placed on the paper tray, and in which the guide piece does not forget to erect. The object of the present invention is to provide a paper feeding device having the following features.

In order to achieve such an objective, the present invention has a paper feeding device in which sheets are stacked and stored on a paper loading table in the device frame, and the paper feeding device sequentially feeds out sheets while raising the paper loading tray. is rotatably supported on the paper loading table or the device frame, and is provided with a regulation guide piece that determines the position of the paper that can be raised and lowered along the edge surface of the paper on the paper loading table, A detecting means for detecting the undulating state of the guide piece is provided, and while the detecting means is detecting the undulating state of the regulating guide piece, the paper mounting table is prohibited from rising.

When loading paper onto the paper stacking table, the regulation guide piece is in a reclined state, so it does not interfere with paper insertion, and if you forget to raise the regulation guide piece, you will not be able to start the paper. Even if the guide piece has a detection means, and when detecting the collapsed state,
Since the paper is not regulated by the signal from the detection means, the paper mounting table does not rise, and the paper does not collapse.

In this paper feeding device, the regulation guide piece that regulates the edge surface of the paper on the paper stack is hidden in the slit of the paper stack, and it is equipped with a detection means for detecting the undulating state of the regulation guide piece. When storing paper, there is no need to stand up the regulation guide piece, and if you forget to raise the regulation guide piece after placing the paper, the paper loading table will not rise and the regulation guide will be raised and stacked. Since the paper loading table is raised only after the paper is regulated, it is possible to prevent paper stacking from being disrupted, paper feeding errors, jams, and other accidents.
