Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a harmless safe deodorant widely utilizable in various fields of a sanitary article, a tray, raw garbage, a car, a refrigerator, a kitchen, a boot cupboard, a barn or the like, by containing a maleic anhydride copolymer. CONSTITUTION:As a maleic anhydride copolymer to be used, an ethylene/maleic anhydride copolymer, a methyl vinyl ether/maleic anhydride copolymer and an isobutylene/maleic anhydride copolymer are suitable. Especially, the methyl vinyl ether/maleic anhydride copolymer is suitable. In the compounding of various base agents, verious shapes such as a liquid, a powder, a sheet, a solid form foam, a spray form, a gel or a capsule can be used. For example, in the case of the solid form, only the maleic anhydride copolymer is used as an effective component or said copolymer is desirably contained in a compounding ratio of at least 0.1wt.% or more. In the case of the powder, the compounding of an excipient is desirable because it is necessary to make the copolymer easy to process and the amount of the effective component is set to 0.1-80wt.%.

The present invention can be used in various forms such as liquid, powder, sheet, solid, foam, spray, gel, and capsule form in combination with various bases. Moreover, among maleic anhydride copolymers, methyl vinyl ether
Maleic anhydride copolymer has the property of forming a film when used in liquid, spray, or gel form, so it can be used on cloth, nonwoven fabric, paper, nonwoven paper, pulp, cotton, wood, glass, metal, porous resin. It can also be used in the form of impregnation, coating, or spraying on plastics, ceramics, etc. Especially in the case of spray form, a film is formed by spraying directly on the source of the odor, so it is easy to use and has a long-lasting deodorizing effect. etc. is very good.

The amount of the maleic anhydride copolymer, which is an active ingredient, needs to be determined depending on the type and area of the source of the malodor. In addition, various base materials are mixed depending on the shape, so
Although the blending ratio of the maleic anhydride copolymer, which is an active ingredient, varies, for example, in the case of solid form, it is desirable to use only the active ingredient or to contain it in an amount of at least 0.1% by weight. In addition, in the case of powder, it is necessary to make it easy to process into powder, so it is desirable to mix it with an excipient, and the amount of active ingredient is 0.
It is used in a range of 1 to 80% by weight. In addition, in the case of foam, spray, gel, and capsule forms, it is necessary to mix with various excipients, so the active ingredient is 0.1 to 95% by weight, preferably 0.5 to 80% by weight. , more preferably 1.0 to 50%. In addition, in the case of sheet form, the weight % is 1 to 70 g/rd, preferably 3 to 50 g/n?
, more preferably adjusted to 5 to 30 g/rrr, and how to use deodorants and deodorizers made of these shapes include disposable diapers, breast milk vats, portable toilets, menstrual toilets, etc. Hygiene products such as sanitary napkins, wet tissues, toilet paper, sheets, shoe insoles, armpit deodorizing pads, toilets, garbage, cars, refrigerators,
It can be used in a wide range of applications, including as a deodorizer for kitchens, shoe closets, pet excrement from birds, dogs, cats, etc., and in places where bad odors are likely to occur, such as livestock barns.

(Function/Effect) The deodorizing and deodorizing effects of the maleic anhydride copolymer, which is the active ingredient of the present invention, are thought to be due to chemical reactions, and the reaction with ammonia or mercaptans is as shown below. Since a ring-opening reaction occurs due to the reaction with the anhydride contained in the polymer, it is thought to have deodorizing and deodorizing effects by incorporating ammonia odor or mercapto odor, which is the source of bad odors.
