In the case of reversal reproduction, the absolute address signal for music selection is detected by the magnetoresistive head/tape guide 2-b, and the recording/reproducing head 1 reproduces the music signal. In this way, a magnetoresistive head can be provided without changing the basic configuration such as the head position.
