Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a vibration regulating material which is free from deformations or slippage even in a high-temperature ambience, by sticking soft foaming resin onto the opposite surfaces of a rubber material of high specific gravity type, and providing an adhesive material to one of the foaming resin surfaces. CONSTITUTION:Soft foaming resins 3a, 3b are sticked onto the opposite surfaces of a rubber material 2 of a high specific gravity type. An adhesive material 4 is provided on the surface of the one soft foaming resin 3b. Thus, a vibration regulating material 7 is obtained. For example, if the vibration regulating material 7 is wound around a piping 5 by the adhesive material 4 and secured by a bandage 6, the heat transmitted by the piping 5 is shut off by the soft foaming resin 3b and therefore difficult to be transmitted to the rubber material 2. The rubber material 2 increases the weight of the piping, so that a large vibration due to resonance is restricted. Moreover, even when the surface of the rubber material 2 is more or less softened by heat, the surface of the vibration regulating material 7 is kept elastic because of the soft foaming resin 3a, whereby the vibration regulating material 7 is easily bundled by the bandage 6. As described above, the vibration regulating material can be prevented from slipping or separating even in the use in a high temperature ambience. Furthermore, the vibration regulating effect of the material is not lost even in the use in a high temperature ambience. Accordingly, a breakage or deterioration of an apparatus by vibrations can be prevented by the present vibration regulating material.

[Prior Art] Fig. 4(a), Q)) is a front view and a side view showing a conventional vibration damping material of this type, and 1 is a vibration damping material made of a high specific gravity rubber member. High specific gravity rubber members are generally butyl rubber,
It is composed of adhesive materials such as asbestos, carbon powder, calcium carbonate, and petroleum resin, and is soft so it can be used regardless of the shape of the pipe, and it can be fixed by self-fusion by wrapping it in a collected ball.

FIG. 5(a), [present]) and FIG. 7 show examples of the use of conventional damping materials, where 5 is a pipe and 6 is a band for fixing the damping material 1 coated on the pipe 5. The piping 5 has a natural frequency, and when it resonates with the vibrations transmitted to the piping 5, large vibrations occur, causing damage and deterioration of the piping. Wrapping the vibration damping material 1 made of a high specific gravity rubber member around this resonant portion increases the weight of the pipe 5 and shifts the natural frequency to prevent large vibrations due to resonance. By fixing with a band 6, the damping material 1 is prevented from falling off.

Conventional damping materials are constructed as described above, so when the damping material is used in a high-temperature atmosphere, the high specific gravity rubber member receives direct heat and softens, and also receives vibration. The damping material 1 loosens as shown in FIG. 6 from the state shown in FIG. 5, and eventually falls off. Similarly, there was a problem in that the damping material l slipped down from the state shown in FIG. 7 as shown in FIG. 8, and the damping effect was lost. Furthermore, conventional damping materials have a self-fusing effect or are fixed by wrapping a band around them, which limits the places where they can be used.

FIG. 2(a) (with) is a front view and a side sectional view showing an example of the use of the damping material constructed as described above. The vibration damping material 7 is fixed with a band 6. As a result, the heat transmitted from the pipe 5 is blocked by the soft foamed resin 3b and is difficult to be transmitted to the high specific gravity rubber member 2.
In addition, the high specific gravity rubber member 2 increases the importance of piping and suppresses large vibrations due to resonance, as in the past. Moreover, the surface of the high specific gravity rubber member 2 becomes somewhat soft (
Even so, since the surface of the damping material 7 has elasticity due to the soft foamed resin 3a, it is easy to bind the damping material 7 with the band 6.

FIGS. 3(a) and 3(b) are a cutaway front view and a side sectional view showing another example of how the damping material is used. It suppresses vibration. At this time, the soft foamed resin 3a makes it difficult for heat to be transferred to the high specific gravity rubber member 2 even in a high temperature atmosphere, and even if the rubber member 2 becomes slightly soft due to the heat, it will not fall off. On the other hand, the other soft foam resin 3b makes it difficult for the heat from the panel 8 to be transmitted.
