Description
第１図及び第２図は、電気泳動粒子を用いた光
反射素子を車両のヘツドランプの光反射板に応用
した場合におけるこの考案の一実施例を示してお
り、第１図は第２図の―線断面図、第２図は
正面図、第３図から第８図までは従来例を示して
おり、第３図及び第４図は電気泳動粒子を用いた
表示装置であつて、第３図は電圧無印加時の断面
図、第４図は電圧印加時の断面図、第５図乃至第
７図は車両用ヘツドランプのレンズであつて、第
５図はその正面図、第６図は第５図の―線断
面図、第７図は第５図の―線断面図、第８図
は通常の光反射板を用いた車両用ヘツドランプの
断面図である。 １Ａ，１Ｂ……透明基板、２Ａ，２Ｂ……透明
電極、３……分散媒、４……電気泳動粒子。

Claims (1)
- 対向する一対の透明基板と、前記透明基板の対
向する側の面上に配置した一対の透明電極と、前
記一対の透明基板間に注入された分散媒中に分散
される電気泳動粒子とを具備する分散系層とから
成り、前記電気泳動粒子の表面に光反射率の高い
金属薄膜層を蒸着形成することを特徴とする、電
気泳動粒子光反射素子。
