PURPOSE:To enable machining liquid to flow smoothly through a recovering groove so as to hold a normal recovering function by forming a chip slide member having a frictional resistance to the stream of chips, which gradually decreases, in the recovering groove. CONSTITUTION:A sheet-metal-worked member 26 having a U-like cross-sectioned shape and having a width spanning the full groove-width of a recovering groove 24, is fitted in the groove 24 in such a way that the bottom wall of the member 26 is set to be upside, and accordingly, the member 26 has a smooth surface since it is made of sheet-metal, when it is compared with a cast article which has a rough surface. Further, the member 26 is coated with an urethane material so as to have a smoother surface, and accordingly, chips may easily slide on the member 26. This member 26 is formed extending over the overall width of the recovering groove 24. Since the groove 24 has cast lateral walls 30 so as to have slight concave and convex parts therein which define gaps that allows the machining liquid alone to pass therethrough, between the member 26 and the lateral walls 30. くはこの部材26にウレタン塗装を行うと更に滑らかに
なり、該部材26上を切粉は滑動し易くなる。このコの
字形部材26は回収溝24の溝幅一満に構成されている
が、溝側面30は鋳肌であり小さな凹凸が存在し、コの
字形断面部材26の側面との間に切削液のみ落下する隙
間が存在する。従って、仮に表面の滑らかなコの字形断
面部材26の底壁上面27に切粉が停留し始めたとして
も、切削液そのものはコの字形断面部材26の下側に流
れ込み、該コの字形部材26と回収溝24の底面28と
が区画形成する下層流路内を流れる。こうして切削液が
回収溝24からあふれることを防止できる。

を形成して成る特許請求の範囲第1項記載の工作機械の
切粉及び切削液の回収溝構造。 3、前記コの字形断面切粉滑動部材が板金材でつくられ
て成る特許請求の範囲第2項記載の工作機械の切粉及び
切削液の回収溝構造。 4、前記切粉滑動部材が前記回収溝の底面に設けられた
