を配設すると共に、前記３個の吸気弁に共通する
吸気ポートを各吸気弁に対応して中央分岐ポート
部とその両側の側方分岐ポート部とに分岐形成し
た内燃機関において、前記吸気ポートの分岐点よ
りも上流側に二方向に燃料を噴射する燃料噴射弁
を設け、この燃料噴射弁の二方向の燃料噴霧の中
心を各々両側の側方分岐ポート部内に方向づける
と共に、燃料噴霧の一部が中央分岐ポート部の側
壁面に沿つて分流するように噴霧角を設定したこ
