Wooden doors are usually manufactured by fixing a panel within a framework formed by a frame and then applying paint to the surface of the panel. However, such wooden doors often have the problem of deterioration of the paint film. This deterioration of the paint film often begins at the joints between the frames or the joints between the frames and the panel, and this is due to the movement of these parts at the joints, which causes cracks in the paint film. This is caused by the formation of gaps through which water can enter. The invading water causes the paint film to rise from the door surface, and eventually causes the paint film to peel off. Further, since the paint is applied only to the surface of the joint and is difficult to penetrate into the joint, the occurrence of cracks as described above cannot be avoided, and the deterioration of the paint film is even worse.

Therefore, the purpose of this invention is to provide a wooden door that blocks water from entering through the joints and prevents the paint film from deteriorating.

An embodiment of this invention is shown in FIGS. 1 to 5. That is, this wooden door consists of a frame 1 and a panel 2 or a frame 1 as shown in FIGS. 1 to 5.
A coating film 3 is continuously formed on the surfaces of the joints A and B, and a silicone coating film 4 is provided on the surfaces of the joints A and B with the coating film 3 interposed therebetween.

With this structure, even if the joints A and B are misaligned due to severe vibrations or shocks during use and a gap is created, the silicone coating film 4 can almost completely block water from entering. Therefore, deterioration of the coating film 3 can be prevented.

The silicone coating film 4 is formed by, for example, applying a silicone caulking material to the joint portions A and B after forming the coating film 3. It is preferable that the silicone caulking material used be transparent or of a color almost similar to the color of the paint to be applied.

The silicone caulking material is a sealing material using a silicone elastomer, and by applying this material to the joints A and B to form a coating film 4, even if the joints A and B are misaligned, the coating will be damaged. Even if a crack occurs in the film 3, the silicone coating 4 covers the surface and is itself water repellent, so water will not enter from the joints A and B, and the coating will be completed. This makes it possible to prevent deterioration of the film. Further, since silicone is usually added to the paint used for painting the surface of the door to impart smoothness and weather resistance, the adhesion of the silicone coating film 4 to the paint film 3 is good.

As mentioned above, the wooden door of this invention prevents water from entering through the joints by providing a silicone coating on the surface of the frame and panel joints via a paint film, thereby preventing the deterioration of the paint film. It is possible to further improve the weather resistance and durability of wooden doors, and waterproofing can be done after joining the parts, making it easy to manufacture doors with waterproofing. There is an effect that
