In conventional sliding door devices, the door frame is composed of left and right vertical frames and upper and lower horizontal frames, and the upper and lower horizontal frames have concave grooves and convex rails for slidingly guiding the upper and lower ends of each sliding door shoji. Each sliding door shoji installed in the door frame is opened and closed by sliding along these concave grooves and convex rails. However, with this type of sliding door device, the shoji only moves left and right within the door frame, so in the case of a two-panel sliding door shoji, for example, even if the shoji is opened to the maximum, only half of the opening in the door frame can be opened. Therefore, there was an inconvenience that the shoji had to be removed when furniture, etc. that was wider than the opening when the shoji was fully opened was to be taken in or out through the door frame opening. Additionally, since the rails protrude from the top of the lower horizontal frame of the door frame, it is easy for dirt and water to accumulate between the rails, making it difficult to remove the accumulated dirt and creating a risk of tripping. .

As explained above, in the sliding door device of the present invention, at least two sliding door shojis each having a turnable door roller attached to the lower end face of each shoji are arranged in a sliding manner in the door frame, and the corresponding horizontal stile of the adjacent sliding door shoji With a slide bar interposed between them, guides provided on both longitudinal sides of the slide bar are slid into guide grooves having a substantially C-shaped cross section integrally formed on mutually opposing surfaces of the corresponding horizontal stile. At the same time, one end of the shoji rotating frame is pivotally connected to the indoor side or outdoor side end of one of the vertical frames of the above-mentioned door frame, and the shoji rotating frame is attached to the innermost side or the outermost side of the door frame. Since the sliding door shoji is fixed, when opening the shoji, all the other sliding door shoji are pulled to the side fixed to the shoji rotation frame, and the shoji rotation frame is pivoted while overlapping them. By rotating the sliding door shoji to the indoor side or the outdoor side, all the sliding door shoji can be moved out of the door frame and the opening of the door frame can be completely opened, and the shoji can be removed one by one as in the conventional method. There are no inconveniences. In addition, according to the sliding door device of the present invention, there is no need to provide a convex rail on the door frame to guide the door roller at the lower end of the sliding door shoji, unlike conventional methods, so dirt and water do not accumulate between the rails and cleaning is easy. It is easy to do, and there is no risk of tripping when entering or exiting.
Furthermore, according to the present invention, the guide groove into which the guide of the slide bar fits is not formed in a member specially attached to the sliding door shoji, but is integrally formed in the horizontal stile that makes up the sliding door shoji. It is possible to effectively utilize the space in the door frame, reduce the expected width of the door frame, and reduce the number of parts, thereby reducing costs.

更にまた本考案によれば、各引戸障子の下端面

Furthermore, according to the present invention, since a turnable door roller that can freely roll in any direction is attached to the lower end surface of each sliding door shoji, the turnable door roller is guided to roll on the floor when the shoji is opened. Each sliding door shoji can be opened smoothly, and each shoji is always supported by a turnable door wheel, and each shoji is held interlocked with each other by a slide bar, so each shoji can be opened smoothly. The shoji rotating frame for opening the shoji only needs to be attached to one end of the indoor or outdoor shoji, does not require a large mounting frame like a general door frame, and can be manufactured at a correspondingly low cost.
