Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to sprinkle drain water readily and uniformly to a heat exchanger by installing a through hole to the bottom plate of a sprinkler, a bulkhead which covers said hole, and mounting a conduit piece, which is approximately inversed U-shaped, and faces said through bottom plate on one end and said through hole on the other end, to said bulkhead provided at a proper distance. CONSTITUTION:A through hole 54 is installed to the bottom plate of a sprinkler 13 which is placed on an indoor heat exchanger 12. A bulkhead 55 which covers the through hole 54 is also installed. To the bulkhead installed is a conduit piece 60, which is substantially reversed U-shaped, faces the bottom plate at one end and the through hole on the other end at a distance with the bulkhead. This construction allows the drain water accumulated in the sprinkler 13 to drop swiftly from the conduit piece 60 into a heat exchanger 12 by capillary phenomenon through a long and narrow gap between the conduit piece 60 and the bulkhead 55. It is, therefore, possible to sprinkle drain water into the heat exchanger 12 swiftly and uniformly, then to humidify as well.

According to this content, the drain water that has been completely generated in the outdoor heat exchanger is pumped up and guided through a pipe to the water sprinkler above the indoor heat exchanger, and the heat generated by this indoor heat exchanger is used to evaporate the drain water and then indoor I am trying to send it to. The water sprinkler contained water-absorbing material and was designed to uniformly spray drain water over the entire indoor heat exchanger. However, if this drain water contains dust or the like, this dust may adhere to the water-absorbing material and reduce water sprinkling performance.

(c) Problems to be solved by the invention In a sprinkler in which the bottom plate is provided with a large number of sprinkler holes and a weir surrounding the holes, the water level of the drain water is higher than the height of the weir. However, the problem is that surface tension causes overflow from the weir, making it difficult to humidify quickly. Another problem is that, for example, if the water sprinklers are installed in a somewhat similar manner, a large amount of drain water drips from the lowered part due to the inclination, making it impossible to spray the drain water uniformly.

In such a drain reservoir 14, the drain pan 26 of the outdoor chamber 7 is connected from the connection port 52 through the second pipe 18.
Drain water accumulated in the drain water is fed into the drain water, and a second filter 48 removes dust and the like from the drain water, and the drain water flows to the first connection port 45. During the heating operation, the temperature of the outside air is high and the amount of drain water generated in the outdoor heat exchanger 25 increases, and the amount sent to the drain reservoir 14 from the second pipe 18 is increased from the first pipe 16. When the amount of drain water exceeds the amount discharged from the drain reservoir 14, the level of drain water in the drain reservoir 14 gradually rises. When the water level becomes higher than the height of the partition wall 43 of the connection port 44, the drain water is drained from the connection port 44.
4 and is returned to the bottom plate 4 of the outdoor chamber 7 via the return pipe 17. In other words, the drain reservoir 14 prevents more than a certain amount of drain water from being introduced to the sprinkler 13.

In this sprinkler 13, when drain water flows into the sprinkler 13 from the water inlet 53, the drain water flows along the flow channel 64 formed by the weir 55 and the rising piece 63 on the outside of the sprinkler 13. , join together on the anti-water injection port side 65. When the drain water 66 accumulates in the flow channel 64 in this way, the water level of this drain water 66 rises to the water guide piece 60 as shown in FIG.
It is higher than the other end 67. When this happens, drain water 66 is sucked up by capillary action into the gap a between the weir 55 and the water guiding piece 60, and the sucked up drain water becomes a drop 6B from one end 62 of the water guiding piece 60 and is transferred to the indoor heat exchanger 12.
It is dripped into. Here, since this drain water 66 is guided through the elongated gap a between the water guide piece 60 and the weir 55, even if the drain water in the water sprinkler 13 is contaminated with dirt, this dirt may Even if the gap a with the weir 55 is clogged, the clogged part is only a part of the long and narrow gap, so the drain water 66 is sucked up by capillary action from places other than the clogged part, which hinders the dripping of the drain water 66. There is little risk of this happening.

In addition, there are a total of 70 such water guide pieces 60, and therefore, approximately 70 drops 68 can drip onto the indoor heat exchanger 12, so even if there is the above-mentioned dust clogging, the indoor heat exchanger 12
Drain water is evenly sprinkled on the area. Furthermore, even if the injection of drain water into the sprinkler 13 is stopped, if the water level of the drain water 66 in the sprinkler 13 is higher than the other end 67 of the water guide piece 60, the water in the sprinkler 13 will be drained due to capillary action. Drain water is dripped into the indoor heat exchanger 12. In this way, drain water is prevented from remaining in the sprinkler 13 as much as possible.

FIG. 7 is an explanatory diagram showing the relationship among the above-mentioned drain pump 27, drain reservoir 14, water sprinkler 13, and indoor heat exchanger 12 in this air conditioner. In this figure, during heating operation, drain water generated in the outdoor heat exchanger 25 is sucked up by the drain pump 27 and is led to the drain reservoir 14 from the drain port 69 of the pump through the second pipe 18 as shown by the solid line arrow. I'm scared. When the water level of the drain water in the reservoir 14 reaches a certain level or higher, the drain water is returned to the outdoor drain pan 26 of the outdoor room 7 via the return pipe I7. On the other hand, the drain water in the needle reservoir 14 is led to the water sprinkler 13 via the first pipe 16, and drops 68 from the water guide piece 6o of the through hole 54 of the water sprinkler 13 to the indoor heat exchanger 12.
is dripped on. Here, for example, if the drain water collected in the outdoor drain pan 26 (see Fig. 1) of the outdoor room 7 is contaminated with dirt, etc., this dirt is first removed by the first filter 32, and then the drain pump is pumped. 27 so as not to interfere with its rotation. In addition, the drain water completely discharged from the drain pump 27 may also contain small dust that has passed through the first filter 32, and such small dust is filtered through the second filter 48 (fourth (see figure) and guided to the water sprinkler 13.

In addition, the second pipe 18 is arranged so as to be inclined toward the drain pump 27 side so that there is no trap, so that when the drain pump 27 stops, no drain water remains in the second pipe 18, so that no drain water is left in the second pipe 18. This prevents piping from cracking due to freezing of drain water.

In addition, during cooling operation, please allow the drain pump 27 to stop operating.
The drain water generated in the indoor heat exchanger 12 is received by the indoor drain pan 10, collected from the drain port 11 of this drain pan 10 into the outdoor drain pan 26 of the outdoor room 7, and sent to the outdoor heat exchanger 25 by a splash device (not shown). Sprinkle water.

(G) Effects of the Invention As described above, according to the present invention, a through hole is provided in the bottom plate of the water sprinkler for sprinkling heat exchanger hedren water, and a weir surrounding the hole is provided, and one end of the weir is connected to the bottom plate. Since the approximately inverted U-shaped water guiding piece whose other end faces the through hole is attached with a gap between it and the weir, drain water can be quickly and uniformly sprayed onto the heat exchanger.
