Abstract

PURPOSE:To realize an ideal temperature distribution which can keep the head cool and the feet warm by blowing off an uncooled air from the surface of a hollow panel and a cooled air from the end and introducing the air into a suction port on the opposite side of a blow-off port. CONSTITUTION:A suction port 10, which is equivalent to a blower 4, is installed to one end of a hollow panel 2 while a blow-off port 6 is installed to the upper surface of said hollow panel 2. At the same time, a blow-off port 8 is installed to the other side of the suction port 10 so that the air sucked-in from the suction port 10 may blow off from the blow off ports 6 and 8. When performing the aforesaid blowing-off operation, however, it is contrived that only the air discharged from the blow-off port 8 must be cooled by a heat exchanger 3. The air discharged from the blow-off ports 6 and 8 flow down in the direction of the suction port 10. Since the airflow discharged from the blow-off port 8 is cooled down by the heat exchanger 3, the air is cooler than the air discharged from the blow-off port 6, but the colder air supported by the air rising from the blow-off port 6, moves to a higher position and reaches the suction port 10. The portion directly over the hollow panel 2 is surrounded by a less cooler air discharged from the blow-off port 6. If is, therefore, possible to embody more comfortable cooling performance which can keep the head cool and the feet warm.

As a result, the temperature distribution in the room is as shown in Figure 8, which means that while the feet are cold, the air at head level is not. FIG. 8(a) is a diagram directly showing the temperature distribution in the room, and FIG. 8(b) is a diagram showing the temperature at the height direction position (vertical axis) on the horizontal axis. If you turn on the air conditioner until your head feels cool, your feet will get too cold and it will be extremely uncomfortable. It is said that the so-called cool head and cold feet, where the head is cool and the feet are warm, is comfortable and good for health, but the current state of conventional air conditioning systems is that the temperature distribution is exactly the opposite, with a warm head and cold feet, which is very ideal. It can not be said. In addition, in terms of health, getting your feet too cold can lead to various health problems such as air conditioner disease, which has become a serious problem in recent years, especially for women in overly air-conditioned offices.

(Objective of the Invention) The present invention has been made in view of the above-mentioned circumstances, and provides a panel-type air conditioner that realizes an ideal temperature distribution that does not cause harmful effects such as air conditioner disease caused by too cold feet and causes a cold head and warm feet. It has been made possible to provide.

A blower 4 and an air suction port 10 to the blower 4 are provided at one end of the panel cooling device 1 . The strip-shaped outlet 8 is provided on the upper surface of the end opposite to the suction port 10 along the end. An air passage 14 is formed between the outlet 8 and the intake port 10. The heat exchanger 3 is provided within the hollow panel 2 in front of the air outlet 8.

In this embodiment, the airflow emerging from the outlet 6.8 flows towards the outlet 10. The air coming out of the outlet 8 is cooled by the heat exchanger 3 and is therefore cooler than the air coming out of the outlet 6, but is supported by the air rising from the outlet 6 and moves to a higher position to reach the outlet 10.

Figures 3 to 6 merely illustrate different embodiments of the invention. FIG. 3 is a perspective view of an embodiment in which the inside of the hollow panel 2 is divided into two upper and lower air passages 12 and 13 by the partition wall 7, and FIG. 4 is a sectional view taken along BB' in FIG. In the figure, reference numeral 1 denotes a panel type cooling device 1, which is an embodiment of the present invention, and is composed of a hollow panel 2, a heat exchanger 3, a blower 4, and the like. The hollow panel 2 is provided with a substantially uniform air outlet 6 on the entire surface of the upper surface 5 and a strip-shaped air outlet 8 parallel to the side edge. The hollow panel 2 is divided into two upper and lower air passages 12 and 13 by a partition wall 7 from one end to the other end, and an air outlet 6 is provided on the upper surface of the upper air passage 12. The tip of the upper air passage 12 is closed by a partition wall 9. A heat exchanger 3 is provided in the lower air passage 13 and is connected to an outlet 8 provided at the end of the upper surface 5. A suction port 10 and a blower 4 are provided on the side of the air outlet 8.

Indoor air is sucked into the air blower A4 from the suction port 10,
It is blown into the hollow panel 2. At that time, the air is blown into an upper air passage 12 and a lower air passage 13 divided by a partition wall 7, but since the heat exchanger 3 is not arranged in the upper air passage 12, it is installed on the upper surface 5 without being cooled. The air will be blown out from the air outlet 6. A heat exchanger 3 is provided in the lower air passage 13, and the air passing through the lower air passage 13 is cooled, flows to the end of the hollow panel 2, and is blown out from the air outlet 8. Since the air blown out from the air outlet 8 is cold, it tries to descend due to the difference in density, but because the air is constantly blown out from the air outlet 6 in the upper air passage 12, it cannot descend. Since the air blown out from the outlet 6 of the upper air passage 12 is warm, cold air does not float directly above the hollow panel 2. As for the flow of air on the panel cooling device 1, the blower 4 is placed on the opposite side of the air outlet 8, and since it sucks air, the airflow moves from the air outlet 8 side to the air outlet 10 side as shown in the figure. , the cold air passes through head height without descending. Moreover, the surface of the hollow panel 2 and the vicinity of the feet are always surrounded by warm air.

FIGS. 6(a) and 6(b) show the temperature distribution on the panel cooling device 1 similarly to FIG. 8. As shown in the figure, there is a zone of cool air just above the head height from the outlet 8, and a zone of warm air on the surface of the hollow panel 2 and near the feet, which is the ideal temperature distribution for what is called a cold head and feet heat.

(Effect of the invention) As described above, by blowing out uncooled air from the surface of the hollow panel 2 and cooled air from the end, and guiding this to the air inlet on the opposite side of the air outlet, It's cool at head level and warm near your feet.
We were able to provide an excellent panel-type air conditioner that achieves the ideal temperature distribution of so-called cold head and warm feet.
