Conventionally, in FRP sailboats, the centerboard case is formed by attaching a separate part to prevent the through hole from opening downward. In other words, if the bottom plate of the hull is bent to stand up, it will be necessary to create a draft in order to remove the hull from the mold after laminating FRP, and the through hole will open downward, causing the centerboard to wobble. . For this reason, a separate part is bonded to the hull with a padding to reduce the wobbling of the centerboard at the bottom of the through hole. This adhesive part is made by bending the bottom wall of the hull and abutting the lower end of the separately formed centerboard case against it, and joining the abutting part with a lining material. For this reason, the centerboard case had to be held in place until the adhesive part had hardened, and the butt part had to be glued with batting material to seal that part, which was time-consuming. . Furthermore, since the bonding was performed by butting, the bonding strength was not sufficient.

The present invention was made to solve these conventional drawbacks, and by adopting a joining structure by overlapping, the joint strength is increased and sealing is ensured. That is, the present invention provides a centerboard case in which the edge of the centerboard through hole in the bottom plate of the hull is bent inward to form the lower peripheral wall of the through hole, and the centerboard case is overlapped with the outer periphery of this bent part and is flush with the inner peripheral surface of the bent part. are adhered to each other at the overlapping portion.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. In FIGS. 1 and 2, 1 is a hull bottom plate, 2 is a bow deck, 3 is a centerboard case, 4 is a through hole, 5 is a centerboard that passes through this hole, and 9 is a seat. This hull is made of FRP and is formed by injection molding resin into the space formed in the upper and lower molds. Therefore, the inside surface of the ship is also a smooth surface. As shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the centerboard case 3 includes a cylindrical part 31 having a vertical through hole, a stepped part 32 extending from the lower part of the cylindrical part 31, and a flange part 33 extending outward at the lower end of the cylindrical part 31. and a flange portion 34 formed above the cylindrical portion 31.
It is made of FRP and is formed separately from the hull in this shape. In addition, the hull bottom plate 1 is bent and stood up so as to form a through hole 4 for the center board 5 when stacked, and this rising wall 1
3 forms the inner wall of the through hole 4.

To attach the centerboard case 3 to the hull bottom plate 1, after applying urethane adhesive 6 to the rising wall 13 and its surroundings, lower the centerboard case 3 from the state shown in FIG. While being fitted onto the wall 13, the flange 33 is brought into contact with the inner surface of the hull bottom plate 1, and their contact surfaces are adhered. In this state, the cylindrical part 3 of the center board case 3
The inner surface of the wall 1 is flush with the inner surface of the rising wall 13, and a through hole 4 that does not open downward is formed by these inner surfaces.

Conventionally, as shown in FIG.
Because they were joined using FRP eyeliner 7, it was necessary to hold them until they hardened, and the joint strength of the eyeliner 7 was weak, and there was a drawback that it was difficult to ensure a perfect seal at that part. . On the other hand, in the structure shown in FIG. 4, bonding is performed over a wide area rather than by butting, so the bonding strength is high and there is no need for holding until curing. Furthermore, since sealing is performed over a wide joint area, it is reliable. Furthermore, as shown in FIG. 5, the conventional structure has the disadvantage that the lining material 7 is exposed and the appearance is bad, but since the lining material is not required, the appearance is also excellent. Further, the overlapping portion of the step portion 32 and the flange portion 33 has the effect of reinforcing the area around the through hole 4 of the hull bottom plate 1.

As explained above, in the centerboard case of a fiber-reinforced plastic sailboat, the bent part of the bottom plate and the centerboard case are joined in an overlapping structure and are joined so that they are flush with each other. In addition, a sufficient bonding area is obtained, the bonding strength is high, the sealing is perfect, it is easy to hold during bonding work, and it has an excellent appearance. Moreover, the inner surface of the centerboard case is formed with a smooth surface. This allows for smooth operation of the centerboard.
