ネトカバーを被着し、マグネトカバー内に突出す
るクランクシヤフトにロータを固定してマグネト
を構成するようにしたものにおいて、テーパ嵌合
およびクランクシヤフトに螺合したロータ締着ナ
ツトによりロータを固定すると共に、クランクシ
ヤフトをさらに延長した延長軸をマグネトカバー
から突出させて、その先端にねじおよびスプライ
ンを形成して備え、上記ロータ締着ナツトに接す
るスペーサとスプラインに嵌合したリコイルカツ
プとをねじに螺合した締着ナツトにより共締めし
て固定し、マグネトカバーに嵌着したオイルシー
ルによつて上記スペーサ外周を軸封し、さらに上
記リコイルカツプに係合するリコイルスタータを
マグネトカバー外面に被着したものであつて、リ
コイルスタータ不要のときは、上記締着ナツト、
リコイルカツプ、スペーサおよびオイルシールを
除き、マグネトカバーのオイルシール嵌合孔に圧
入したプラグによりクランク軸端周りを封鎖する
ようにしたことを特徴とするエンジンのリコイル
