Claims (1)
部に対して外部制御可能な電磁結合手段を介して
所定の補助慣性質量を有する補助慣性部材を結合
可能に構成し、所定のエンジン回転数を基準とし
て任意に補助慣性質量を付加することによりフラ
イホイール全体の慣性質量を車両運転状態に応じ
て適切に可変できるように構成してなるエンジン
において、クラツチのミート状態を検出するクラ
ツチミート検出手段と、上記エンジンの回転数を
検出するエンジン回転数検出手段と、上記電磁結
合手段の結合状態を制御する電磁結合状態制御手
段とを設け、上記クラツチミート検出手段によつ
てクラツチのミート状態が検出された時の上記エ
ンジン回転数検出手段によつて検出されたエンジ
ン回転数に応じて上記電磁結合状態制御手段によ
つて上記電磁結合手段の結合状態を制御すること
により上記フライホイール全体の慣性質量を運転
者の運転特性に合せて可変制御するようにしたこ
