を介装することにより行つていた。しかし、この
方法ではシムの選択、上刃物6の取付取外し、シ
ムの交換などクリアランス調整に30〜60分の作業
時間を要するため、時間ロスが大きい。又、シム
の製作誤差、シム及び上刃物の取付誤差によりク
リアランスの不均一が起こり易く、このため切断
面が荒れ製品価値が下落する問題があつた。又、
シムをサイズ別に多数製作する必要があり、その
保管が煩さとなる。
