して鉋刃を装着したものがある。上記構成の刃高
調整装置の場合、刃高調整は前記楔体13を前記
溝に沿つて横移動させるとともに、弾性体12を
たわませることにより鉋刃の出し入れを行つてい
た。このため調整時に弾性体12の弾性限度をこ
えて調整してしまつた場合、弾性体12は永久変
形してしまい調整を不可能としていた。また、調
整時だけとは限らず、切削時においても切削時に
生じる切削抵抗により弾性体12を永久変形させ
てしまうことがあり、操作性が悪く精度の低下に
伴い切削材の仕上面を著しく悪化させていた。さ
らに、永久変形してしまつた弾性体12を取替え
る際、弾性体12は高精度に加工されており、非
常に高価な物であつたため、実用性にも欠けてい
た。

には横溝7が設けられており、横溝7に頭部が係

のアジヤストスクリユー26をそれぞれ2個のウ
オームホイール10に螺合させる。ウオームホイ
ール10はガタなく回転可能にアジヤストナツト
27により支持されている。前記2個のウオーム
ホイール10にそれぞれ噛み合う2本のウオーム
軸11を刃物保持体5の両側方からアジヤストナ
ツト28によりガタなく回転可能に支持されてい
る。前記ウオーム軸11両端面にはマイナス溝2
