Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a deodorizing device effectively used for a toilet, etc., by sealing a water composition containing a deodorant, tackifier, foaming surfactant into an aerosol can together with a liquefied gas and jetting foams including the deodorant through a nozzle when applying the device. CONSTITUTION:A deodorizing device includes a water composition containing a deodorant, tackifier and foaming surfactant sealed in an aerosol can together with a liquefied gas. When used, foams including the deodorant are jetted via an aerosol can nozzle. A deodorant should be water soluble or dispersable, and may be a natural substance, such as flaronoid, amino acid, pyrolignous acid, abietic acid and malic acid series, chlorite, ferrous sulfate, ferric chloride. Foam forming surfactant may be polyehyleneglycol fatty acid esters and polyoxyalkylether. A tackifier may be various water soluble polymers such as polyvinyl alcohol. A deodorant concentration in the solution is 5-15wt.%, surfactant concentration 1-15wt.%, and tackifier concentration 0.01-1wt.%.

BACKGROUND ART Conventionally, known deodorizing agents include solid substances having deodorizing power, such as activated carbon and zeolite, sealed in an air-permeable container, or deodorizing liquid sealed in an aerosol can. When used in an aerosol can, fine particles of deodorizing liquid are ejected from the nozzle, and although it is effective in removing bad odors from the air, it is not suitable for areas with a lot of water, such as toilets.

In the deodorizing device of the present invention, when an on-off valve attached to a nozzle of an aerosol can is opened, foam containing a deodorizing agent and other components is ejected from the nozzle. This foam is difficult to defoam, and when it is formed inside a toilet bowl, etc., it remains for a long time without being defoamed.

Furthermore, when urinating or urinating on top of the foam, the foam wraps around the foam, eliminating the possibility of splashing of urine droplets and effectively removing the odor. Further, by using a perfume, it is possible to create a fragrance in the toilet, and by using a single dye, colored foam such as pink or blue can be formed.
