Description

Claims (17)
- 低温装置であって、
加圧された冷却剤を含む冷却剤源と、
1つ以上の針を含むニードルプローブに向けて前記冷却剤を方向付けるように構成された冷却剤経路であって、前記冷却剤が前記1つ以上の針を介して、標的組織にクライオセラピーを送達するように構成されている、冷却剤経路と、
ヒータと、
プロセッサであって、
クライオセラピー処置サイクル中の前記低温装置の第1のニードルプローブを通る冷却剤の予想される平均質量流量に対応する第1の流量値を受信し、
前記第1の流量値に基づいて、第1の処置サイクルの、前記低温装置に関連し、前記冷却剤を加熱するように構成されているヒータに印加される、第1の標的ヒータ電力を決定し、
前記第1の処置サイクルの入力を受信し、
前記入力に応答して前記第1のニードルプローブに向け、ある期間にわたり前記冷却剤を流させ、
前記冷却剤を加熱し、かつ前記第1の処置サイクル中又は前記第1の処置サイクル後に、前記低温装置内部の圧力を安定化させるように、前記第1の処置サイクル中に前記ヒータに前記第1の標的ヒータ電力を印加させ、
前記第1の処置サイクル中に、前記低温装置の圧力センサからの圧力データを受信し、
受信した前記圧力データに基づき、前記第1の処置サイクルの冷却段階中の圧力の平均変化率を計算し、かつ
圧力の前記平均変化率に基づく調整値により前記第1の標的ヒータ電力を上方又は下方に調整することで少なくとも部分的に計算される、第2の処置サイクルの第2の標的ヒータ電力を計算するように、構成されている、プロセッサと、
を備える、低温装置。 - 前記第1の標的ヒータ電力が、前記第1の処置サイクルの冷却サイクル中の圧力の平均変化率が予め定義した範囲内に留まるように定義される、請求項1に記載の低温装置。
- 前記プロセッサが、圧力の前記平均変化率が負であると判断するように、さらに構成されており、前記第2の標的ヒータ電力が、前記調整値により前記第1の標的ヒータ電力を上方に調整することで少なくとも部分的に計算される、請求項1に記載の低温装置。
- 前記プロセッサが、圧力の前記平均変化率が正であると判断するように、さらに構成されており、前記第2の標的ヒータ電力が、前記調整値により前記第1の標的ヒータ電力を下方に調整することで少なくとも部分的に計算される、請求項1に記載の低温装置。
- 前記ヒータが、前記低温装置に関連する冷却剤源に連結される、請求項1又は2に記載の低温装置。
- 前記低温装置がハンドピース部を備え、前記冷却剤源及び前記第1のニードルプローブが前記ハンドピース部に直接連結され、前記冷却剤経路が前記冷却剤源と前記第1のニードルプローブとの間に延在する、請求項5に記載の低温装置。
- 前記プロセッサが、前記第1の標的ヒータ電力を印加するために必要な標的デューティーサイクルを決定するように、さらに構成されており、
前記第1の標的ヒータ電力を印加することにより、前記標的デューティーサイクルの間前記ヒータが働く、
請求項1又は2に記載の低温装置。 - 前記標的デューティーサイクルが、等式:デューティーサイクル=P標的×(Rヒータ/Vヒータ2)の出力に基づき決定され、式中、P標的は前記第1の標的ヒータ電力であり、Rヒータは前記ヒータの抵抗であり、Vヒータは前記ヒータの電圧である、請求項7に記載の低温装置。
- 前記プロセッサが、Vヒータのリアルタイム値を推定するために、前記ヒータに連結された電源の電圧を監視するように、さらに構成されている、請求項8に記載の低温装置。
- 前記プロセッサが、前記ヒータに印加された電流又は電圧の量を調整することにより、前記第1の標的ヒータ電力を印加するように、構成されている、請求項1又は2に記載の低温装置。
- 前記調整値が圧力の前記平均変化率の大きさに基づいて決定される、請求項1に記載の低温装置。
- 前記プロセッサが、圧力の前記平均変化率が、閾値の大きさよりも大きいと判断し、
前記判断に基づき、前記低温装置に関する問題を示す通知を生成するように、さらに構成されている請求項1に記載の低温装置。 - 圧力の前記平均変化率が負であり、前記通知が、圧力の前記平均変化率に基づいて、前記問題を冷却剤源の減少として特定する、請求項12に記載の低温装置。
- 圧力の前記平均変化率が正であり、前記通知が、圧力の前記平均変化率に基づいて、前記問題を冷却剤経路の遮断又は妨害として特定する、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記プロセッサが、
前記第1の処置サイクルの冷却サイクル前に、前記低温装置の第1の圧力を決定し、
第2の処置サイクルの冷却サイクル前に、前記低温装置の第2の圧力を決定するように、さらに構成され、
前記第2の標的ヒータ電力は、
前記第2の圧力が前記第1の圧力よりも低いときに、前記第1の標的ヒータ電力を上方に調整すること、又は
前記第2の圧力が前記第1の圧力よりも高いときに、前記第1の標的ヒータ電力を下方に調整すること、
により少なくとも部分的に計算される、請求項1又は2に記載の低温装置。 - 前記第1のニードルプローブが、第2のニードルプローブと交換され、
前記プロセッサが、クライオセラピー処置サイクルの冷却段階中に、前記第2のニードルプローブを通る冷却剤の予想される平均質量流量に対応する、第2の流量値を受信し、
前記第2の流量値に基づき、前記第2のニードルプローブを用いて実施される処置サイクルの、前記ヒータにより印加される新規標的ヒータ電力を決定するように、さらに構成されている、請求項1又は2に記載の低温装置。 - 前記第1の処置サイクルが冷却段階及び回復段階を含み、前記第1の標的ヒータ電力が、前記冷却段階中に印加される、請求項1又は2に記載の低温装置。
