Description
赤外レーザを生成するように構成された1つまたは複数の赤外レーザ光源
を含む。図2に示される例は、1つの赤外レーザ光源の概略図を示す。図2に矢印で示されている方向は、赤外レーザの伝送方向である。赤外レーザ光源によって放射される赤外レーザは、ポンプ光源として使用されることができる。換言すれば、赤外レーザ光源は、ポンプ光源として理解され得る。光ポンピングは、光を使用して、電子を原子または分子内で低いエネルギー準位から高いエネルギー準位へ上昇させる(または「ポンピングされる」)プロセスとして理解され得る。ポンプ光源は、非線形結晶を励起するために光エネルギーを生成する光源として理解され得る、したがって、非線形結晶は、非線形結晶を励起する光に対して波長変換(または周波数変換)を行う。この光源は、ポンプ光源として理解され得る。本出願のこの実施形態では、赤外レーザ光源によって生成された赤外レーザは、非線形結晶内の電子を原子または分子内で低いエネルギー準位から高いエネルギー準位へ上昇させる(または「ポンピングされる」)ことができ、したがって、赤外レーザの波長または周波数が非線形結晶内で変換されることができる。赤外レーザ光源は非線形光学結晶アレイの入力端に接続され、非線形光学結晶アレイは1つまたは複数の非線形光学結晶を含み、各非線形結晶は、赤外レーザに対して周波数変換を行いかつ/または赤外レーザの波長を広げるように構成され、非線形光学結晶アレイの出力端は可視ガウスビームを出力する。

Claims (6)
- レーザ投影表示装置に適用される光源システムであって、
単一の赤外レーザ光源および非線形光学結晶アレイであって、前記非線形光学結晶アレイの入力端が前記赤外レーザ光源の出力端に接続され、前記非線形光学結晶アレイが、前記赤外レーザ光源によって生成された赤外レーザに対して周波数変換を行い、前記周波数変換後に得られたレーザを出力するように構成され、前記赤外レーザ光源がポンプ光源であり、前記非線形光学結晶アレイが直列に接続された複数の非線形光学結晶を備え、各非線形結晶が単一モードガウスビームを出力するように構成され、前記直列に接続された複数の非線形光学結晶がそれぞれ出力した複数の前記単一モードガウスビームが結合されて、前記非線形光学結晶アレイの出力端が同軸可視ガウスレーザビームを出力し、前記同軸可視ガウスレーザビームが可視結合平行RGBビームを提供する、赤外レーザ光源および非線形光学結晶アレイを備え、
前記赤外レーザ光源は、波長範囲が980nm~1064nmの赤外レーザを生成する広帯域赤外レーザ光源であり、
前記複数の非線形光学結晶は、赤色マルチ高調波発生結晶、緑色マルチ高調波発生結晶、及び、青色マルチ高調波発生結晶から成る、光源システム。 - 前記光源システムはコリメータをさらに備え、前記コリメータの入力端が前記赤外レーザ光源の出力端に接続され、前記コリメータの出力端が前記非線形光学結晶アレイの前記入力端に接続され、前記コリメータが、前記赤外レーザ光源によって放射された赤外レーザをコリメートし、前記コリメートされた赤外レーザを前記非線形光学結晶アレイに伝送するように構成される、請求項1に記載の光源システム。
- 可変光減衰器が各非線形光学結晶の前に配置され、前記可変光減衰器が、前記非線形光学結晶に対応する波長の赤外レーザの電力を調整するように構成される、請求項1または2に記載の光源システム。
- 前記光源システムはアクロマティックコリメータをさらに備え、前記アクロマティックコリメータの入力端が前記非線形光学結晶アレイの前記出力端に接続され、前記アクロマティックコリメータが、前記非線形光学結晶アレイによって出力されたビームをコリメートするように構成される、請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の光源システム。
- 前記光源システムはフィルタをさらに備え、前記フィルタが前記非線形光学結晶アレイの前記出力端に配置され、前記フィルタが、前記非線形光学結晶アレイによって出力された前記単一モードガウスビームにフィルタをかけるように構成される、請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の光源システム。
- 投影対物レンズおよび請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の光源システムを備えるレーザ投影表示装置であって、前記光源システムの出力端が前記投影対物レンズに接続され、前記投影対物レンズが、前記光源システムによって出力された同軸可視ガウスレーザビームを投影表示スクリーンに伝送するように構成される、レーザ投影表示装置。
