カートリッジジョーであって、
カートリッジ組織圧縮表面と、
第1の横方向カートリッジ側面と、
第2の横方向カートリッジ側面と、
第1のステープルキャビティの長手方向列と、
第2のステープルキャビティの長手方向列と、
前記ステープルキャビティ内に取り外し可能に格納されたステープルと、
前記第1の横方向カートリッジ側面に沿って前記カートリッジ組織圧縮表面から上向きに延在する第1のカートリッジ組織停止部と、
前記第2の横方向カートリッジ側面に沿って前記カートリッジ組織圧縮表面から上向きに延在する第2のカートリッジ組織停止部と、を備える、カートリッジジョーと、
開放位置と完全クランプ位置との間で前記カートリッジジョーに対して回転可能なアンビルジョーであって、
アンビル組織圧縮表面と、
前記第2のジョーが前記完全クランプ位置にあるときに、前記ステープルキャビティと位置合わせされるステープル成形ポケットの長手方向列と、
第1の横方向アンビル側面と、
第2の横方向アンビル側面と、

(18) 前記カートリッジジョーの少なくとも一部分は交換可能である、実施態様17に記載の外科用ステープル留め器具。

第1のジョーであって、
第1の組織圧縮表面と、
第1の横方向側面と、
第2の横方向側面と、を備える、第1のジョーと、
開放位置と完全クランプ位置との間で前記第1のジョーに対して回転可能な第2のジョーであって、
第2の組織圧縮表面と、
前記第1のジョーに対して下向きに延在する第1の組織停止部であって、前記第2のジョーが前記開放位置及び前記完全クランプ位置にあるときに、前記第1の組織圧縮表面の下方に延在する第1の遠位縁部を備える、第1の組織停止部と、

- 外科用ステープル留め器具であって、
カートリッジジョーであって、
カートリッジ組織圧縮表面と、
前記カートリッジジョーの横方向側面の一方である第1の横方向カートリッジ側面と、
前記カートリッジジョーの横方向側面の他方である第2の横方向カートリッジ側面と、
複数のステープルキャビティが長手方向に並んだ第1のステープルキャビティの長手方向列と、
複数のステープルキャビティが長手方向に並んだ第2のステープルキャビティの長手方向列と、
前記ステープルキャビティ内に取り外し可能に格納されたステープルと、
前記第1の横方向カートリッジ側面に沿って前記カートリッジ組織圧縮表面から上向きに延在する第1のカートリッジ組織停止部と、
前記第2の横方向カートリッジ側面に沿って前記カートリッジ組織圧縮表面から上向きに延在する第2のカートリッジ組織停止部と、を備える、カートリッジジョーと、
開放位置と完全クランプ位置との間で前記カートリッジジョーに対して回転可能なアンビルジョーであって、
アンビル組織圧縮表面と、
前記アンビルジョーが前記完全クランプ位置にあるときに、前記ステープルキャビティと位置合わせされるステープル成形ポケットの長手方向列と、
第1の横方向アンビル側面と、
第2の横方向アンビル側面と、
前記第1の横方向アンビル側面から前記カートリッジジョーに対して下向きに延在する第1のアンビル組織停止部であって、前記アンビルジョーが前記開放位置及び前記完全クランプ位置にあるときに、前記カートリッジ組織圧縮表面の下方に延在する第1の底縁部を備える、第1のアンビル組織停止部と、
前記第2の横方向アンビル側面から前記カートリッジジョーに対して下向きに延在する第2のアンビル組織停止部であって、前記アンビルジョーが前記開放位置及び前記完全クランプ位置にあるときに、前記カートリッジ組織圧縮表面の下方に延在する第2の底縁部を備える、第2のアンビル組織停止部と、を備える、アンビルジョーと、を備え、
前記第1のアンビル組織停止部は前記第1のカートリッジ組織停止部に対して横方向に位置付けられ、前記第2のアンビル組織停止部は前記第2のカートリッジ組織停止部に対して横方向に位置付けられ、
前記第1のステープルキャビティの長手方向列は、長手方向に並んだ前記複数のステープルキャビティのうちの最も近位に位置する、第1の最近位ステープルキャビティを含み、前記第2のステープルキャビティの長手方向列は、長手方向に並んだ前記複数のステープルキャビティのうちの最も近位に位置する、第2の最近位ステープルキャビティを含み、
前記第1の最近位ステープルキャビティは、前記第1のカートリッジ組織停止部及び前記第1のアンビル組織停止部に対して少なくとも部分的に近位側に延在し、前記第2の最近位ステープルキャビティは、前記第2のカートリッジ組織停止部及び前記第2のアンビル組織停止部に対して少なくとも部分的に近位側に延在し、
横方向から見た際に、前記アンビルジョーの運動範囲の全体にわたって、前記第1のカートリッジ組織停止部と前記第1のアンビル組織停止部との間、及び、前記第2のカートリッジ組織停止部と前記第2のアンビル組織停止部との間に重なり合いが存在し、
ステープルカートリッジから前記ステープルを排出するために、発射ストローク中に未発射位置から発射位置に向かって遠位側に移動可能な発射部材を更に備え、
前記アンビルジョーは、前記アンビルジョーが前記開放位置にあるときに、前記発射部材の遠位前進を阻止し、前記発射部材を前記未発射位置に保持するように構成された停止部を備え、
前記停止部は、前記アンビルジョーが前記完全クランプ位置にあるときに、前記発射部材が前記発射ストロークを実施することを可能にするように、且つ、前記アンビルジョーが前記開放位置へと開放されているときに、前記発射部材を前記未発射位置へと近位側に移動させるように構成されている、外科用ステープル留め器具。 - 前記発射部材に形成されたロックアウトタブと、前記カートリッジジョーの底部に画定された肩部と、を備え、前記発射部材が前記未発射位置にある場合に前記発射部材が前記肩部の上に持ち上げられることで前記肩部と前記ロックアウトタブとが接触しないことにより、前記発射部材の発射ストロークを可能とさせるように構成されたロックアウトを備える、請求項1に記載の外科用ステープル留め器具。
- 前記第1の底縁部は、前記アンビルジョーが前記開放位置及び前記完全クランプ位置にあるときに、前記第1のカートリッジ組織停止部の下方に延在し、前記第2の底縁部は、前記アンビルジョーが前記開放位置及び前記完全クランプ位置にあるときに、前記第2のカートリッジ組織停止部の下方に延在する、請求項1に記載の外科用ステープル留め器具。
- 前記第1のアンビル組織停止部は、前記第1の底縁部と前記アンビル組織圧縮表面との間に延在する第1の角度付き部分を備え、前記第2のアンビル組織停止部は、前記第2の底縁部と前記アンビル組織圧縮表面との間に延在する第2の角度付き部分を備える、請求項1に記載の外科用ステープル留め器具。
- 前記第1の最近位ステープルキャビティは前記第1のアンビル組織停止部に対して全体的に近位側に延在し、前記第2の最近位ステープルキャビティは前記第2のアンビル組織停止部に対して全体的に近位側に延在する、請求項1に記載の外科用ステープル留め器具。
- 前記第1の最近位ステープルキャビティは、前記第2の最近位ステープルキャビティに対して少なくとも部分的に近位側に延在する、請求項5に記載の外科用ステープル留め器具。
- 前記発射部材は、前記発射ストローク中に前記カートリッジジョーの長手方向カム表面と長手方向にスライド可能に係合するように構成された第1のカムを備え、また前記発射部材は、前記発射ストローク中に前記アンビルジョーの長手方向カム表面と長手方向にスライド可能に係合するように構成された第2のカムを更に備える、請求項1に記載の外科用ステープル留め器具。
- 前記アンビルジョーは、前記発射部材が前記未発射位置にあるときに前記第2のカムを受容するように構成されたクリアランス開口部を備える、請求項7に記載の外科用ステープル留め器具。
- 前記停止部は、前記クリアランス開口部に対して遠位側に位置付けられている、請求項8に記載の外科用ステープル留め器具。
- 前記停止部は、前記第1のアンビル組織停止部の遠位縁部及び前記第2のアンビル組織停止部の遠位縁部に対して近位側に位置付けられている、請求項1に記載の外科用ステープル留め器具。
- 前記発射部材は組織切断縁部を備え、前記組織切断縁部は、前記発射部材が前記未発射位置にあるときに、前記第1のアンビル組織停止部及び前記第2のアンビル組織停止部の遠位縁部に対して近位側に位置付けられている、請求項1に記載の外科用ステープル留め器具。
- 前記カートリッジジョーの少なくとも一部分は交換可能である、請求項1に記載の外科用ステープル留め器具。
