Claims (16)
- 誘導加熱装置を備える電子蒸気吸入器を作動する方法であって、前記誘導加熱装置は、誘導加熱可能要素を加熱し、それによって非液体香味放出媒体を加熱するために、交番電磁場を発生させるための誘導コイルを備え、前記方法は、前記誘導加熱可能要素のパルス状の加熱および冷却を提供する断続的な交番電磁場を発生させるために、前記誘導コイルを断続的に励磁することを含み、
前記誘導加熱可能要素のパルス状の加熱および冷却は、前記電子蒸気吸入器を使用してユーザが一連の吸引を行うのを可能にするために、前記非液体香味放出媒体の少なくとも局部領域の温度が、前記誘導加熱装置が始動された後に前記ユーザが最初の吸引を行うのに適切な動作温度に上昇する始動段階である第1動作段階を含む、作動方法。 - 前記方法が、前記誘導コイルに供給される電力のパルス周波数および/またはパルス振幅および/またはデューティサイクルを変化させることを含む、請求項1記載の作動方法。
- 前記動作温度は、下限が150℃~200℃であり上限が200℃~250℃である動作温度範囲内の温度である、請求項1または2記載の作動方法。
- 前記動作温度範囲が、180℃~240℃である、請求項3記載の作動方法。
- 前記第1動作段階は、所定の継続時間を有する、請求項3または4記載の作動方法。
- 前記第1動作段階の継続時間が10秒を超えない、請求項5記載の作動方法。
- 前記継続時間が5秒を超えない、請求項6記載の作動方法。
- 前記方法は、前記非液体香味放出媒体の平均温度を前記動作温度の範囲内で維持するための、前記誘導加熱可能要素のパルス状の加熱および冷却を提供する断続的な交番電磁場を発生させるために、前記誘導コイルが断続的に励磁される第2動作段階を含む、請求項1~7のいずれか1項記載の作動方法。
- 前記交番電磁場の強度は、前記第1動作段階の間よりも前記第2動作段階の間の方が低い、請求項8記載の作動方法。
- 前記第2動作段階の間、前記誘導コイルがユーザの要求に基づいて断続的に励磁される、請求項8または9記載の作動方法。
- 前記方法は、ユーザによる吸引が差し迫っている、または実際に行われていることを検出手段で検出し、前記検出手段から信号を受信すると前記誘導コイルへと供給されるエネルギーを増加させることを含む、請求項10記載の作動方法。
- 前記検出手段は、ユーザによる唇への移動を検出するための加速度計、マウスピースがユーザの唇に接触するときにそれを検出するための、マウスピースに備え付けられる静電容量センサ、または、ユーザがマウスピースを通して実際に吸引しているときにそれを検出するための流量計/流量スイッチを備える、請求項11記載の作動方法。
- 前記誘導コイルが、所定の加熱プロファイルに従って断続的に励磁される、請求項1~12のいずれか1項に記載の作動方法。
- 前記所定の加熱プロファイルがユーザによって選択可能である、請求項13記載の作動方法。
- 前記所定の加熱プロファイルが、前記非液体香味放出媒体に関連する、検出される特性に基づいて自動的に選択される、請求項13または14記載の作動方法。
- 請求項1~15のいずれか1項に記載の作動方法に従って、前記誘導加熱装置の動作を制御するように構成される電子蒸気吸入器。
