Abstract

Description

To provide a lateral position automatic turning nursing bed which allows a patient to excrete and take a shower, wash and dry the buttocks and a mat around the buttocks after excretion, and dry the body and the mat after a shower.

Dealing with excretion, bathing, and preventing bedsores for physically disabled people who require care are difficult problems that cause pain and burden in the field of care, and many stakeholders have made various proposals to solve these three major issues.

There are many different types of nursing beds that can be transformed into a chair, with the buttocks part of the mat opening and closing to become a toilet seat, allowing the patient to defecate into a flush toilet or similar device located below and clean themselves.

There are also special nursing beds for bathing that automatically cleanse the body by spraying cleaning water onto it, with only the face exposed and covered by a splash-proof cover.

The above-mentioned beds with excretion cleansing, shower-friendly beds, and automatic turning-support beds are all excellent, but many people find it inconvenient that they can only address the three important issues of excretion disposal, bathing, and bedsore prevention individually.

Furthermore, with the aging of society accelerating, in order to solve these three important issues, economic efficiency cannot be ignored; therefore, it will be important in the field of nursing care going forward to improve simplicity and multi-functionality.

In consideration of these circumstances, the present invention has realized a side-lying automatic turning bed that is equipped with an excretion cleaning function that makes it possible to eliminate the need for diapers, and also allows for showering, thereby solving three important problems with a single bed.

Means for solving the problem

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention provides a bed mechanism for enabling excretion, in which the back of the bed is raised and the mattress, consisting of three parts, the back side, the buttocks side (17) and the foot side, is bent in an L-shape in the middle of the foot side mattress, and the knees are raised and the feet are lowered to change into a chair shape, and the bed is equipped with a washing hot water spray device and a warm air drying air generator.

As a third solution, the bed is supported by a bed-tilting frame (6) on which a mat and a mat base plate (23) fitted with a fall prevention device (13) are placed, and the bed is supported by bed-tilting frame supports (7) at the front and rear of the bed so that the bed can be tilted to the left or right around the longitudinal center line of the bed as an axis. The mat (16) around the center of the buttocks is fitted into the upper part of the compressed and narrowed cylinder (31). The fifth problem-solving means works by shifting the lifting and return operating fulcrum (5) and attaching it to the mattress-tilting frame (6) with a gap between them, so that when the bed-back raising operation is started, a pushing force is generated in the direction of the foot-side mattress based on the lifting and return operating fulcrum, but since the valley bend in the middle of the floorboard of the foot-side mattress is not yet activated, the connecting parts of the floorboards of the buttocks and foot-side mattresses rise first, allowing the foot-lowering and lifting operation to be performed smoothly. Also, when the mattress is bent vertically into an L-shape or an inverted L-shape, the body on the bed in the lateral position is gently supported by the fall prevention device (12) with the evenly placed shock absorber (28), preventing accidents of falling or lying face down, and preventing accidents of being pinched when the bed is raised or lowered.

The action of the sixth problem-solving means is that the part of the mat that corresponds to the toilet seat does not descend and supports the body, and the floor plate (3) of the mat adjacent to the cleft-like gap descends, so even if the cleft-like gap is opened during excretion, the surface of the mat does not come into contact with the area around the excrement outlet of the bed user's body, so there is no pain or itching, and the part of the mat in the center of the buttocks (4), i.e. the cleft-like gap, opens smoothly without resistance. Also, the mechanism for opening the cleft-like gap during excretion, washing, and preventing hot and cold water from splashing is simplified, improving convenience and cleanliness.

The effect of the seventh problem-solving means is that excretion washing and drying, and showering and drying can be easily performed, which supports humidity control and places the care recipient in a clean and comfortable environment.

Effect of the invention

As described above, by using the nursing bed of the present invention and combining it with existing water-resistant mesh sheets, it becomes possible to easily perform excretion, showering, and prevent bedsores in one bed without moving between the bed and outside, reducing the burden on both the care recipient and the caregivers, and solving three important problems that greatly trouble caregivers and related parties. Furthermore, if the nursing bed of the present invention is used, it is not necessarily necessary to use diapers, and by using existing nursing pants with holes and eliminating diapers, it can greatly contribute to cost reduction.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS Hereinafter, a mode for carrying out the invention will be described based on an embodiment with reference to the drawings.

A lifting and returning fulcrum (5) is provided at a position shifted a certain distance toward the floorboard of the back-side mattress part from the bent part of the floorboard of both the back-side and buttock-side mattress parts (17), and the fulcrum part is attached to the mounting base of the mattress-tilting frame (6). A recess is provided in the upper part of the mattress-tilting frame (6) near the foot side so that the mattress of the bed can be lifted up and down by the actuator and the reciprocating U-shaped members (18) and links (19 ) , and the foot side can be lowered. Also, a bulge is provided in the safety cover (10) so that the foot-side mattress part can be bent in a lateral valley fold in the middle of the mattress. See Figure 1 or Figure 3 and Figures 6 to 8.

In addition, although a diaper or underwear pants may be worn, in order to eliminate the troublesome task of putting on and taking off diapers or underwear pants, the mat is made of a water-resistant, soft, elastic material so that it can be used without wearing diapers or underwear pants with holes around the existing body waste outlet, and the mat (16) around the center of the buttocks, including the part corresponding to the toilet seat, is removable and replaceable, and each mat has multiple holes except for the outer periphery and fixed part , and the mat base plate (23) also has multiple holes. The mat is not a one-piece unit, but rather mats of an easy-to- manufacture size or size suitable for the mat may be laid out and attached to the mat base plate (23), making it possible to use commercially available products and reducing costs. The mat (16) around the buttocks center refers to the mat that covers both the floor plate (3) of the mat adjacent to the cleft and the floor plate of the mat part (17) on the buttocks side, including the part corresponding to the toilet seat. See Figures 1, 2, 4 and 5.

Next, a hole (1) for excretion narrower than that of a normal flush toilet is provided in the floor plate (3) of the mat at a portion adjacent to the cleft-like gap , so that the effect of excretion and the jet washing after excretion are not hindered. A cylinder (31) having elasticity and compressed in a cleft shape is fitted into the hole, and one end is attached to the floor plate (3) of the mat at a portion adjacent to the cleft-like gap with an assembly member (15). The mat (16) at the peripheral portion of the center of the buttocks is fitted to the upper portion. The compressed cylinder is pulled automatically or manually using a wire or rod puller (2) from the opposite side of the attachment side, so that the cleft-like gap (4) is expanded and opened. Furthermore, a plurality of excretion washing hot water jet nozzles and hot air dry air blowing nozzles are arranged around the cleft-like gap toward the body waste outlet and the portion of the mat at the center of the buttocks (4). See Figure 2 or Figure 4 and Figures 6 to 10.

Then, prior to the opening of the cleft-like gap (4) during excretion, when the back side mat part rises a certain amount when the back of the bed is raised, the extension arm part (25) of the back side mat part floor plate and the connecting member (26) of the foot side mat part floor plate are linked and lowered. Using this, the mechanism connects these to the floor plate (3) of the mat adjacent to the cleft-like gap and pushes it down, so that the part of the mat that corresponds to the toilet seat does not lower and supports the body, and the part of the mat at the center of the buttocks (4) lowers. In this case, an actuator for opening the cleft-like gap (4) may be used in combination to push it down regardless of the back side being raised or lowered. See Figures 7, 8, and 9.

The bed is supported by two bedside-tilting frame supports (7) at the head and foot of the bed so that the bedside-tilting frame (6) on which the bed base plate (23) with the mattress and fall-off prevention device (13) is placed is tilted left or right around the center line of the bed in the vertical direction, so that the bed base plate repeats the motion of tilting left or right and falling and returning to the horizontal position. The bedside-tilting frame (6) is made of a framework so that the shower cleaning water can quickly fall and pass through. See Figures 1 and 2 or 4.

The fall prevention device (13) of the mat base plate (23) here is designed to be attached and fitted to the underside of the mat base plate of both the back and foot sides of the mat and the upper part of the mat side-tilting frame (6) facing it by combining the concave and convex parts , respectively. See Figures 7 and 8.

Next, a curved safety cover (10) is installed in accordance with the sideways tilting motion of the mat sideways tilting frame (6), and multiple arched bending profiling rails (8) for bending the mat base plate and the mat vertically and horizontally along the cover are installed at required positions . See Figure 2 or Figure 3.

When the mat base plate (23) returns to the horizontal position by the return operation and the interference of the bent profiling rail (8) is released, the repulsive force of the resilient member (22) installed along the valley bend line (9) in the vertical direction of the bed, combined with gravity, ensures that the mat returns to the flat state from the bent state. Also, the mat-tilting frame (6) is crank-shaped so that the height of the mat and the center point of the bent state are at about the same height to prevent large swings during the bent state. See Figures 2 or 3 and 6 to 8.

In addition, a plurality of hot and dry air blowing ports or nozzles are arranged around the mat base plate toward the mat and the body on the bed, and a plurality of interference stoppers (14) for the bending profiling rail (8) are provided at required positions on both the left and right lateral ends of the mat base plate. A hinge is provided on the lateral end (21) of the mat base plate to which a fence-like fall prevention device (12) that also serves as a handrail and can be removed when transferring to the bed is attached, so that it can move vertically in a valley-like manner separately from the mat base plate (23), and a resilient member (22) is installed along the bending line (9). Furthermore, an over-approach prevention device (20) is attached to the fall prevention device (12), so that when the mat rises and falls and bends laterally, a part of the fall prevention device (12) is pushed by the over-approach prevention device (20) and contracts to maintain a certain distance. See Figure 2 or Figures 6 to 8.

Furthermore, in the same way that the mattress-tilting frame (6) is tilted and the rotating interference stopper (14) of the mattress base plate (23) interferes with the bending trace rail (8) to make a valley bend (9) at a specific position in the vertical direction of the mattress, the protruding interference stopper (14) provided on the lateral end (21) of the mattress base plate to which the handrail-like fall prevention device (12) is attached interferes with the bending trace rail (8) to change the angle of the fall prevention device, so that when the mattress is tilted, the fall prevention device (12) is tilted toward the bed user and brought closer to the body. The fall prevention device (12) is equipped with a cushion shock absorber (28). In this case, it is not necessarily necessary to change the protection angle of the fall prevention device on the foot side of the mattress. Also, in the same way as in the case of widening a cleft-shaped gap, the pull tool (2) may be used to pull the interference stopper (14) at the lateral end (21) of the mat floor board to which the fall prevention device is attached by an actuator, thereby changing the protection angle of the fall prevention device (12). See Figure 2 or Figures 3 to 6.

Furthermore, the mat-laying frame (6) is provided with an actuator for laying the mat and opening the cleft-like gap (4) and a waterproof cover to provide a laying and opening mechanism, and the laying frame support base (7) is provided with an actuator for laying the mat and a laying mechanism. See Figures 4, 6 and 8.

Next to the horizontally-tilted frame support (7), an excrement washing water jetting device and a warm air drying air generating and blowing device (24) are installed, and the excrement washing water and shower wastewater are received under the safety cover (10) and discharged outside the bed, so that they can be connected to a septic tank or a flush toilet depending on the situation. And for showering, hot water from the hot water heater is used. See Figure 6.

The nursing bed according to the present invention can be mass-produced industrially and has industrial applicability.

Claims (1)

1) A bed mechanism was created in which the back is raised and the mattress, which consists of three matting sections for the back, buttocks and feet, is bent horizontally in an L-shape in the middle of the mattress section for the feet, and the knees are raised and the feet are lowered to change into a chair shape for excretion, and a cleaning water spraying device and a warm air drying air generating device are provided.
2) The mat is made of a water-resistant, flexible, elastic material and has multiple holes except around the outer periphery and fixed parts. The mat base also has multiple holes. The mat around the center of the buttocks, including the area that corresponds to the toilet seat, is removable, and a cleft-like gap is provided in the part of the mat in the center of the buttocks that corresponds to the position where excrement is discharged.
3) The bed has a mattress and a mattress base plate with anti-fall-off devices mounted on it. The mattress-tilting frame is supported by tiltable frame supports at the front and rear of the bed, and can be tilted to the left or right around the longitudinal center line of the bed. A curved safety cover is provided to accommodate this tilting motion, and multiple curved tracking rails are installed along the cover.
4) Almost at the same time as the mattress starts to tilt, its lateral end interferes with the bending profiling rail, bending the vertical valley bend of the bed which corresponds to the position of the arms of a body lying on the bed, and tilts to follow the shape of the rail and falls sideways. Furthermore, an over-approach prevention device is attached to the fall prevention device. When the bed rises and falls and bends laterally, the over-approach prevention device pushes against the adjacent fall prevention device which it is approaching, causing part of it to shrink, thereby preventing interference.
6) A hole for excretion is provided in the floorboard of the mat adjacent to the cleft-like gap which is separated from and flexibly connected to the floorboard of the mat portion on the buttocks side, a cleft-shaped compressed and narrowed cylinder is fitted into it and attached to the mat floorboard with an assembly member, the mat around the center of the buttocks is fitted into the top of the compressed and narrowed cylinder, and after the mat floorboard is pressed down, force is applied from one or both directions to spread the compressed and narrowed cylinder, expanding it together with the fitted mat around the center of the buttocks to open the cleft-like gap, creating a cleaning water splash prevention cover that also serves as an opening and closing door for excretion.
7) A nursing bed with automatic turning over in a lateral position, characterized in that a plurality of cleaning water injection nozzles and warm air dry air outlets or spray nozzles are arranged around the cleft-like gaps toward the body waste outlet and the area around the central part of the mat, a plurality of warm air dry air outlets or spray nozzles are arranged around the base of the mat toward the body and mat on the bed, the mat-tilting frame is equipped with an actuator for raising and lowering the mat and for opening the cleft-like gaps and a waterproof cover to provide a raising and opening mechanism, the mat-tilting frame support base supporting the mat-tilting frame is equipped with an actuator for turning over and a turning mechanism, and the safety cover serves to collect the shower cleaning water and prevent splashing, allowing excretion and a shower, washing and drying the area around the body waste outlet and the area around the central part of the mat after excretion, and allowing the body and mat to be dried after a shower.
