Description
The present invention relates to an absorbent article.
There is known an absorbent article that includes a fastening tape and a fastening member to which the fastening tape can be attached. Such an absorbent article is fixed around the waist of a wearer by arranging both longitudinal ends of the absorbent article so as to face each other at the front and rear, and fastening the fastening tape and the fastening member to be attached.
For example,
Also known is an absorbent article in which a fastening tape is attached to a sheet forming the outer surface of the absorbent article.
For example,
The fastening member for fastening the fastening tape is generally provided on the outer surface of the absorbent article using an adhesive. In order to stably maintain the wearing state of an absorbent article equipped with a fastening tape and a fastening member, it is desired that the fastening tape and the fastening member have a high engagement force and that the fastening member is securely fixed to the outer surface of the absorbent article. However, if too much adhesive is used from the viewpoint of fixing the fastening member, there is a risk of a decrease in quality, such as an increase in production costs, a decrease in the texture of the outer surface of the absorbent article, and a strong odor of the adhesive. The absorbent article described in
Therefore, the objective of the present invention is to provide an absorbent article that can stably fix a fastening member to the outer surface of the absorbent article and that also takes into consideration the texture.
The present invention relates to an absorbent article having a vertical direction corresponding to the front-to-back direction of a wearer and a horizontal direction perpendicular to the vertical direction, and having a crotch portion arranged in the crotch area of the wearer, as well as a ventral side portion and a dorsal side portion extending in front and behind the crotch portion, and comprising a fastening tape provided on both side edges along the vertical direction of the dorsal side portion, and a fastening member provided on the non-skin-facing surface of the ventral side portion and capable of fastening the fastening tape.
The outer sheet forming the non-skin facing surface of the abdominal portion preferably has a flat fiber-containing region in which flat fibers are present at least on the surface on the non-skin facing surface side.
It is preferable that the fastening member has a first surface to which the fastening tape is fastened and a second surface opposite the first surface, the second surface having a higher surface contact area ratio than the first surface, and the second surface being adhered to the flat fiber-containing region.
The absorbent article of the present invention can ensure the engagement force between the fastening tape and the fastening member, while achieving both the adhesiveness of the fastening member on the outer surface of the absorbent article and the texture of the absorbent article.
The absorbent article of the present invention will be described below based on its preferred embodiments. Figures 1 to 4 show an open-type disposable diaper (hereinafter, also simply referred to as a "diaper"), which is one embodiment of the absorbent article of the present invention.

In this specification, the "unfolded and stretched state" of the
Furthermore, the "skin-facing side" refers to the side of the diaper or its constituent parts (e.g., absorbent body) that faces the wearer's skin when the diaper is worn, and the "non-skin-facing side" refers to the side that faces away from the wearer's skin when the diaper is worn. In other words, the skin-facing side is the side that is relatively close to the wearer's skin, and the non-skin-facing side is the side that is relatively far from the wearer's skin. "When worn" and "worn state" refer to a state in which the diaper is worn while maintaining the proper wearing position.

The
A flat fiber is a fiber whose cross-sectional flatness (long axis length/short axis length) is 1.2 or more. For example, when the cross-section of a fiber is a perfect circle, the flatness is 1, and as the cross-section becomes more crushed (approaching an ellipse), the flatness becomes greater than 1.

Methods for obtaining flat fibers, i.e., fibers with a large degree of cross-sectional crushing, include known methods such as 1) a method of spinning using a spinneret having an aspect ratio corresponding to the desired aspect ratio, and 2) a method of subjecting a pile of fibers obtained using a normal spinneret (having a cross-section in a perfect circular shape or a shape equivalent thereto) to post-processing such as pressurization. The aspect ratio of the spinneret in the method 1) may be the same as the aspect ratio of the target fiber, or may be higher than the aspect ratio of the target fiber.
The method 2) is preferred from the viewpoint of reliably orienting the long axis direction of the flat fibers in the planar direction of the nonwoven fabric and further improving the adhesiveness of the

As shown in FIG. 4, the

For the
[Adhesion between outer sheet and fastening member]
The adhesiveness of the outer layer sheet and the fastening member of each Example and Comparative Example was evaluated by the following method. First, an adhesive [a rubber-based (styrene-butadiene-based) general-purpose hot melt adhesive, used amount 20 g/m 2 ] that had been applied in advance to a release paper was transferred to the second surface (adhesive surface) of the fastening member, and the fastening member was placed on the flat fiber-containing region R of the outer layer sheet with the adhesive surface facing down. Next, a 1 kg roller was reciprocated three times on the fastening member to fix the fastening member to the outer layer sheet. Next, a measuring piece with a width of 3 cm and a length of 3 cm was cut out from the part where the fastening member and the outer layer sheet were adhered, and the edge of the outer layer sheet in the measuring piece was clamped with a clip and connected to a push-pull gauge (RX-20, manufactured by Aiko Engineering Co., Ltd.). Next, the push-pull gauge was pulled until the fastening member was peeled off from the outer layer sheet, and the peel strength between the fastening member and the outer layer sheet was measured. Then, the adhesiveness between the outer layer sheet and the fastening member was evaluated according to the following criteria.
A: The peel strength is 0.4 N or more.
B: The peel strength is less than 0.4N.
From the viewpoint of preventing the influence of breakage of the sheet, in the above evaluation of adhesion, the fastening member and the outer sheet are bonded with an adhesive strength lower than the actual adhesive strength in the diaper. When the peel strength is 0.4 N or more, it is an indication that the adhesion between the outer sheet and the fastening member in the diaper is sufficient. The evaluation results are shown in Table 1.
[Engagement force between fastening tape and fastening member]
The
A: The engagement strength is 2.0 N or more.
B: The engagement strength is less than 2.0 N.
As shown in Table 1, in each example, the peel strength between the outer layer sheet and the fastening member was 0.4 N or more, and the engagement strength between the fastening tape and the fastening member was 2.0 N or more. This result shows that the composite member of each example has excellent adhesion between the outer layer sheet and the fastening member while ensuring the engagement force between the fastening tape and the fastening member. In each example, the adhesion between the outer layer sheet and the fastening member is excellent even without using a large amount of adhesive, so the texture of the outer layer sheet can be well maintained. On the other hand, in each comparative example, the evaluation of either or both of the adhesion between the outer layer sheet and the fastening member and the engagement force between the fastening tape and the fastening member was low.
