Description
光源および検出器は、貯蔵区画の上部と底部の間の貯蔵区画の側壁に隣接していてもよい。
Claims (19)
- エアロゾル発生システムであって、
エアロゾル形成基体を含む液体組成物を含有するように構成された貯蔵区画を備えるカートリッジと、
前記カートリッジを受容するように構成されたエアロゾル発生装置であって、電源および、前記電源に動作可能に結合された制御電子機器を備えるエアロゾル発生装置と、
前記制御電子機器に動作可能に結合され、光を前記カートリッジの前記貯蔵区画の中に放射するように位置付けられ、配向されている光源であって、前記光源から放射される光が前記液体組成物によって吸収される光源と、
前記制御電子機器に動作可能に結合され、前記光源から放射される光を検出するように位置付けられ、配向されている検出器と、を備え、
前記光源および前記検出器の両方が、前記貯蔵区画の同じ側に隣接して位置しており、前記光源の反対側の前記貯蔵区画の表面が、前記光源から前記貯蔵区画の中に放射される光を吸収するように構成されている、エアロゾル発生システム。 - 前記制御電子機器が、前記カートリッジの前記貯蔵区画中の前記液体組成物の充填レベルを決定するように構成されているか、または前記制御電子機器が、前記貯蔵区画中の前記液体組成物の前記充填レベルを決定するために、前記検出器によって検出された信号に関するデータを別の装置に送信するように構成されている、請求項1に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 前記カートリッジが前記光源および前記検出器を備え、
前記エアロゾル発生装置が前記光源および前記検出器を備え、
前記カートリッジが前記光源を備え、前記エアロゾル発生装置が前記検出器を備える、または
前記カートリッジが前記検出器を備え、前記エアロゾル発生装置が前記光源を備える、請求項1または2に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。 - 前記カートリッジが前記光源を備える時、前記カートリッジが前記光源に動作可能に結合された外部電気接点をさらに備え、前記エアロゾル発生装置が前記制御電子機器に動作可能に結合された接点を備え、前記エアロゾル発生装置の前記接点および前記カートリッジの前記外部電気接点が、前記カートリッジが前記エアロゾル発生装置によって受容された時に電気的に結合されるように構成されており、
前記カートリッジが前記検出器を備える時、前記カートリッジが前記検出器に動作可能に結合された外部電気接点をさらに備え、前記エアロゾル発生装置が前記制御電子機器に動作可能に結合された接点を備え、前記エアロゾル発生装置の前記接点および前記カートリッジの前記外部電気接点が、前記カートリッジが前記エアロゾル発生装置によって受容された時に電気的に結合されるように構成されている、請求項3に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。 - 前記エアロゾル発生装置が前記光源を備える時、前記カートリッジが前記光に対して透明な材料の窓を備え、前記材料が前記貯蔵区画の内表面から前記カートリッジの外部表面に延び、前記光源が、前記カートリッジが前記エアロゾル発生装置によって受容された時に前記窓と整列しており、
前記エアロゾル発生装置が前記検出器を備える時、前記カートリッジが前記光に対して透明な材料の窓を備え、前記材料が前記貯蔵区画の内表面から前記カートリッジの外部表面に延び、前記検出器が、前記カートリッジが前記エアロゾル発生装置によって受容された時に前記窓と整列している、請求項3または請求項4に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。 - 前記カートリッジの前記貯蔵区画が、前記貯蔵区画の底部から前記貯蔵区画の上部に延びる長さを有し、前記光源および前記検出器が前記貯蔵区画の前記底部に隣接している、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 前記カートリッジの前記貯蔵区画が、前記貯蔵区画の底部から前記貯蔵区画の上部に延びる長さを有し、前記光源および前記検出器のうちの一つが前記貯蔵区画の前記底部に隣接しており、前記光源および前記検出器のうちのもう一方が前記貯蔵区画の前記上部に隣接している、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 前記検出器が、前記貯蔵区画内の前記光を前記検出器の表面に方向付けるように構成された光ガイドを備える、請求項7に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 前記貯蔵区画が、前記貯蔵区画の前記底部から前記上部に延びる側壁を備え、前記側壁の内部表面が前記光源から放射される前記光を反射する、請求項7または請求項8に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 前記貯蔵区画が、前記貯蔵区画の底部から前記貯蔵区画の上部に延びる長さを有し、前記光源および前記検出器が前記貯蔵区画の前記上部と前記底部の間の側壁に隣接している、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 前記光源が複数の光源のうちの一つであり、前記検出器が複数の検出器のうちの一つであり、前記光源および検出器のそれぞれが前記制御電子機器に動作可能に結合されており、前記複数の光源および検出器が、前記貯蔵区画の長軸方向軸に対して実質的に横断的に前記貯蔵区画の周辺の周りに配置されている、請求項10に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 前記制御電子機器が、前記貯蔵区画の前記液体組成物中に浸漬された光源と検出器の対を検出するように構成されている、請求項11に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 前記制御電子機器に動作可能に結合された慣性センサーをさらに備える、請求項1~12のいずれか一項に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 前記制御電子機器が、前記検出器からのデータおよび前記慣性センサーからのデータに基づいて、前記カートリッジの前記貯蔵区画中の前記液体組成物の充填レベルを決定するように構成されている、請求項13に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 前記エアロゾル発生装置が所定の配向にあることを慣性センサーが示す時、前記光源および前記検出器を起動するように前記制御電子機器が構成されている、請求項13または14に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 請求項1~15のいずれか一項に記載のエアロゾル発生システムを使用する方法であって、前記エアロゾル発生装置を垂直で底部を上にした配向に反転させる工程を含み、それによって前記エアロゾル発生装置が、前記貯蔵区画が空であるか、または少量の液体組成物が前記貯蔵区画に残っているかを検証することを可能にする、方法。
- 前記方法が、前記エアロゾル発生装置を反転させる前記工程を開始するための指示をユーザーに提供することを含む、請求項16に記載の方法。
- エアロゾル発生装置であって、
電源と、
前記電源に動作可能に結合された制御電子機器と、
エアロゾル形成基体を含む液体組成物を含有する貯蔵区画を有するカートリッジを受容するように構成されたレセプタクルと、
前記制御電子機器に動作可能に結合され、かつ前記カートリッジの前記貯蔵区画の中に光を放射するように位置付けられ、配向されている光源と、
前記制御電子機器に動作可能に結合され、かつ前記光が前記貯蔵区画に入った後に前記光源から放射される前記光を検出するように位置付けられ、配向されている検出器と、を備え、
カートリッジが前記レセプタクル内に受容された時、前記光源および前記検出器の両方がカートリッジの貯蔵区画の同じ側に隣接して位置するように構成され、前記光源の反対側の前記貯蔵区画の表面が、前記光源から前記貯蔵区画の中に放射される光を吸収するように構成されている、エアロゾル発生装置。 - エアロゾル発生装置で使用するためのカートリッジであって、
エアロゾル形成基体を含む液体組成物を収容するための貯蔵区画と、
前記貯蔵区画の中に光を放射するように位置付けられ、配向されている光源と、
前記光源に動作可能に結合された第一の接点であって、前記カートリッジがエアロゾル発生装置に受容された時に、前記エアロゾル発生装置の対応する第一の接点への電気的接続のために位置付けられ、配向されている、第一の接点と、
前記光源からの発光体を検出するために位置付けられ、配向されている検出器と、
前記検出器に動作可能に結合された第二の接点であって、前記カートリッジが前記エアロゾル発生装置に受容された時に、前記エアロゾル発生装置の対応する第二の接点への電気的接続のために位置付けられ、配向されている、第二の接点と、を備え、
前記光源および前記検出器の両方が、前記貯蔵区画の同じ側に隣接して位置しており、前記光源の反対側の前記貯蔵区画の表面が、前記光源から前記貯蔵区画の中に放射される光を吸収するように構成されている、カートリッジ。
