Description

In the present invention, the bottom cover member includes an inner cover body and an outer cover body that extend from the lower end of the side wall member and double-cover the lower end opening of the side wall member that is bent into a hexagonal tube shape, a protruding claw portion formed at the tip of the inner cover body, and a first cover locking claw portion formed at the tip of the outer cover body. A first groove-shaped cover notch portion is formed in the widthwise center of the connection portion between the outer cover body and the first cover locking claw portion, and the lower end of the side wall member is shaped to be engageable with the first cover locking claw portion. Next, the structure, functions, and effects of the second and third embodiments of the potted plant delivery box according to this embodiment will be described with a focus on the differences from the first embodiment.

<First embodiment of the present potted plant shipping box>
First, the structure, function, and effect of the first embodiment of the potted plant delivery box according to the present embodiment will be described in detail with reference to Figs. 1 to 9. Fig. 1 shows a perspective view of a potted plant (an example of a Phalaenopsis orchid) to be stored in the potted plant delivery box according to the present embodiment. As shown in Figures 1 to 9, the potted plant delivery box 10 according to the first embodiment is a potted plant delivery box 10 that is formed so that it can store and deliver a potted plant 1, and includes a sidewall member 3 bent into a square tube shape, an upper cover member 4 formed so that the upper end 31 of the sidewall member 3 can be opened and closed, and a bottom cover member 5 formed so that the lower end 32 of the sidewall member 3 can be sealed and the pot 2 of the potted plant 1 can be placed on it. In addition, the sidewall member 3 is formed with a plurality of cutouts 34 that are cut horizontally at a predetermined length from above and below, sandwiching the corners 33 bent into a square tube shape. The cutouts 34 are formed so that they can be bent toward the inside of the room, and the lower end 342 of the cutouts 34 bent toward the inside of the room is formed so as to press the upper end 21 of the pot 2 of the potted plant 1 downward.

Therefore, the pot 2 of the potted plant 1 can be directly clamped between the bottom cover member 5 that seals the lower end 32 of the side wall member 3 and the cut-out portion 34 that is bent toward the inside of the room. In addition, the cut-out portion 34 that is bent toward the inside of the room is connected to the highly rigid side wall member 3 near the corner 33 and is formed with a cross section that is bent in a V-shape in the horizontal direction, so that it has high vertical rigidity and is not easily deformed. Therefore, even if the delivery box 10 moves up and down or sways from side to side during delivery, the potted plant 1 stored inside is prevented from shifting out of position, and damage to the potted plant 1 can be avoided.

In addition, because the pot 2 of the potted plant 1 is directly clamped between the bottom cover member 5 and the cutout portion 34 bent toward the interior side, an insertion stand for inserting the pot 2 of the potted plant 1 is not required, and the delivery box 10 for the potted plant 1 can be made compact, reducing delivery costs and minimizing the display space.

In addition, after opening the top cover member 4 and storing the potted plant 1, the cut portion 34 formed in the side wall member 3 is simply bent toward the inside of the room, and the bottom cover member 5 and the cut portion 34 directly hold the pot 2 of the potted plant 1. This eliminates the need for rubber bands, etc., and saves time and effort in fixing the potted plant 1 to the delivery box 10, which also reduces costs.

Therefore, according to the present embodiment, a delivery box 10 for potted plants can be provided that can store the potted plants 1 in a compact and easy manner without damaging the potted plants 1, and that can reduce costs.

The potted plant 1 is, for example, a potted Phalaenopsis orchid 1K, but it is not necessarily limited to Phalaenopsis orchid 1K. In Figs. 1 and 4, one potted plant 1 (Phalaenopsis orchid 1K) is planted in a pot 2P, and each pot 2P is housed in a pot 2. However, the pot 2 may house multiple potted plants 1, or multiple potted plants 1 of different types may be housed in a group planting in the pot 2. The pot 2 is an approximately cylindrical body with an open upper end 21, and a drainage hole 221 is formed in the center of the bottom surface 22, but the pot 2 does not necessarily have to be an approximately cylindrical body, and may be, for example, a polygonal tubular body, or may not have a drainage hole 221.

As shown in FIG. 9, the delivery box 10 is formed by cutting a plate-shaped material such as a cardboard sheet or thick paper into an unfolded shape. This plate-shaped material may be not only the above-mentioned paper material, but also a composite material in which a resin sheet or aluminum foil is laminated to a paper material. Here, the side wall member 3, the top cover member 4, and the bottom cover member 5 are formed from a single plate-shaped material, but they may be formed separately and joined together. In the delivery box 10, the top cover member 4 and the bottom cover member 5 are formed into a substantially rectangular shape, and the side wall member 3 is folded into a rectangular tube shape, but this is not particularly limited. For example, the top cover member 4 and the bottom cover member 5 may be formed into a pentagonal shape, and the side wall member 3 may be folded into a pentagonal tube shape.

As shown in Figures 1 and 4, in this delivery box 10, it is preferable that the potted plants 1 are stored in the pots 2 with the outer periphery of each planted pot 2P surrounded by a thin plastic sheet 6. In this case, the thin plastic sheet 6 prevents direct contact between the potted plants 1 and the inner wall 10N of the delivery box 10. Here, the thin plastic sheet 6 is soft and slippery, so it is unlikely to damage the flowers of the potted plants 1 even if they come into contact with it. This makes it possible to make the delivery box 10 that stores the potted plants 1 even more compact.

In addition, the potted plants 1 are stored in the pots 2 with each pot 2P in which they are planted surrounded on the outer periphery by a thin plastic sheet 6, so that moisture and humidity from the potted plants 1 are unlikely to fill the interior of the delivery box 10, and the delivery box 10 is prevented from absorbing moisture and humidity, which would cause a decrease in its strength.

In particular, by interposing the thin plastic sheet 6 between the cut portion 34 bent toward the interior side and the potted plant 1, it is possible to prevent a decrease in the strength of the cut portion 34. Therefore, the clamping force when the pot 2 of the potted plant 1 is directly clamped between the bottom cover member 5 sealing the lower end portion 32 of the side wall member 3 and the cut portion 34 bent toward the interior side is increased, and the effect of preventing the potted plant 1 from being damaged can be further improved. The thin plastic sheet 6 may be formed with small-diameter ventilation holes that ensure a certain level of ventilation for the potted plant 1.

The thin plastic sheet 6 is preferably made of a polypropylene sheet with a thickness of, for example, about 0.02 to 0.03 mm. In this case, the thin sheet 6 is appropriately soft and slippery, which is highly effective in preventing damage to the flowers of the potted plant 1.

The thin plastic sheet 6 is preferably formed into a generally conical cylinder with an outer diameter at the top end larger than that at the bottom end. This is because the potted plants 1 can be easily inserted into the top end of the thin sheet 6 for each planted pot 2P, and is less likely to be damaged. The generally conical thin plastic sheet 6 also has a smaller outer diameter at the bottom end, making it easier to encase the bottom end of the pot 2P, and preventing water leakage, etc.

As shown in Figs. 4 and 9, in the delivery box 10, it is preferable that one or more other cut lines 343 are formed in the cut portion 34 between the upper and lower cut lines 341, 342 with approximately the same length. In this case, multiple cut portions 34 with different upper and lower widths can be formed. For example, for a tall pot 2, the cut portion 34 can be bent toward the room side by the upper cut line 341 and the other cut line 343, and the upper end portion 21 of the pot 2 can be pressed by the other cut line 343, and for a short pot 2, the cut portion 34 can be bent toward the room side by the upper cut line 341 and the lower cut line 342, and the upper end portion 21 of the pot 2 can be pressed by the lower cut line 342.

Therefore, the pots 2 of potted plants 1 of different heights can be stably held between the bottom cover member 5 that seals the lower end 32 of the side wall member 3 and the cutouts 34 that are bent toward the inside of the room and have different vertical widths. As a result, the delivery box 10 can store potted plants 1 with pots 2 of different heights, increasing versatility and preventing damage to the stored potted plants 1.

As shown in Figs. 3 and 4, in the delivery box 10, the notches 34 are preferably formed by sandwiching the corners 33 located diagonally on the sidewall member 3 bent into a square tube shape. In this case, the position where the notches 34 bent toward the inside of the room presses the pot 2 of the potted plant 1 can be arranged symmetrically passing through the center 2CL of the pot 2. Therefore, the pot 2 of the potted plant 1 can be more stably sandwiched between the bottom cover member 5 that seals the lower end 32 of the sidewall member 3 and the notches 34 bent toward the inside of the room. As a result, even if the delivery box 10 moves up and down or swings left and right during delivery, the position of the stored potted plant 1 is further prevented from shifting, and damage to the potted plant 1 can be avoided.

In addition, in the present delivery box 10, the side wall member 3 has side ends 35, 36 that overlap when folded into a square tube shape, and the side ends 35, 36 are joined together, and it is preferable that the cut-out portion 34 is formed at a position that includes the joined side ends 35a, 36a. In this case, the cut-out portion 34a, which includes the joined side ends 35a, 36a, can be folded toward the inside of the room, increasing the strength of the cut-out portion 34a.

Therefore, the pot 2 of the potted plant 1 can be more firmly clamped between the reinforced cutout 34a and the bottom cover member 5. As a result, even if the delivery box 10 moves up and down during delivery, the position of the stored potted plant 1 can be more reliably prevented from shifting, and damage to the potted plant 1 can be more reliably prevented. The method of joining the side ends 35, 36 together is not particularly limited, and may be, for example, gluing with an adhesive or joining with double-sided tape.

As shown in Figures 2, 8 and 9, in the present delivery box 10, it is preferable that the side wall member 3 has upper and lower perforated cut lines 34M (341M, 342M) that horizontally connect the upper and lower cut lines 341, 342 in the multiple cuts 34. In this case, by breaking the perforated cut lines 34M (341M, 342M), the side wall member 3 (3X) above the pot 2 of the potted plant 1 can be separated from the lower side wall member 3 (3Y) that houses the pot 2, and the stored potted plant 1 can be easily removed from the delivery box 10.

In addition, the side wall member 3 may be formed with a groove 34N that connects the upper and lower cutting lines 34M (341M, 342M) in the vertical direction. In this case, when separating the side wall member 3 (3X) above the pot 2 of the potted plant 1 from the lower side wall member 3 (3Y) that houses the pot 2, the groove 34N can be grasped and pulled along the upper and lower cutting lines 34M (341M, 342M) to easily break the upper and lower cutting lines 34M (341M, 342M). This makes it even easier to remove the stored potted plant 1 from the delivery box 10.

The grooves 34N are preferably provided in the corners 33 of the sidewall member 3 that is bent into a rectangular tube shape. If the corners 33 are provided with the grooves 34N, they can be easily broken by scratching them with a fingernail or the like, even if they are small, and the upper and lower perforated cutting lines 34M (341M, 342M) can be easily broken. The grooves 34N are formed in the corners 33 where the notches 34 are not formed.

As shown in Figs. 2 and 9, in the delivery box 10, it is preferable that the side wall member 3 has a perforated window hole 37 formed therein. In this case, when the potted plant 1 is delivered directly from the producer to the consumer, the perforated window hole 37 can be closed during delivery, preventing the potted plant 1 from being damaged during delivery. On the other hand, when the potted plant 1 is to be displayed in a market or store, the perforated window hole 37 is broken to form an open window hole 37P, allowing the appearance of the stored potted plant 1 to be observed. Therefore, the potted plant 1 can be displayed in a market or store using the delivery box 10 in which the producer delivers the potted plant 1 directly, and the consumer who purchased the potted plant can use the delivery box 10 to take it home.

The planned window hole portion 37 may be formed, for example, on each of the front plate 3S1, right side plate 3S2, left side plate 3S3, and back plate 3S4 of the side wall member 3 bent into a rectangular tube shape, but may also be formed only on the front plate 3S1 or back plate 3S4. The planned window hole portion 37 may be formed in various shapes, such as a circle, an ellipse, or a rectangle. If the planned window hole portion 37 is formed at a position overlapping the side end portion 35, an open window hole 37P is formed in the side end portion 35 that overlaps with the planned window hole portion 37.

In addition, a plurality of second cuts 38 consisting of upper cut lines 381 and lower cut lines 382 cut horizontally at a predetermined length across the corners 33 bent into a square tube shape are formed in the upper part of the side wall member 3, and the second cuts 38 are folded toward the inside of the room, and a partition plate (not shown) is placed on the upper cut lines 381 of the second cuts 38, and a second storage chamber is provided between the partition plate and the top cover member 4. The second storage chamber can be used to conveniently store sweets, letters, etc.

As shown in Figures 6, 7, and 9, in this delivery box 10, the top cover member 4 is provided with a rectangular top cover body 41 that extends from the upper end 31 of the sidewall member 3 and covers the upper end opening 31K of the sidewall member 3 that is bent into a rectangular tube shape, and a cover locking claw portion 42 formed at the tip of the top cover body 41. At both widthwise ends of the connecting portion 43 between the top cover body 41 and the cover locking claw portion 42, a groove-shaped cover notch portion 43N is formed, and at the upper end 31 of the sidewall member 3, a pair of ears 44 that support both sides of the top cover body 41 from below are provided, and the ears 44 are preferably provided with a recess 441 formed so that the connecting portion 43 of the cover locking claw portion 42 can pass through, and a protrusion 442 that engages with the groove-shaped cover notch portion 43N.

In this case, by inserting the lid locking claw portion 42 into the gap between the recessed portion 441 of the ear portion 44 and the side wall member 3 while the top cover body 41 is covering the top end opening 31K of the side wall member 3 and abutting against the ear portion 44, the grooved lid notch portion 43N formed at both ends of the width direction of the connecting portion 43 between the top cover body 41 and the lid locking claw portion 42 engages with the convex portion 442 of the ear portion 44, and the top cover member 4 can be easily closed over the top end opening 31K of the side wall member 3. Also, when the top cover body 41 is pulled upward, the grooved lid notch portion 43N is disengaged from the engaged convex portion 442, and the top cover member 4 can be easily opened over the top end opening 31K of the side wall member 3. Therefore, the potted plant 1 can be stored in the delivery box 10 without much effort, and costs can be reduced.

As shown in Figures 3 to 5 and 9, in the delivery box 10, the bottom cover member 5 is formed of four bottom plate pieces 5a, 5b, 5c, and 5d that are respectively extended from the lower end 32 of the sidewall member 3 that is bent into a rectangular tube shape, and it is preferable that the bottom plate pieces 5a, 5b, 5c, and 5d are formed so that they partially cross each other in the vertical direction and support each other when the lower end 32 of the sidewall member 3 is sealed. In this case, the lower end 32 of the sidewall member 3 can be easily sealed by simply combining the bottom plate pieces 5a, 5b, 5c, and 5d so that they partially cross each other in the vertical direction and support each other, without bonding the bottom plate pieces 5a, 5b, 5c, and 5d to each other with an adhesive or the like.

Therefore, the delivery box 10 for the potted plant 1 can be assembled easily and quickly, further reducing manufacturing costs. In addition, when sealing the lower end portion 32 of the side wall member 3, there is no need to adhere the bottom plate pieces 5a, 5b, 5c, and 5d to each other with adhesive or the like, so that the delivery box 10 that is not being used can be folded into a flat plate. Therefore, the delivery boxes 10 that are folded into a flat plate can be stacked for storage, and the storage efficiency of the delivery boxes 10 can also be improved.

Specifically, the bottom plate pieces 5a, 5b, 5c, and 5d are a first bottom plate piece 5a having a generally horseshoe shape with a U-shaped cutout 51a formed in the center of the tip, a second bottom plate piece 5b having a generally isosceles trapezoid shape with the tip 51b inserted from below into the cutout 51a and riding on the center 52a of the first bottom plate piece 5a, and a tip 51c riding on the right base end 52b of the second bottom plate piece 5b and the base end 52c of the first bottom plate piece 5a. The third bottom plate piece 5c is substantially trapezoidal in shape and supports the left end 53a from below, and the fourth bottom plate piece 5d has a tip 51d that rides on the left base end 53b of the second bottom plate piece 5b and a base end 52d that supports the right end 54a of the first bottom plate piece 5a from below. It is preferable that the left-right width d1 of the tip 51b of the second bottom plate piece 5b is slightly larger than the notch width d2 of the notch 51a. The second bottom plate piece 5b has a substantially rectangular tip 51b with a left-right width d1. The tip 51c of the third bottom plate piece 5c and the tip 51d of the fourth bottom plate piece 5d are each formed to be substantially rectangular.

As a result, when the bottom plate pieces 5a, 5b, 5c, and 5d are assembled to partially cross and support each other in the vertical direction, the side edges 511b, 511b of the tip 51b of the second bottom plate piece 5b are clamped by the side edges 511a, 511a of the cutout portion 51a of the first bottom plate piece 5a, and the tip sides of the bottom plate pieces 5a, 5b, 5c, and 5d are lifted slightly upward by the repulsive force, allowing the bottom cover member 5 and the cutout portion 34 to clamp the pot 2 of the potted plant 1.

Therefore, the repulsive force between the tip 51b of the second bottom plate piece 5b and the notch 51a of the first bottom plate piece 5a allows the bottom cover member 5 and the notch 34 to hold the pot 2 of the potted plant 1 with greater force, further reducing the positional shift of the pot 2 of the potted plant 1 due to the up and down movement of the delivery box 10 for the potted plant during delivery. As a result, damage to the stored potted plant 1 can be further prevented.

Fig. 16 shows a perspective view of the potted plant delivery box of the second embodiment shown in Fig. 10 with the upper side wall member folded to the rear side and the inner front panel and the outer front panel connected. Fig. 17 is a perspective view of the potted plant delivery box of the second embodiment shown in Fig. 10, in which the upper side wall member is folded toward the rear side so that the potted plant can be viewed from the front side. Fig. 18 is a development view of the potted plant delivery box of the second embodiment shown in Fig. 10. Here, the same reference numerals are used to designate the same components as the potted plant delivery box of the first embodiment, and in principle, the description thereof is omitted. The unique components of the potted plant delivery box of the second embodiment will be described in detail.

As shown in Figures 10 to 18, the potted plant delivery box 10B according to the second embodiment has a side wall member 3B that includes an outer front panel 3BS1 and an inner front panel 3BS2 that overlap inside and outside when folded into a rectangular tube shape, a right side panel 3BS3 adjacent to the outer front panel 3BS1, a left side panel 3BS4 adjacent to the inner front panel 3BS2, and a back panel 3BS5 formed between the right side panel 3BS3 and the left side panel 3BS4. The outer front panel 3BS1 and the inner front panel 3BS2 are divided vertically at the height of the upper end 21 of the pot 2 of the potted plant 1 to be stored.

Then, the divided upper outer front panel 3BXS1 is folded toward the back side of the back panel 3BS5 via a plurality of folds PP1, PP2, PP3 formed on the outer front panel 3BXS1 and the right side panel 3BS3 at an angle toward the upper end of the back panel 3BS5, and the divided upper inner front panel 3BXS2 is folded toward the back side of the back panel 3BS5 via a plurality of folds QQ1, QQ2, QQ3 formed on the inner front panel 3BXS2 and the left side panel 3BS4 at an angle toward the upper end of the back panel 3BS5, so that the folded outer front panel 3BXS1 and inner front panel 3BXS2 are formed so as to be connectable to each other.

A first locking claw portion 35B11 is formed on the side edge of the divided upper outer front panel 3BXS1, and a first groove-shaped cutout portion 35B12 that engages with the first locking claw portion 35B11 is formed at the connection between the divided upper inner front panel 3BXS2 and the left side panel 3BS4. A second locking claw portion 35B21 is formed on the side edge of the divided lower outer front panel 3BYS1, and a second groove-shaped cutout portion 35B22 that engages with the second locking claw portion 35B21 is formed at the connection between the divided lower inner front panel 3BYS2 and the left side panel 3BS4.

The upper corner of the divided upper inner front panel 3BXS2 is formed with a third locking claw portion 36B1 that is bent along the crease QQ3, and the divided upper outer front panel 3BXS1 and right side panel 3BS3 are formed with a third groove-shaped cutout portion 36B2 along the crease PP2 with which the third locking claw portion 36B1 engages.

With the above configuration, the pot 2 is housed by the divided lower outer front panel 3BYS1 and inner front panel 3BYS2, right side panel 3BS3, left side panel 3BS4, back panel 3BS5, and bottom cover member 5, while the divided upper outer front panel 3BXS1 and inner front panel 3BXS2, the diagonal upper part 3BS31 of the right side panel 3BS3, and the diagonal upper part 3BS41 of the left side panel 3BS4 are folded toward the back side of the back panel 3BS5, forming a partition section 3BT that protects the rear of the potted plant 1 with the triangular left and right side panels 3BS3, 3BS4 and the back panel 3BS5 that stands in the middle of them.

In this embodiment, the second locking claw portion 35B21 and the second groove-shaped cutout portion 35B22 are engaged to connect the divided lower outer front panel 3BYS1 and the inner front panel 3BYS2 to each other. Also, the third engaging claw portion 36B1 and the third groove-shaped cutout portion 36B2 are engaged to connect the outer front panel 3BXS1 and the inner front panel 3BXS2, which are bent toward the back side of the back panel 3BS5, to each other. Therefore, when the potted plant 1 is stored in the delivery box 10BB, the screen portion 3BT prevents the potted plant 1 from being damaged, while the front side is opened to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the potted plant 1.

The first locking claw portion 35B11 and the first groove-shaped cutout portion 35B12 are engaged to join the divided upper outer front panel 3BXS1 and inner front panel 3BXS2 by overlapping the inside and outside at the front side, and the upper end portion 31B of the side wall member 3B folded into a rectangular tube is closed with the upper cover member 4B to close the delivery box 10B containing the potted plant 1.

As a result, the producer can directly deliver the potted plant 1 in the delivery box 10B, allowing it to be displayed in a market or store with enhanced aesthetic appeal, and consumers who purchase the displayed potted plant 1 can use the delivery box 10B to take it home.

As shown in Figures 11, 12, 17, and 18, in this delivery box 10B, two cutouts 34B are formed at the corner 33B where the right side panel 3BS3, the back panel 3BS5, and the left side panel 3BS4 are folded. Also, the inner front panel 3BS2 is folded toward the interior side at the height of the upper end 21 of the pot 2 of the potted plant 1 to be stored, and a pressing plate 34BP is formed that abuts against the upper end 21 of the pot 2, and the pressing plate 34BP has an engagement protrusion 34BP1 that engages with a slit groove 34BP2 formed in the right side panel 3BS3.

With the above configuration, the pot 2 of the potted plant 1 can be more stably clamped by the bottom cover member 5B that seals the lower end 32B of the side wall member 3B, the two cutouts 34B that are bent toward the inside of the room, and the pressing plate 34BP that is bent toward the inside of the room and has the slit groove 34BP2 of the right side panel 3BS3 engaged with the engagement protrusion 34BP1. Therefore, even if the delivery box 10B moves up and down or swings from side to side during delivery, the position of the stored potted plant 1 can be more effectively prevented from shifting, and damage to the potted plant 1 can be avoided.

As shown in Figures 14, 15, and 18, in this delivery box 10B, the top cover member 4B is provided with a generally rectangular top cover body 41B that extends from the upper end 31B of the side wall member 3B and covers the upper end opening 31BK of the side wall member 3B that is bent into a rectangular tube shape, and a locking claw portion 42B formed on both side ends of the top cover body 41B, and the top end 31B of the side wall member 3B is provided with a pair of ears 44B that support both sides of the top cover body 41B from below.

The base end of the ear 44B is formed with a groove-shaped notch 44B1 into which the locking claw 42B engages. The ear 44B is formed so that it can be bent inward when the divided upper outer front panel 3BXS1 and inner front panel 3BXS2, the diagonal upper part 3BS31 of the right side panel 3BS3, and the diagonal upper part 3BS41 of the left side panel 3BS4 are bent toward the back side of the back panel 3BS5.

In this case, with the top cover body 41B covering the top opening 31BK of the side wall member 3B and abutting the ear portion 44B, the locking claw portion 42 can be engaged with the groove-shaped notch portion 44B1, allowing the top cover member 4B to be easily closed over the top opening 31BK of the side wall member 3B. Also, when the top cover body 41B is pulled upward, the locking claw portion 42B disengages from the engaged groove-shaped notch portion 44B1, allowing the top cover member 4B to be easily opened over the top opening 31BK of the side wall member 3B. This makes it easy to store the potted plant 1 in the delivery box 10B, and also reduces costs.

<Third embodiment of the present potted plant shipping box>
First, the structure, function, and effect of the third embodiment of the potted plant delivery box according to this embodiment will be described in detail with reference to Figs. 19 to 29. Fig. 19 shows a perspective view of the third embodiment of the potted plant delivery box according to this embodiment. Fig. 20 shows a cross-sectional view of H-H shown in Fig. 19. Fig. 21 shows a partial cross-sectional view of the lower part of the delivery box at the cross-section I-I shown in Fig. 20. Fig. 22 shows a perspective view of the potted plant delivery box of the third embodiment shown in Fig. 19 as seen from the back side. Fig. 23 shows a perspective view of the potted plant delivery box of the third embodiment shown in Fig. 19 in which the upper side wall member is folded toward the back side. As shown in Figures 19 to 29, the potted plant delivery box 10C according to the third embodiment has a side wall member 3C including an outer front panel 3CS1 and an inner front panel 3CS2 that overlap inside and outside when folded into a hexagonal tube shape, a right front side panel 3CS3 adjacent to the outer front panel 3CS1, a right rear side panel 3CS4 adjacent to the right front side panel 3CS3, a left front side panel 3CS5 adjacent to the inner front panel 3CS2, a left rear side panel 3CS6 adjacent to the left front side panel 3CS5, and a rear panel 3CS7 formed between the right rear side panel 3CS4 and the left rear side panel 3CS6.

The outer front panel 3CS1 and right front side panel 3CS3, and the inner front panel 3CS2 and left front side panel 3CS5 are divided vertically at the height of the upper end 21 of the pot 2 of the potted plant 1 to be stored. The divided upper outer front panel 3CXS1 and right front side panel 3CXS3 are folded toward the back side of the right rear side panel 3CS4 and back panel 3CS7 via the corner 33C extending in the vertical direction, and the divided upper inner front panel 3CXS2 and left front side panel 3CXS5 are folded toward the back side of the left rear side panel 3CS6 and back panel 3CS7 via the corner 33C extending in the vertical direction, so that the folded outer front panel 3CXS1 and inner front panel 3CXS2 can be connected to each other.

Here, a first locking claw portion 35C11 and a second locking claw portion 35C21 are formed on the side end of the divided upper outer front panel 3CXS1, and a first groove-shaped cutout portion 35C12 that engages with the first locking claw portion 35C11 is formed at the connection between the divided upper inner front panel 3CXS2 and the left front side panel 3CS5, and a second groove-shaped cutout portion 35C22 that engages with the second locking claw portion 35C21 is formed.

The side end of the divided upper inner front panel 3CXS1 is formed with a third locking claw portion 36C11 and a fourth locking claw portion 36C21, and the connecting portion between the divided upper outer front panel 3CXS1 and the right front side panel 3CS3 is formed with a third groove-shaped cutout portion 36C12 that engages with the third locking claw portion 36C11, and a fourth groove-shaped cutout portion 36C22 that engages with the fourth locking claw portion 36C21.

A fifth locking claw portion 35C41 is formed on the side edge of the divided lower outer front panel 3CYS1, and a fifth groove-shaped cutout portion 35C42 that engages with the fifth locking claw portion 35C41 is formed at the connection between the divided lower inner front panel 3CYS2 and the left front side panel 3CS5.

With the above configuration, the pot 2 is housed by the divided lower outer front panel 3CYS1, inner front panel 3CYS2, right front side panel 3CYS3, left front side panel 3CYS5, right rear side panel 3CS4, left rear side panel 3CS6, back panel 3CS7, and bottom cover member 5C, and by bending the divided upper outer front panel 3CXS1, right front side panel 3CXS3, inner front panel 3CXS2, and left front side panel 3CXS5 at the corners 33C extending in the vertical direction on the back side of the right rear side panel 3CS4, back panel 3CS7, and left rear side panel 3CS6, the upright left and right rear side panels 3CS4, 3CS6, and back panel 3CS7 form a partition section 3CT that protects the rear of the potted plant 1.

In this embodiment, the fifth locking claw portion 35C41 and the fifth groove-shaped cutout portion 35C42 are engaged to connect the divided lower outer front panel 3BYS1 and the inner front panel 3BYS2 to each other. The third locking claw portion 36C11 and the third groove-shaped cutout portion 36C12 are engaged, and the fourth locking claw portion 36C21 and the fourth groove-shaped cutout portion 36C22 are engaged to connect the outer front panel 3CXS1 and the inner front panel 3CXS2 bent to the back side of the back panel 3CS7 to each other. Therefore, when the potted plant 1 is stored in the delivery box 10C, the screen portion 3CT prevents the potted plant 1 from being damaged, while the front side is opened to enhance the beauty of the potted plant 1.

The first locking claw portion 35C11 and the first groove-shaped cutout portion 35C12 are engaged, and the second locking claw portion 35C21 and the second groove-shaped cutout portion 35C22 are engaged to join the divided upper outer front panel 3CXS1 and the inner front panel 3CXS2 by overlapping the inside and outside at the front side, and the upper end opening 31CK of the side wall member 3C folded into a hexagonal tube is closed with the upper cover member 4C to close the delivery box 10C containing the potted plant 1. As a result, the producer can directly deliver the potted plant 1 in the delivery box 10C, which can be used to display the plant in a market or store with enhanced aesthetic appeal, and the purchased consumer can use the delivery box 10C to take it home.

Furthermore, the structure is such that the divided upper outer front panel 3CXS1 and right front side panel 3CXS3, and the inner front panel 3CXS2 and left front side panel 3CXS5 are folded toward the back side of the right rear side panel 3CS4, back panel 3CS7, and left rear side panel 3CS6 via the corners 33C that extend vertically, so the delivery box 10C can be made long and narrow in the vertical direction and can be used for tall potted plants 1.

As shown in Figures 20, 21, and 29, in this delivery box 10C, the cutouts 34C are preferably formed by sandwiching the corners 33C located on the diagonal of the sidewall member 3C bent into a hexagonal tube shape. Here, the cutout 34C1 on the right side of the front is formed by sandwiching the corner 33C between the divided upper outer front panel 3CXS1 and the right front side panel 3CXS3, and the cutout 34C2 on the left side of the front is formed by sandwiching the corner 33C between the divided upper inner front panel 3CXS2 and the left front side panel 3CXS5. In addition, a clearance 34CN is formed on the side edge of the upper inner front panel 3CXS2 so that the cutout 34C1 on the right side of the front does not interfere when it is bent toward the inside of the room.

With the above configuration, the position where the notch 34C bent toward the inside of the room presses against the pot 2 of the potted plant 1 can be positioned symmetrically passing through the center 2CL of the pot 2. Therefore, the pot 2 of the potted plant 1 can be more stably clamped between the bottom cover member 5C that seals the lower end 32C of the side wall member 3C and the notch 34C bent toward the inside of the room. As a result, even if the delivery box 10C moves up and down or sways left and right during delivery, the position of the stored potted plant 1 is further prevented from shifting, and damage to the potted plant 1 can be avoided.

As shown in Figures 27 to 29, in this delivery box 10C, a horizontal fold 311P is formed in the sidewall member 3C at a position above the upper end 21 of the pot 2 of the stored potted plant 1, and in a state where the sidewall member 3CXX above the fold 311P is folded toward the back side, the divided upper outer front panel 3CXS1 and right front side panel 3CXS3 are folded toward the back side of the right rear side panel 3CS4 and back panel 3CS7 via the corner 33C extending in the vertical direction, and the divided upper inner front panel 3CXS2 and left front side panel 3CXS5 are folded toward the back side of the left rear side panel 3CS6 and back panel 3CS7 via the corner 33C extending in the vertical direction, so that the folded outer front panel 3CXS1 and inner front panel 3CXS2 are preferably formed so as to be connectable to each other.

Here, a sixth locking claw portion 35C31 is formed at a position below the fold line 311P on the side end of the divided upper outer front panel 3CXS1, and a sixth groove-shaped cutout portion 35C32 that engages with the sixth locking claw portion 35C31 is formed at the connection portion between the divided upper inner front panel 3CXS2 and the left front side panel 3CS5. Also, a seventh locking claw portion 36C31 is formed at a position below the fold line 311P on the side end of the divided upper inner front panel 3CXS2, and a seventh groove-shaped cutout portion 36C32 that engages with the seventh locking claw portion 36C31 is formed at the connection portion between the divided upper outer front panel 3CXS1 and the right front side panel 3CS3.

The above configuration allows the left and right rear side panels 3CS4, 3CS6 and the back panel 3CS7, which stand lower than the height of the delivery box 10C, to form a low-standing partition 3CTL that protects the rear of the potted plant 1. In this configuration, the seventh locking claw portion 36C31 and the seventh groove-shaped cutout portion 36C32 are engaged to connect the outer front panel 3CXS1 and the inner front panel 3CXS2, which are bent toward the back side of the back panel 3CS7. Therefore, the low-standing partition portion 3CTL prevents the potted plant 1 from being damaged, while also enhancing the aesthetic appeal of the potted plant 1 from the back side.

The sixth locking claw portion 35C31 and the sixth groove-shaped cutout portion 35C32 can be engaged to join the divided upper outer front panel 3CXS1 and inner front panel 3CXS2 by overlapping the inside and outside at the front side, and the upper end portion 31C of the side wall member 3C folded into a rectangular tube can be closed with the upper cover member 4C to close the delivery box 10C containing the potted plant 1.

In addition, in this delivery box 10C, the back panel 3CS7 on which the fold 311P is formed has a handle 3CS7T extending downward from the fold 311P, and it is preferable that the handle 3CS7T is formed so that it can protrude upward when the upper side wall member 3CXX is folded toward the back surface.

In this case, a partition 3CTL is formed to protect the rear of the potted plant 1 by the left and right rear side panels 3CS4, 3CS6 and the back panel 3CS7, which stand up lower than the height of the delivery box 10C, and the delivery box 10C containing the potted plant 1 can be grasped and easily moved using the handle 3CS7T that protrudes upward from the upper end 3CTL1 of this partition 3CTL. For example, when displaying the potted plant 1, the potted plant 1 can be easily rearranged while preventing it from being damaged.

As shown in Figures 20, 21, 26, and 29, in the delivery box 10C, the bottom cover member 5C includes an inner cover body 51C and an outer cover body 52C that extend from the lower end 32C of the side wall member 3C and double-cover the lower end opening 32CK of the side wall member 3C that is bent into a hexagonal tube shape, a protruding claw portion 511C formed at the tip of the inner cover body 51C, and a first cover locking claw portion 521C formed at the tip of the outer cover body 52C, and a first groove-shaped cover notch portion 522C is formed in the widthwise center of the connection portion between the outer cover body 52C and the first cover locking claw portion 521C.

The lower end 32C of the side wall member 3C is formed with a second groove-shaped lid notch 512C that is formed to be engageable with the first lid locking claw portion 521C, a third groove-shaped lid notch 523C that is formed to be engageable with the protruding claw portion 511C, and a second lid locking claw portion 53C that is formed to be engageable with the first groove-shaped lid notch 522C.

With the above configuration, the inner lid body 51C covers the bottom end opening 32CK of the side wall member 3C and the protruding claw portion 511C is engaged with the third groove-shaped lid notch portion 523C, and then the outer lid body 52C is placed on the inner lid body 51C, the first lid locking claw portion 521C is engaged with the second groove-shaped lid notch portion 512C, and then the second lid locking claw portion 53C can be engaged with the first groove-shaped lid notch portion 522C. This allows the inner lid body 51C and the outer lid body 52C to double-cover and seal the bottom end opening 32CK of the side wall member 3C bent into a hexagonal tube.

Therefore, even if the delivery box 10C gets wet with rainwater, the strength of the bottom cover member 5C is not reduced, and the necessary closing force of the bottom cover member 5C against the lower end portion 32C of the side wall member 3C can be secured. As a result, the pot 2 of the potted plant 1 is more securely held between the bottom cover member 5C and the cut portion 34C bent toward the inside of the room, preventing the stored potted plant 1 from shifting out of position and preventing the potted plant 1 from being damaged.

In addition, in this delivery box 10C, the top cover member 4C includes an inner cover body 41C and an outer cover body 42C that extend from the upper end portion 31C of the side wall member 3C and double-cover the upper end opening 31CK of the side wall member 3C that is bent into a hexagonal tube shape, a protruding claw portion 411C formed at the tip of the inner cover body 41C, and a first cover locking claw portion 421C formed at the tip of the outer cover body 42C, and a first groove-shaped cover notch portion 422C is formed in the widthwise center of the connection portion between the outer cover body 42C and the first cover locking claw portion 421C.

The upper end 31C of the side wall member 3C is formed with a second groove-shaped lid notch 412C that is formed to be engageable with the first lid locking claw portion 421C, a third groove-shaped lid notch 423C that is formed to be engageable with the protruding claw portion 411C, and a second lid locking claw portion 43C that is formed to be engageable with the first groove-shaped lid notch 422C.

With the above configuration, the inner lid body 41C covers the upper end opening 31CK of the side wall member 3C, and the protruding claw portion 411C is engaged with the third groove-shaped lid notch portion 423C. Then, the outer lid body 42C is placed on the inner lid body 41C, the first lid locking claw portion 421C is engaged with the second groove-shaped lid notch portion 412C, and then the second lid locking claw portion 43C is engaged with the first groove-shaped lid notch portion 422C. This allows the upper end opening 31CK of the side wall member 3C bent into a hexagonal tube to be doubly covered and sealed by the inner lid body 41C and the outer lid body 42C.

<Action and effect>
As described above in detail, the potted plant delivery boxes 10, 10B, 10C according to the present embodiment include side wall members 3, 3B, 3C bent into a rectangular tube shape, upper lid members 4, 4B, 4C formed so that upper end portions 31, 31B, 31C of the side wall members 3, 3B, 3C can be opened and closed, and bottom lid members 5, 5B, 5C formed so that lower end portions 32, 32B, 32C of the side wall members 3, 3B, 3C can be sealed and the pot 2 of the potted plant 1 can be placed thereon. The side wall members 3, 3B, 3C are provided with corners 33, 33B, 33C bent into a rectangular tube shape, and the corners 33, 33B, 33C are sandwiched between the corners 33, 33B, 33C to form a predetermined length. The cutouts 34, 34B, 34C are formed so as to be bendable toward the interior side, and the lower end 341 of the cutouts 34, 34B, 34C bent toward the interior side is formed so as to press downward the upper end 21 of the pot 2 of the potted plant 1, so that the pot 2 of the potted plant 1 can be directly clamped between the bottom cover members 5, 5B, 5C sealing the lower ends 32, 32B, 32C of the side wall members 3, 3B, 3C and the cutouts 34, 34B, 34C bent toward the interior side. Therefore, even if the delivery box 10, 10B, 10C moves up and down or swings left and right during delivery, the position of the stored potted plant 1 is prevented from shifting, and damage to the potted plant 1 can be avoided.

In addition, because the structure directly clamps the pot 2 of the potted plant 1 between the bottom cover members 5, 5B, 5C and the cutouts 34, 34B, 34C bent toward the interior side, an insertion table for inserting the pot 2 of the potted plant 1 is not required, and the delivery box 10, 10B, 10C for the potted plant 1 can be made compact, reducing delivery costs and reducing the display space. In addition, after opening the top cover members 4, 4B, 4C and storing the potted plant 1, the cutouts 34, 34B, 34C formed in the side wall members 3, 3B, 3C are simply bent toward the interior side to directly clamp the pot 2 of the potted plant 1 between the bottom cover members 5, 5B, 5C and the cutouts 34, 34B, 34C, eliminating the need for rubber bands, eliminating the need for laborious operations to fix the potted plant 1 to the delivery box 10, 10B, 10C, and reducing costs.

Therefore, according to this embodiment, it is possible to provide a potted plant delivery box 10, 10B, 10C that can store the potted plant 1 compactly and easily without damaging it, and that can reduce costs.

In addition, according to this embodiment, the potted plant 1 is stored in the pot 2 with the outer periphery of each pot 2P in which it is planted surrounded by the thin plastic sheet 6, so the thin plastic sheet 6 prevents direct contact between the potted plant 1 and the inner wall 10N of the delivery box 10, 10B, 10C. Here, the thin plastic sheet 6 is soft and slippery, so it is unlikely to damage the flowers of the potted plant 1 even if it comes into contact with it. This allows the delivery box 10, 10B, 10C that stores the potted plant 1 to be made even more compact.
