Claims (16)
- 上部(220)と、複合材構造体(204)用の所望の形状(228)を有する下部(222)であって複合材の層(230)を受けるように構成されている下部(222)とを備えるプレス機(210)と、
前記プレス機(210)の上部(220)に付随しているブラダー(212)であって、前記複合材の層(230)に圧力(250)を印加することによって該ブラダー(212)が前記複合材構造体(204)の形になるように加熱時に超塑性状態(248)に達するように構成されているブラダー(212)と、
前記プレス機(210)の上部(220)に接続され、前記複合材構造体(204)の成形中に前記ブラダー(212)を適所に保持するように構成された支持構造体(224)と、を備え、
前記支持構造体(224)が、
前記ブラダー(212)の部分(242)の周りに圧力(244)を印加して、前記ブラダー(212)を適所に保持するための気密シール(246)を生じさせるように構成されたリッジ部(236)を有するフレーム(234)と、

前記プレス機(210)の上部(220)に付随しているブラダー(212)を前記複合材の層(230)の上に配置することと、
前記ブラダー(212)と前記プレス機(210)の上部(220)との間に気密シール(246)を生じさせるように構成されたフレーム(234)を用いて、前記プレス機(210)の上部(220)に前記ブラダー(212)を取り付けることと、
前記プレス機(210)を閉じることと、
前記プレス機(210)の上部(220)と前記ブラダー(212)との間の空間(258)を第一レベル(262)の圧力(250)に加圧して、前記ブラダー(212)を前記複合材の層(230)に接触させることと、
前記ブラダー(212)が前記複合材構造体(204)の形になるように前記ブラダー(212)を超塑性状態(248)に加熱することと、
前記第一レベル(262)の圧力(250)よりも高い第二レベル(264)の圧力(250)に前記空間(258)を加圧して、前記複合材構造体(204)を成形することと、を備える方法。 - 前記ブラダー(212)が、摂氏316度(華氏600度)から摂氏427度(華氏800度)の間で前記超塑性状態(248)に達するように構成されたマグネシウムを備える、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記ブラダー(212)を前記第二レベル(264)の圧力(250)にしたままで前記複合材構造体(204)を冷却することを更に備える請求項6又は7に記載の方法。
- 前記複合材構造体(204)が第一複合材構造体(266)であり、
前記ブラダー(212)を再使用して、所望の形状(228)を有する第二複合材構造体(268)を成形することを更に備える請求項6から8のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 - 前記複合材構造体(204)を成形することと同時に前記複合材の層(230)をコンソリデーションさせることを更に備える請求項6から9のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記プレス機(210)の上部(220)と前記ブラダー(212)との間の空間(258)を加圧することが、前記プレス機(210)の上部(220)と前記ブラダー(212)との間の空間(258)にガス(260)を供給して、前記複合材の層(230)に圧力(250)を印加することを備える、請求項6から10のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 航空機(208)用の複合材構造体(204)を成形するための方法であって、
前記複合材構造体(204)用の所望の形状(228)を有するプレス機(210)の下部(222)に熱可塑性物質(112)を配置することと、
前記プレス機(210)の上部(220)に付随しているブラダー(212)を前記熱可塑性物質の上に配置することと、
フレーム(234)を用いて前記プレス機(210)の上部(220)に前記ブラダー(212)を取り付けることと、
前記プレス機(210)を閉じることと、
前記プレス機(210)の上部(220)と前記ブラダー(212)との間の空間(258)を第一レベル(262)の圧力(250)に加圧することと、
前記熱可塑性物質に圧力(250)を印加することによって前記ブラダー(212)が前記複合材構造体(204)の形になるように前記ブラダー(212)を超塑性状態(248)に加熱することと、
前記第一レベル(262)の圧力(250)よりも高い第二レベル(264)の圧力(250)に前記空間(258)を加圧して、前記複合材構造体(204)を成形することと、を備える方法。 - 前記ブラダー(212)を前記第二レベル(264)の圧力(250)にしたままで前記複合材構造体(204)を冷却することを更に備える請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記ブラダー(212)が、摂氏316度(華氏600度)から摂氏427度(華氏800度)の間で前記超塑性状態(248)に達するように構成されたマグネシウムを備える、請求項12又は13に記載の方法。
