Description
Claims (5)
- 入射する放射線の光子エネルギーに対応する電気信号を出力する光子計数型検出器の較正データを取得するときに用いられるファントムであって、
既知の物質である第1基底物質と第2基底物質とを含み、
前記第1基底物質は、前記第2基底物質よりも前記放射線に対する減弱係数が小さく、前記放射線の照射野の断面と直交する方向において段階的に厚さが変化し、各段では前記光子計数型検出器の検出素子が配列される方向において前記照射野の中心からの距離が長くなるに連れて厚さが薄くなり、
前記照射野での前記第1基底物質の断面形状は、前記照射野の中心を通る放射線に沿う短軸を有する楕円であり、
前記短軸の長さは、前記照射野の断面と直交する方向における段毎に異なり、
前記楕円の長軸の長さは、前記照射野の断面と直交する方向における全ての段において等しいことを特徴とするファントム。 - 請求項1に記載のファントムであって、
Nが前記照射野の断面と直交する方向における段の数であるとき、前記照射野の断面と直交する方向の一方の端部からi番目の楕円の短軸の長さが長軸の長さのi/N倍であることを特徴とするファントム。 - 請求項1に記載のファントムであって、
前記第1基底物質と前記第2基底物質とは、前記照射野の断面と直交する方向に個別に移動させられることを特徴とするファントム。 - 入射する放射線の光子エネルギーに対応する電気信号を出力する光子計数型検出器を備える放射線撮像装置であって、
請求項1に記載のファントムを用いて取得される較正データを記憶する記憶部を備えることを特徴とする放射線撮像装置。 - 入射する放射線の光子エネルギーに対応する電気信号を出力する光子計数型検出器の較正方法であって、
既知の物質である第1基底物質と第2基底物質とを含み、
前記第1基底物質は、前記第2基底物質よりも前記放射線に対する減弱係数が小さく、前記放射線の照射野の断面と直交する方向において段階的に厚さが変化し、各段では前記光子計数型検出器の検出素子が配列される方向において前記照射野の中心からの距離が長くなるに連れて厚さが薄くなるファントムを用いて前記光子計数型検出器の較正データを取得し、
前記照射野での前記第1基底物質の断面形状は、前記照射野の中心を通る放射線に沿う短軸を有する楕円であり、
前記短軸の長さは、前記照射野の断面と直交する方向における段毎に異なり、
前記楕円の長軸の長さは、前記照射野の断面と直交する方向における全ての段において等しいことを特徴とする較正方法。
