Description
Claims (15)
- エアロゾル送達システムであって、
患者が吸入するときに患者に送達するための流体をエアロゾル化するエアロゾル発生器と、
前記エアロゾル発生器に接続され、流体を前記エアロゾル発生器に圧送するポンプと、
患者が呼吸するときに信号を発信する呼吸センサと、
前記エアロゾル発生器、前記ポンプ、および前記呼吸センサに接続されたコントローラであって、前記コントローラは前記呼吸センサから信号を受信し、前記信号に応答して前記エアロゾル発生器への流体の流れを制御し、かつ吸入サイクルの前または吸入サイクル中に前記エアロゾル発生器を制御して流体のエアロゾル化を開始する、前記コントローラとを備え、
前記呼吸センサは、患者の呼吸パターンを追跡するために患者が吸入するときの流体の流れの変化を検知するように構成された流量センサを含み、
前記コントローラは、追跡される呼吸パターンを監視することによって吸入が開始される時期を予測し、吸入が開始される時期を予測することに基づいて、前記エアロゾル発生器への流体の流れを制御し、予測される吸入が開始される時期を予測することに基づいて、予測される吸入の期間の1~30%の間である、患者による予測される吸入の前の第1の期間に流体のエアロゾル化を開始するように前記エアロゾル発生器を制御し、
前記コントローラは、予測される吸入の期間の1~20%の間である、患者による予測される吸入の終了前の第2の期間に流体のエアロゾル化を停止し、前記コントローラは、前記エアロゾル発生器に、予測される吸入の開始時に、より多くのエアロゾル化された流体を生成させ、予測される吸入の間にエアロゾル化された流体の量を徐々に減少させる、エアロゾル送達システム。 - 前記呼吸センサが流量センサである、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記呼吸センサは、レーダーセンサ、二酸化炭素センサ、温度センサ、音響パターンセンサ、インピーダンスプレチスモグラフィーセンサ、および呼吸インダクタンスプレチスモグラフィーセンサのうちの少なくとも1つを含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記ポンプは、流体送達導管を介して前記エアロゾル発生器と連結する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記エアロゾル発生器が、流体をエアロゾル化する振動可能な部材を振動させるための圧電アクチュエータを含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記エアロゾル発生器は、体積メジアン径が1ミクロン以下の液滴で、80%以上の微粒子分率を有するエアロゾル化された流体を生成するように構成されている、請求項5に記載のシステム。
- 前記コントローラは、前記呼吸センサに接続され、患者の呼吸サイクルを監視することにより前記患者が吸入する時期を予測するように構成されたプロセッサを含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記ポンプが容積式ポンプである、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記ポンプが非容積式ポンプである、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- エアロゾル送達システムであって、
患者が吸入するときに患者に送達するための流体をエアロゾル化するエアロゾル発生器と、
前記エアロゾル発生器に接続され、流体を前記エアロゾル発生器に圧送するポンプと、
患者の呼吸パターンを追跡するために患者が吸入するときの流体の流れの変化を検知するように構成された流量センサと、
前記エアロゾル発生器、前記ポンプ、前記流量センサに接続されたコントローラであって、前記コントローラは前記流量センサから信号を受信し、前記信号に応答して前記エアロゾル発生器への流体の流れを制御し、かつ前記エアロゾル発生器を制御して流体のエアロゾル化を開始する、前記コントローラとを備え、前記コントローラは、追跡される呼吸パターンを監視することによって吸入が開始される時期を予測し、吸入が開始される時期を予測することに基づいて、前記エアロゾル発生器への流体の流れを制御し、予測される吸入が開始される時期を予測することに基づいて、予測される吸入の期間の1~30%の間である、患者による予測される吸入の前の第1の期間に流体のエアロゾル化を開始するように前記エアロゾル発生器を制御し、
前記コントローラは、予測される吸入の期間の1~20%の間である、患者による予測される吸入の終了前の第2の期間に流体のエアロゾル化を停止し、前記コントローラは、前記エアロゾル発生器に、予測される吸入の開始時に、より多くのエアロゾル化された流体を生成させ、予測される吸入の間にエアロゾル化された流体の量を徐々に減少させる、エアロゾル送達システム。 - 前記ポンプは、流体送達導管を介して前記エアロゾル発生器と連結する、請求項10に記載のシステム。
