Claims (14)
- ターゲットボリュームの3次元画像を生成する超音波イメージングシステムであって、前記超音波イメージングシステムは、
前記ターゲットボリュームに平面波又は発散波を送信し、前記ターゲットボリュームから戻って来た超音波エコー信号を取得するトランスデューサ素子が方位角方向に等間隔及び仰角方向に等間隔で配置されているトランスデューサ素子の2次元アレイを含む超音波プローブと、
各送信からの前記超音波エコー信号を受信し、前記ターゲットボリュームから戻って来た前記超音波エコー信号を空間ベースで処理する受信器と、
前記受信器に結合され、各送信に応答して生成された画像データを空間ベースで合成する画像データ合成器と、
合成された前記画像データを受信し、ボリューム画像を生成する画像プロセッサと、
前記ボリューム画像を表示するディスプレイと、
を含む、超音波イメージングシステムにおいて、
前記2次元アレイはさらに、送信ビーム位置のグリッドの対角方向における複数のグリッド交点が、前記平面波又は前記発散波の仮想頂点を画定するように、前記2次元アレイの開口部の表面に対して、複数の前記平面波又は前記発散波を複数の異なる角度で送信することを特徴とする、超音波イメージングシステム。 - 前記2次元アレイはさらに、前記方位角方向及び前記仰角方向の両方を含む角度において、複数の前記平面波又は前記発散波を送信する、請求項1に記載の超音波イメージングシステム。
- 前記受信器はさらに、ビーム形成によって、受信した前記超音波エコー信号を処理するビームフォーマを含む、請求項1に記載の超音波イメージングシステム。
- 前記超音波プローブはさらに、前記2次元アレイの前記トランスデューサ素子に結合され、前記2次元アレイの前記トランスデューサ素子のパッチによって受信されたエコー信号の部分的なビーム形成を行うマイクロビームフォーマを含む、請求項3に記載の超音波イメージングシステム。
- 前記ビームフォーマはさらに、前記マイクロビームフォーマによって生成された部分的にビーム形成されたエコー信号をビーム形成する、請求項4に記載の超音波イメージングシステム。
- 前記画像データ合成器はさらに、エコー信号を空間ベースで記憶する画像データメモリを含む、請求項3に記載の超音波イメージングシステム。
- 前記受信器はさらに、合成焦点プロセッサを含む、請求項1に記載の超音波イメージングシステム。
- 前記2次元アレイによって取得されたエコー信号を空間ベースで記憶するメモリをさらに含む、請求項7に記載の超音波イメージングシステム。
- 前記合成焦点プロセッサはさらに、前記画像データ合成器を含み、複数の送信からの前記ターゲットボリュームから受信されたエコー信号を空間ベースで結合する、請求項7に記載の超音波イメージングシステム。
- 前記画像プロセッサはさらに、Bモードプロセッサを含む、請求項1に記載の超音波イメージングシステム。
- 前記画像プロセッサはさらに、ドップラープロセッサを含む、請求項1に記載の超音波イメージングシステム。
- 前記画像プロセッサはさらに、3Dデータセットから画像平面の画像データを抽出するマルチプラナーリフォーマッタを含む、請求項1に記載の超音波イメージングシステム。
- 前記画像プロセッサはさらに、3D画像データセットから投影画像を生成するボリュームレンダラを含む、請求項1に記載の超音波イメージングシステム。
- ターゲットボリュームの3次元画像を生成するための方法であって、前記方法は、
トランスデューサ素子が方位角方向に等間隔及び仰角方向に等間隔で配置されているトランスデューサ素子の2次元アレイを含む超音波プローブを用いて、前記ターゲットボリュームに平面波又は発散波を送信し、前記ターゲットボリュームから戻って来た超音波エコー信号を取得するステップと、
各送信からの前記超音波エコー信号を受信するステップと、
前記ターゲットボリュームから戻って来た前記超音波エコー信号を空間ベースで処理するステップと、
各送信に応答して生成された画像データを空間ベースで合成するステップと、
合成された前記画像データからボリューム画像を生成するステップと、
前記ボリューム画像を表示するステップと、
を含む、方法において、
前記方法は、前記2次元アレイを用いて、送信ビーム位置のグリッドの対角方向における複数のグリッド交点が、前記平面波又は前記発散波の仮想頂点を画定するように、前記2次元アレイの開口部の表面に対して、複数の前記平面波又は前記発散波を複数の異なる角度で送信することを特徴とする、方法。
