[B]目付の高い順に選択した繊維束と、目付の低い順に選択した繊維束とを順に組み合わせていく、および
[C]組み合わせた繊維束の目付の和を、繊維束の目付として新たに定め、繊維束の新たな群を定める。

Claims (7)
- 複数本の繊維束に樹脂を含浸して1本のトウプレグとするトウプレグの製造方法であって、前記方法が:
トウプレグを製造するための繊維束のストックを提供すること;
樹脂による含浸前に前記ストックの前記繊維束ごとの目付を測定すること;
前記繊維目付に基づいて前記ストックから繊維束の群を定めることによって、画定された繊維束を得ること;
前記複数本の繊維束を組み合わせて前記トウプレグとした際のトウプレグの繊維目付を予測することによって、トウプレグの予測される繊維目付を得ること;および
前記トウプレグの前記予測される繊維目付がトウプレグの目付のターゲット値から決定された範囲内に入る画定された繊維束の群全てからの繊維束の組み合わせを用いて前記トウプレグを製造すること、
を含むことを特徴とする、方法。 - 画定された繊維束の群全てを用いて前記トウプレグを製造する際に、予測される前記トウプレグの前記繊維目付と前記ターゲット値との差の二乗の積算が最小となる繊維束の組み合わせを用いることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のトウプレグの製造方法。
- 画定された繊維束の群全てを用いて前記トウプレグを製造する際に、以下の手順:
[A]繊維束の前記群を前記繊維束の目付順にソートする、
[B]目付の高い順に選択した繊維束と、目付の低い順に選択した繊維束とを順に組み合わせていく、および
[C]前記組み合わせた繊維束の前記目付の和を、前記繊維束の目付として新たに定め、繊維束の新たな群を定める、
を繰り返して前記複数本の繊維束を組み合わせることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のトウプレグの製造方法。 - 画定された繊維束の群全てを用いて前記トウプレグを製造する際に、繊維束の前記群を前記繊維束の目付順にソートした後、繊維束の前記群を、前記トウプレグに必要な繊維束の本数分のユニットに目付順に等分割し、それぞれの前記ユニットから1本ずつ選択して繊維束を組み合わせることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のトウプレグの製造方法。
- 繊維束を厚み方向に2本重ねて1本のトウプレグとすることを特徴とする、請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載のトウプレグの製造方法。
- 前記トウプレグに含浸する前記樹脂の粘度が、40℃で100Pa・s以上であることを特徴とする、請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載のトウプレグの製造方法。
- 前記繊維束のそれぞれが、炭素繊維を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1~6のいずれか一項に記載のトウプレグの製造方法。
