Description
(1) 体腔内に埋め込むためのステントであって、
ステント円周と、第1の開放端部と、第2の開放端部と、前記第1の開放端部から前記第2の開放端部まで延在する長さと、を含む、実質的に管状の形状と、
各々が複数の交互の細いセグメント及び太いセグメントを含む前記ステントの前記長さの大部分にわたって延在する複数の長手方向要素と、
各々が周方向に延在する複数の相互接続部材であって、各々が前記複数の長手方向要素のうちの2つの隣接する長手方向要素を接続し、各々が複数の枝状部を含む、複数の相互接続部材と、
前記複数の交互の細いセグメント及び太いセグメントの各々の間の前記複数の長手方向要素の各々の上に位置決めされた複数のノードであって、前記複数のノードの各々が、前記複数の枝状部のうちの1つの枝状部を前記複数の長手方向要素のうちの1つの長手方向要素に接続する、複数のノードと、を含み、
前記複数の細いセグメントが各々、前記複数のノードの第1の隣接する対の間の実質的に均一な幅である細い幅を含み、前記複数の太いセグメントが各々、前記複数のノードの第2の隣接する対の間の実質的に均一な幅である太い幅を含み、前記太い幅が、前記細い幅を超える、ステント。
(2) 前記複数の長手方向要素の各々が、正弦波形状を含む、実施態様1に記載のステント。
(3) 前記複数のノードの各々が、前記正弦波形状のピーク又はトラフに位置決めされている、実施態様2に記載のステント。
(4) 前記複数の相互接続部材の各々が、実質的に均一な幅を含む細い枝状部と、前記細い枝状部の前記幅を超える実質的に均一な幅を含む太い枝状部と、を含む、実施態様1に記載のステント。
(5) 前記相互接続部材が、2つの中間ノードで接合された4つの枝状部を含む、実施態様1に記載のステント。
(7) 実質的に管状の形状と、時計回り方向、反時計回り方向、及び長手方向に反復する複数の単位セルと、を含む体腔内に埋め込むためのステントであって、前記複数の単位セルの各々が、
前記長手方向に前記単位セルの前記幅に延在し、かつ波パターンの1周期を形成する長手方向に延在する要素であって、前記波パターンの1周期が、
前記波パターンのトラフに位置決めされた反時計回りのノードと、
前記波パターンのピークに位置決めされた時計回りのノードと、
前記反時計回りのノードから前記時計回りのノードまで延在する実質的に均一な幅を含む太いセグメントと、
前記時計回りのノードから長手方向に隣接する単位セルの長手方向に隣接する反時計回りのノードまで延在する、前記太いセグメントの前記幅未満の実質的に均一な幅を含む細いセグメントと、を含む、長手方向に延在する要素と、
前記時計回りのノードから前記時計回り方向に周方向に延在する時計回りに延在する枝状部と、
前記反時計回りのノードから前記反時計回り方向に周方向に延在する反時計回りに延在する枝状部と、を含む、ステント。
(8) 前記単位セルが、
前記長手方向に隣接する単位セルから延在する長手方向に隣接して反時計回りに延在する枝状部と、
反時計回りに隣接する単位セルから延在する反時計回りに隣接して時計回りに延在する枝状部と、を接続する第1の中間枝状部を更に含む、実施態様7に記載のステント。
(9) 前記単位セルが、
前記長手方向に隣接して反時計回りに延在する枝状部と、
前記長手方向に隣接する単位セルに反時計回りに隣接する単位セルから延在する、斜めに隣接して時計回りに延在する枝状部と、を接続する第2の中間枝状部を更に含む、実施態様8に記載のステント。
(10) 前記時計回りに延在する枝状部が、実質的に均一な幅を含み、
前記反時計回りに延在する枝状部が、前記時計回りに延在する枝状部の前記幅にほぼ等しい実質的に均一な幅を含み、
前記第1の中間枝状部が、前記時計回りに延在する枝状部の前記幅及び前記反時計回りに延在する枝状部の前記幅未満である、実質的に均一な幅を含む、実施態様8に記載のステント。
(12) 前記太いセグメントの前記幅が、約0.046mm(約0.0018インチ)であり、前記細いセグメントの前記幅が、約0.0318mm(約0.00125インチ)である、実施態様7に記載のステント。
(13) 第1の端部、第2の端部、前記第1の端部から前記第2の端部まで前記長手方向に延在する長さ、及び複数の端部セルを更に含み、各々の端部セルが、
前記長手方向に延在する要素の端部セグメントと、
前記相互接続部材の端部枝状部と、
前記端部セグメントを前記端部枝状部に接続する接合部材と、を含み、
前記端部セルが、前記第1の端部及び前記第2の端部に近接して位置決めされ、前記時計回り方向及び前記反時計回り方向に反復し、
前記単位セルが、前記ステントの前記長さの大部分にわたって長手方向に反復している、実施態様7に記載のステント。
(14) 体腔内に埋め込むためのステントであって、
周方向に測定される円周と、長手方向に測定される長さと、を含む実質的に管状の形状と、
各々が複数の交互の可撓性セグメント及び剛性セグメントを含む前記ステントの前記長さの大部分にわたって延在する複数の長手方向要素であって、
前記複数の可撓性セグメントの各々及び前記複数の剛性セグメントの各々が、前記ステントに構造的支持を提供し、
前記複数の可撓性セグメントが各々、前記複数の剛性セグメントの各々を超える前記長手方向又は前記周方向の可撓性を有する、複数の長手方向要素と、
前記複数の長手方向要素のうちの2つの隣接する長手方向要素を前記周方向に各々が接続し、各々が複数の枝状部を含む、複数の相互接続部材と、
前記複数の交互の可撓性セグメント及び剛性セグメントの各々の間の前記複数の長手方向要素の各々の上に位置決めされた複数のノードであって、前記複数のノードの各々が、前記複数の枝状部のうちの1つの枝状部を前記複数の長手方向要素のうちの1つの長手方向要素に接続する、複数のノードと、を含む、ステント。
(15) 前記可撓性セグメントが、細い幅を含み、前記剛性セグメントが太い幅を含み、前記太い幅が、前記細い幅を超える、実施態様14に記載のステント。
(17) 前記長手方向要素が各々、複数のピーク及び複数のトラフを含む波形を含み、
前記複数のノードの各々が、前記複数のピークのうちの1つのピーク又は前記複数のトラフのうちの1つのトラフに位置決めされ、
前記複数の相互接続部材の各々が、前記2つの隣接する長手方向要素のうちの第1の長手方向要素からの複数のピークを、前記2つの隣接する長手方向要素のうちの第2の長手方向要素からの複数のトラフに接続する、実施態様14に記載のステント。
(18) ステントの製造方法であって、
周方向及び長手方向を含む弾性チューブを提供することと、
前記チューブを切断して、前記長手方向に延在する可撓性ストラット及び剛性ストラットの第1の交互パターンを形成することであって、前記可撓性ストラットの各々が、前記長手方向に各々測定されるとき、前記剛性ストラットの各々よりも可撓性である、形成することと、
前記第1の交互パターンの前記可撓性ストラットと剛性ストラットとの各々の交点に複数の第1のノードを位置決めすることと、
前記チューブを切断して、前記複数の第1のノードの各々から各々が延在する複数の第1の枝状部を形成することと、
前記チューブを切断して、前記長手方向に延在し、かつ前記周方向に前記第1の交互パターンに隣接して位置決めされる可撓性ストラット及び剛性ストラットの少なくとも1つの隣接する交互パターンを形成することと、
前記複数の第1の枝状部を前記少なくとも1つの隣接する交互パターンに接続することと、を含む、方法。
(19) 前記可撓性ストラットの各々を、第1の対の隣接するノードの間に実質的に均一な細い幅を含むように切断することと、
前記剛性ストラットの各々を、前記複数のノードのうちの第2の対の隣接するノードの間に実質的に均一な太い幅を含むように切断することであって、各可撓性ストラットの前記細い幅が、各々の剛性ストラットの前記太い幅未満である、切断することと、を更に含む、実施態様18に記載の方法。
(20) 前記複数の第1の枝状部のうちの1つの枝状部から各々が延在する複数の中間枝状部を切断することを更に含み、前記複数の中間枝状部の各々は、それが延在する前記枝状部の幅未満の幅を含む、実施態様18に記載の方法。
Claims (7)
- 実質的に管状の形状と、時計回り方向、反時計回り方向、及び長手方向に反復する複数の単位セルと、を含む体腔内に埋め込むためのステントであって、前記複数の単位セルの各々が、
前記長手方向に前記単位セルの幅に延在し、かつ波パターンの1周期を形成する長手方向に延在する要素であって、前記波パターンの1周期が、
前記波パターンのトラフに位置決めされた反時計回りのノードと、
前記波パターンのピークに位置決めされた時計回りのノードと、
前記反時計回りのノードから前記時計回りのノードまで延在する実質的に均一な幅を含む太いセグメントと、
前記時計回りのノードから長手方向に隣接する単位セルの長手方向に隣接する反時計回りのノードまで延在する、前記太いセグメントの前記幅未満の実質的に均一な幅を含む細いセグメントと、を含む、長手方向に延在する要素と、
前記時計回りのノードから前記時計回り方向に周方向に延在する時計回りに延在する枝状部と、
前記反時計回りのノードから前記反時計回り方向に周方向に延在する反時計回りに延在する枝状部と、を含む、ステント。 - 前記単位セルが、
前記長手方向に隣接する単位セルから延在する長手方向に隣接して反時計回りに延在する枝状部と、
反時計回りに隣接する単位セルから延在する反時計回りに隣接して時計回りに延在する枝状部と、を接続する第1の中間枝状部を更に含む、請求項1に記載のステント。 - 前記単位セルが、
前記長手方向に隣接して反時計回りに延在する枝状部と、
前記長手方向に隣接する単位セルに反時計回りに隣接する単位セルから延在する、斜めに隣接して時計回りに延在する枝状部と、を接続する第2の中間枝状部を更に含む、請求項2に記載のステント。 - 前記時計回りに延在する枝状部が、実質的に均一な幅を含み、
前記反時計回りに延在する枝状部が、前記時計回りに延在する枝状部の前記幅にほぼ等しい実質的に均一な幅を含み、
前記第1の中間枝状部が、前記時計回りに延在する枝状部の前記幅及び前記反時計回りに延在する枝状部の前記幅未満である、実質的に均一な幅を含む、請求項2に記載のステント。 - 前記波パターンが、正弦波の形状である、請求項1に記載のステント。
- 前記太いセグメントの前記幅が、0.046mmであり、前記細いセグメントの前記幅が、0.0318mmである、請求項1に記載のステント。
- 第1の端部、第2の端部、前記第1の端部から前記第2の端部まで前記長手方向に延在する長さ、及び複数の端部セルを更に含み、各々の端部セルが、
前記長手方向に延在する要素の端部セグメントと、
周方向に延在する相互接続部材の端部枝状部と、
前記端部セグメントを前記端部枝状部に接続する接合部材と、を含み、
前記端部セルが、前記第1の端部及び前記第2の端部に近接して位置決めされ、前記時計回り方向及び前記反時計回り方向に反復し、
前記単位セルが、前記ステントの前記長さの大部分にわたって長手方向に反復している、請求項1に記載のステント。
