Description
1.高周波ユニットには一般にドーム形のダイヤフラムが使用され、凹面側が後方波を放射する傾向がある。このタイプのダイヤフラムは、適切な先細りダクトに接続されると、広い帯域幅にわたって理想に近い球面波を生成するように作ることができる(例えば、US8094854B2参照)。
2.メタマテリアル吸収体の必要な入口面積は先細りダクトによって縮小され、これによりメタマテリアル吸収体のサイズが実質的にかなり縮小される。
3.先細りダクトは、直線状のダクトよりも占有スペースが少なく、他の部品がスペースを奪い合うラウドスピーカ設計にこれを容易に収容することができる。
Claims (14)
- ラウドスピーカであって、
i.前面及び背面を有する音響ダイヤフラムであって、使用中に振動して前記ラウドスピーカから離れる前方向にその前面から音波を放射しかつ後方向にその背面から音波を放射するように駆動される音響ダイヤフラムと、
ii.駆動装置と、
iii.前記ダイヤフラムから離れる後方向に前記駆動装置を貫通しかつその後端に開口部を有する少なくとも1つの開放ダクトと
を含み、
前記少なくとも1つの開放ダクトは前記後方向に延びる断面積を有し、前記断面積は前記後方向の少なくとも一部に沿って縮小し、前記ダイヤフラムの背面から放射された音波は、前記ダクトの概ね外側かつ後ろ及び縮小した前記断面積のすぐ後ろに位置する音響メタマテリアル吸収体の前面に接触する前に前記開放ダクトの実質的に全体を通過し、前記開放ダクト又は各開放ダクトの少なくとも一部は、前記音響メタマテリアル吸収体の前面に向かって円錐状に先細りする、ラウドスピーカ。 - 前記音響メタマテリアル吸収体の前面は、前記開放ダクト又は各開放ダクトの後端の前記開口部に位置する、請求項1に記載のラウドスピーカ。
- 前記開放ダクト又は各開放ダクトの後端の前記開口部の後ろにある前記メタマテリアルは、前後方向に垂直なサイズが前記開放ダクト又は各開放ダクトの後端の前記開口部のサイズよりも大きい、請求項1に記載のラウドスピーカ。
- 前記前後方向における前記メタマテリアルの長さは、前記メタマテリアルの前記前後方向に垂直なサイズよりも小さい、請求項1に記載のラウドスピーカ。
- 前記メタマテリアルは、音響エネルギーを散逸させるように適合された複数の狭いチャネルを含み、前記開放ダクト又は各開放ダクトの後端の前記開口部から垂直に離れる各チャネルの少なくとも一部が、前記前後方向に対して垂直に並べられている、請求項1に記載のラウドスピーカ。
- 前記開放ダクト又は各開放ダクトの断面積は、前記開放ダクト又は各開放ダクトの後端にある前記開口部に向かって後方向に直線的に先細り又は縮小する、請求項1に記載のラウドスピーカ。
- 前記駆動装置及び前記少なくとも1つの開放ダクトは、前記ダイヤフラムから離れて後方向に延び、前記音響メタマテリアル吸収体の前面は、概ね前記駆動装置の後ろに位置する、請求項1に記載のラウドスピーカ。
- 前記音響メタマテリアル吸収体の音響インピーダンスは、前記ダイヤフラムの背面から放射される音波の特性音響インピーダンスと、前記音波が前記音響メタマテリアル吸収体の表面に接触する点で実質的に一致する、請求項1に記載のラウドスピーカ。
- 前記開放ダクト又は各開放ダクトの少なくとも一部は、前記音響メタマテリアル吸収体の前面に向かって曲面状に内側に先細りする壁を有する、請求項1に記載のラウドスピーカ。
- 複数の開放ダクトを含み、各ダクトは別個の音響メタマテリアル吸収体に通じる、請求項1に記載のラウドスピーカ。
- 前記開放ダクト又は各開放ダクトは一定の断面形状を有する、請求項1に記載のラウドスピーカ。
- 前記少なくとも1つの開放ダクトは環状ダクトを含む、請求項1に記載のラウドスピーカ。
- 前記開放ダクト又は各開放ダクトは吸音材を含む、請求項1に記載のラウドスピーカ。
- ラウドスピーカを設計する方法であって、
前記ラウドスピーカは、
前面及び背面を有する音響ダイヤフラムであって、使用中に振動して前記ラウドスピーカから離れる前方向にその前面から音波を放射しかつ後方向にその背面から音波を放射するように駆動される音響ダイヤフラムと、
駆動装置と、
前記ダイヤフラムから離れる後方向に前記駆動装置を貫通しかつその後端に開口部を有する少なくとも1つの開放ダクトと
を含み、
前記少なくとも1つの開放ダクトは前記後方向に延びる断面積を有し、前記断面積は前記後方向の少なくとも一部に沿って円錐状に縮小し、前記ダイヤフラムの背面から放射された音波は、前記ダクトの概ね外側かつ後ろ及び縮小した前記断面積のすぐ後ろに位置する音響メタマテリアル吸収体の前面に接触する前に前記開放ダクトの実質的に全体を通過し、
前記音響メタマテリアル吸収体の音響インピーダンスが、前記ダイヤフラムの背面から放射される音波の特性音響インピーダンスと、前記音波が前記音響メタマテリアル吸収体の表面に接触する点で実質的に一致することを可能にするように、前記開放ダクト又は各開放ダクトの長さ、一方又は両方の端部面積、共振周波数及び共振強度のうちの1つ以上が調整される、方法。
