Description
照射工程S10は、レーザ照射装置10を用いて行われる。図2は、レーザ照射装置を示す構成図である。図2に示されるように、レーザ照射装置10は、レーザ発振器11と、反射ミラー12,13と、集光レンズ14と、加工ステージ15と、制御装置16と、を備える。レーザ発振器11は、パルスレーザビームLを発振する装置である。反射ミラー12,13は、レーザ発振器11で発振されたパルスレーザビームLを集光レンズ14まで伝送する。集光レンズ14は、パルスレーザビームLをワークWの加工位置に集光させる。加工ステージ15は、内部が水等の透明液体Tからなる媒体で満たされた水槽である。ワークWは、透明液体Tに浸漬された状態で加工ステージ15に配置されている。ワークWは、例えば、鉄鋼材料、又はアルミニウム合金等の非鉄金属材料からなる。ワークWは、例えば、真空浸炭材である。
衝突工程S20は、例えば、ブラスト加工装置によって行われる。図3は、ブラスト加工装置を示す構成図である。図3に示されるブラスト加工装置20は、直圧式(加圧式)のブラスト加工装置である。ここでは、直圧式について説明するが、ブラスト加工装置20は吸引式(重力式)であってもよい。ブラスト加工装置20は、貯留容器21、ヒータ22、及びノズル23を含む。貯留容器21は、内部にブラスト加工用の粒子30(図4参照)を貯留する空間を画成し、粒子30を貯留する。
Claims (8)
- 鉄鋼材料、又はアルミニウム合金等の非鉄金属材料からなるワークに対して透明液体を介してパルスレーザビームを照射する工程と、
前記照射する工程により前記ワークの表層部に発現した熱影響層に、弾性体からなるコアと、前記コアの表面に担持された砥粒と、を有する粒子を衝突させる工程と、を含み、
前記衝突させる工程では、前記ワークの表面に対して斜め方向から前記粒子を衝突させることにより、前記熱影響層のマイクロクラックを前記ワークの表面に沿う方向に成長させ、前記マイクロクラックを起点にして前記熱影響層を除去する、
表面処理方法。 - 前記衝突させる工程では、前記マイクロクラックに繰り返し前記粒子を衝突させることにより、前記マイクロクラックを他のクラックと連結させながら、前記熱影響層を徐々に除去する、
請求項1に記載の表面処理方法。 - 鉄鋼材料、又はアルミニウム合金等の非鉄金属材料からなるワークに対して透明液体を介してパルスレーザビームを照射する工程と、
前記照射する工程により前記ワークの表層部に発現した熱影響層に、弾性体からなるコアと、前記コアの表面に担持された砥粒と、を有する粒子を衝突させる工程と、を含み、
前記照射する工程では、前記ワークに含まれる介在物に起因したピンホールが前記熱影響層の表面に発生し、
前記衝突させる工程では、前記ワークの表面に対して斜め方向から前記粒子を衝突させることにより、前記粒子を前記ピンホールの内側に引っ掛け、前記ピンホールを起点にして前記熱影響層を除去する、
表面処理方法。 - 前記衝突させる工程では、前記ピンホールに繰り返し前記粒子を衝突させることにより、前記熱影響層を徐々に除去する、
請求項3に記載の表面処理方法。 - 前記衝突させる工程では、前記熱影響層を1μm以上10μm以下の厚さで除去する、 請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載の表面処理方法。
- 前記衝突させる工程では、前記ワークの表面粗さRaを1.5μm以下の範囲に調整する、
請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載の表面処理方法。 - 前記衝突させる工程では、前記ワークの表面粗さRaを1.0μm以下の範囲に調整する、
請求項1~5のいずれか一項に記載の表面処理方法。 - 前記弾性体からなるコアはホットメルト樹脂である、
請求項1~7のいずれか一項に記載の表面処理方法。
