Description

Claims (16)
- 眼球内レンズ(IOL)注入器であって、
(a)圧縮ガスを保持するための圧縮ガス貯蔵部と、
(b)前記圧縮ガス貯蔵部に露出され引っ込めた位置から伸ばされた位置へ縦方向に沿って移動可能な案内シャフト組立体と、
(c)前記案内シャフト組立体に動作可能に結合された機械式ブレーキであって、操作者作動に応答して、前記案内シャフト組立体の縦方向移動への可変抵抗を前記案内シャフト組立体に作用させるように構成され、デフォルトで前記案内シャフト組立体と係合して、前記圧縮ガス貯蔵部内の圧縮ガスに前記案内シャフト組立体が曝されるのに応答した前記案内シャフト組立体の移動を防ぐ機械式ブレーキと、
(d)前記案内シャフト組立体に結合されたリミッターであって、前記圧縮ガスへの前記案内シャフト組立体の曝露に応答して前記案内シャフト組立体の速度を制限するように構成されたリミッターと、
(e)前記引っ込めた位置から前記伸ばされた位置に向かう前記案内シャフト組立体の移動を許し、前記伸ばされた位置への前記案内シャフト組立体の移動を阻むように位置した第1止め具であって、前記案内シャフト組立体と接触することにより前記案内シャフト組立体の更なる移動を阻止する阻止位置と前記案内シャフト組立体の更なる移動を許す通過位置の間を移動可能である第1止め具と
を備えた、IOL注入器。 - 前記案内シャフト組立体は、前記圧縮ガス貯蔵部に露出されるように位置するピストンを含む、請求項1記載のIOL注入器。
- 前記案内シャフト組立体は、プランジャー先端を含む、請求項1記載のIOL注入器。
- 前記機械式ブレーキは、回転可能なブレーキドラムと前記ブレーキドラムに接続された歯車とを含む、請求項1記載のIOL注入器。
- 前記機械式ブレーキは、前記回転可能なブレーキドラムの周りに巻かれた弾力性を持つブレーキコイルを含む、請求項4記載のIOL注入器。
- 前記圧縮ガス貯蔵部は、一定量の前記圧縮ガスを保持する、請求項1記載のIOL注入器。
- 前記圧縮ガスの量は、前記引っ込めた位置から前記伸ばされた位置へ前記案内シャフト組立体を完全に平行移動するのに十分である、請求項1記載のIOL注入器。
- 前記機械式ブレーキは、操作者作動の停止後、前記案内シャフト組立体との前記デフォルトの係合に戻る、請求項1記載のIOL注入器。
- 前記案内シャフト組立体は、前記圧縮ガス貯蔵部内の前記圧縮ガスに応答して前記引っ込めた位置から前記伸ばされた位置へ縦方向に沿って移動する、請求項1記載のIOL注入器。
- 眼球内レンズ(IOL)注入器であって、
(a)患者の眼への注入のためにIOLを受け取り保持するように構成されたIOL支持体と、
(b)圧縮ガス貯蔵部と、
(c)前記圧縮ガス貯蔵部に露出され、前記IOLから隔たった引っ込めた位置から、患者の眼の中に挿入するために前記IOLに接触し前記IOL支持体から変位させる伸ばされた位置へ平行移動する案内シャフト組立体と、
(d)前記案内シャフト組立体が前記圧縮ガス貯蔵部内の圧縮ガスに曝された時、前記案内シャフト組立体の移動を防ぐ十分な機械的抵抗を前記案内シャフト組立体に印加するデフォルトの位置を有する機械式ブレーキと、
(e)前記機械式ブレーキに接続された可動な制御面であって、前記圧縮ガス貯蔵部内の前記圧縮ガスに曝されるのに応答した前記引っ込めた位置から前記伸ばされた位置への前記案内シャフト組立体の移動への可変機械的抵抗を印加するように前記機械式ブレーキを前記デフォルト位置から動かす可動な制御面と、
(f)前記引っ込めた位置から前記伸ばされた位置に向かう前記案内シャフト組立体の移動を許し、前記伸ばされた位置への前記案内シャフト組立体の移動を阻むように位置した第1止め具であって、前記案内シャフト組立体と接触することにより前記案内シャフト組立体の更なる移動を阻止する阻止位置と前記案内シャフト組立体の更なる移動を許す通過位置の間を移動可能である第1止め具と
を備えたIOL注入器。 - 前記機械式ブレーキは、操作者作動の停止に応答して前記デフォルト位置に戻る、請求項10記載のIOL注入器。
- 前記可動な制御面はコイルである、請求項10記載のIOL注入器。
- (a)案内シャフト組立体を注入器本体内に配置するステップであって、前記案内シャフト組立体は引っ込めた位置から伸ばされた位置へ縦方向に沿って移動可能に構成され、前記案内シャフト組立体は、圧縮ガスを保持するための圧縮ガス貯蔵部に露出されている、ステップと、
(b)操作者により作動される可変抵抗を前記案内シャフト組立体の縦方向移動に作用させる機械式ブレーキを係合させるステップであって、前記ブレーキはデフォルトで前記案内シャフト組立体と係合して、前記圧縮ガス貯蔵部内の圧縮ガスに前記案内シャフト組立体が曝されるのに応答した前記案内シャフト組立体の縦方向移動を防ぐ、ステップと、
