Description
図1は、本発明の印刷機(1)の1つの好ましい実施形態の模式図である。
平均粒径:粒径分布は、Helos/BR Multirange(Sympatec)装置を用い、製造業者の指示に従い、及びISO13320-1に従ってレーザー散乱粒度分析によって測定する。粒径分布の測定前に、粒子を、撹拌しながらイソプロパノールに溶解する。粒径関数を、相当球の体積加重累積度数分布として、フランホーファー近似で算出する。メジアン値d50は、測定した粒子の50%がこの値よりも低いことを意味する(体積平均分布において)。d50値を、平均粒径として用いる。

- 印刷されるべき基材が、インク層を有するインクキャリアと対向して配置され、前記インク層が、レーザービームによって局所的に照射される印刷方法であって、前記インク層は、反射性粒子、溶媒、及び前記溶媒に溶解された可溶性ポリマーを含んでおり、前記反射性粒子が、平均粒径/平均粒子厚さとして定義されるアスペクト比>25を有すること、及び前記反射性粒子が、金属又は金属被覆キャリア材料から成ることを特徴とする、印刷方法。
- 前記反射性粒子において、PT<80+3PSであり、式中、PTは、nmの単位での前記平均粒子厚さの絶対値であり、PSは、μmの単位での前記平均粒径の絶対値である、請求項1に記載の印刷方法。

- 用いられる反射性粒子が、L*a*b*色空間において50超のL *値を有する粒子であり、並びに前記L*a*b*色空間において+/-5未満のa*及び/又はb*値を有する粒子であることを特徴とする、請求項1~10の何れか一項に記載の印刷方法。
- 請求項1~11の何れか一項に記載の印刷方法における、反射性粒子及び可溶性ポリマーを含むインクの使用。
