Claims (16)
- 還元剤デリバリユニットであって、
流体入口と、流体出口と、前記流体入口と前記流体出口との間に流体連通を提供する流体流路とを有する流体インジェクタであって、該流体インジェクタは、さらに弁を有し、該弁は、前記流体インジェクタを通る流体の流れを制御しかつ弁体を有しており、該弁体は、前記流体出口が配置された遠位端部を有する、流体インジェクタと、
前記流体インジェクタが配置されているハウジングと、
前記ハウジングに接続され、車両排気管の取付けボスと係合するように構成された、クランプフランジと、
シールド部材であって、前記流体インジェクタ内の流体流れの方向に対して前記流体出口の下流に配置されておりかつ前記流体出口を少なくとも部分的にカバーしている第1の部分と、前記クランプフランジに隣接して配置され、該クランプフランジと接触し、当該還元剤デリバリユニットが前記車両排気管に取り付けられたときに前記クランプフランジと前記車両排気管の前記取付けボスとの間の係合部をシールする、第2の部分と、を有するシールド部材と、
を備え、
前記第1の部分および前記第2の部分のうちの少なくとも一方は、前記第1の部分および前記第2の部分のうちの少なくとも一方を貫通して画成された複数の切欠を有し、該切欠は、前記第1の部分および前記第2の部分のうちの少なくとも一方の周囲に均等に分布している、還元剤デリバリユニット。 - 前記シールド部材の前記第1の部分は、前記流体インジェクタの長手方向にほぼ延びる側壁と、該側壁の第1の軸方向端部に接続されかつ前記側壁の前記第1の軸方向端部から前記流体インジェクタの長手方向軸に向かって延びる端壁とを有し、該端壁は、前記流体出口から出た流体が前記シールド部材を通過することができるように寸法決めされた、半径方向で中央の開口を有する、請求項1記載の還元剤デリバリユニット。
- 前記第2の部分は、前記側壁の第2の軸方向端部から、前記側壁に対して所定の角度を成した方向へ延びており、前記第2の部分が前記クランプフランジと前記車両排気管の前記取付けボスとの間に配置され、当該還元剤デリバリユニットが前記車両排気管に取り付けられたとき、前記第2の部分はシールを形成する、請求項2記載の還元剤デリバリユニット。
- 前記第2の部分は、該第2の部分の表面から延びる突出部を有し、該突出部は圧縮可能である、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項記載の還元剤デリバリユニット。

その前記流体出口を少なくとも部分的にカバーするように前記クランプフランジに取り付けるための第1の部分であって、前記流体インジェクタ用の熱障壁、および前記RDUが前記車両排気管に取り付けられたときに該車両排気管内の粒子が前記流体インジェクタに接触することを防止するための機械的障壁として機能する、第1の部分と、
前記RDUが前記車両排気管に取り付けられたときに前記クランプフランジと前記車両排気管の前記取付けボスとの間の取付部をシールするために前記第1の部分から半径方向外方へ延びる第2の部分と、を備え、前記第1の部分および前記第2の部分は、単一の部材として一体的に形成されており、
前記第1の部分および前記第2の部分のうちの少なくとも一方は、前記第1の部分および前記第2の部分のうちの少なくとも一方を貫通して画成された複数の切欠を有し、該切欠は、前記第1の部分および前記第2の部分のうちの少なくとも一方の周囲に均等に分布している、還元剤デリバリユニット(RDU)のための熱シールド。 - シールド部材の前記第1の部分は、側壁と、該側壁に接続されかつ前記熱シールドが前記クランプフランジに取り付けられたときに前記側壁の第1の軸方向端部から前記流体インジェクタの長手方向軸に向かって延びる端壁とを有し、該端壁は、前記熱シールドが前記クランプフランジに取り付けられたときに前記流体出口から出た流体が前記シールド部材を通過することができるように寸法決めされた、半径方向で中央の開口を有する、請求項12記載の熱シールド。
- 前記第2の部分は、前記側壁の第2の軸方向端部から、前記側壁に対して所定の角度を成した方向へ延びており、前記第2の部分が前記クランプフランジと前記車両排気管の前記取付けボスとの間に配置され、前記還元剤デリバリユニットが前記車両排気管に取り付けられたとき、前記第2の部分はシールを形成する、請求項13記載の熱シールド。
- 前記第2の部分は、該第2の部分の表面から延びる突出部を有し、該突出部は圧縮可能である、請求項12から14までのいずれか1項記載の熱シールド。
- 前記端壁は、軸方向にフレアした半径方向端部を有する、請求項13記載の熱シールド。
