a control device that generates a registration screen including an information input section into which identification information of a new product and old identification information of an old product corresponding to the new product are input;
a display device that displays the registration screen;
a storage device that stores a product information database in which the identification information of the new product input on the registration screen and the old identification information of the old product are registered in a linked manner ;
The product information database is a product management system that includes the release date of the new product and the sale end date of the old product . The product management system according to claim 1 , wherein the control device invalidates the status of the old product in the product information database when the end-of-sale date of the old product has passed. The control device includes:
a search screen for searching information included in the product information database;
generating search results based on the search conditions entered in the search screen;

When the old identification information of the old product is input as the search condition, the product information corresponding to the old identification information of the old product and the identification information of the new product linked to the old identification information 4.
