Description

The invention disclosed in this application relates to a sealing method for sealing a gap between an opening penetrating an outer wall and a cylindrical body inserted into the opening, and a sealing member used in the sealing method.

When inserting a hollow cylindrical body, such as an air supply/exhaust duct, an air conditioner sleeve, or a protection tube for various wiring, into an opening that penetrates the outer wall of a building in the thickness direction, it is necessary to prevent the gap between the opening and the cylindrical body. Patent Document 1 discloses a technology related to a water-repellent sealing member and a sealing method for sealing the gap using the sealing member.

The sealing member described in Patent Document 1 is shown in FIG. 8, and FIG. 9 shows a state in progress of a sealing method using the sealing member. This sealing member 1 includes an elastic layer 2 having a toroidal shape when viewed from the front and having cushioning properties and watertightness, an adhesive layer 3 laminated on one side (back side) of the elastic layer 2 and having the same shape as the elastic layer 2, and an adhesive layer 3 laminated on one side (back side) of the elastic layer 2. A release sheet 4 is laminated on one side (back side) of the layer 3. The outer diameter of the elastic layer 2 and the adhesive layer 3 is larger than the circular opening 12 penetrating the wall 11, and the inner diameter of the through hole ("through hole" in Patent Document 1) 9 provided in the center is larger than the opening 12. It is formed to be smaller than the outer diameter of the cylindrical body ("duct" in Patent Document 1) 14 inserted into the pipe.

The release sheet 4 is divided in the radial direction by an inner/outer dividing notch (“first cut” in Patent Document 1) 15 which is circular in front view and shares the center with the through hole 9. An inner peeling part ("first peeling part" in Patent Document 1) 5 provided along the periphery and an outer peeling part ("second peeling part" in Patent Document 1) provided along the outer periphery of the elastic layer 2 and adhesive layer 3. 6). The diameter of the inner and outer dividing notches 15 is set to be the same as or slightly larger than the outer diameter of the cylindrical body 14.

In order to facilitate the release of the release sheet 4 from the adhesive layer 3, the inner peeling section 5 includes a substantially trapezoidal inner peeling tab ("first tensioning section" in Patent Document 1) 7 located inside the through hole 9. It is formed to protrude towards. Further, in the outer peeling portion 6, a substantially trapezoidal outer peeling tab (“second tensioning portion” in Patent Document 1) 8 is formed to protrude outward in the opposite direction to the inner peeling tab 7. has been done. The inner peeling part 5 and the outer peeling part 6 are divided in the circumferential direction by a linear second notch 16 passing radially through the center of the inner peeling tab 7 and the outer peeling tab 8. .

This sealing member 1 is made with the release sheet 4 facing the wall 11 side without peeling off the release sheet 4, and the tip (free end protruding from the wall 11) of the cylindrical body 14 inserted into the opening 12. ) from the outdoor side. When the tip of the cylindrical body 14 is press-fitted into the through hole 9 of the sealing member 1, the inner part of the elastic layer 2 is bent and expanded along the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical body 14, and the inner peeling portion 5 of the release sheet 4 is pushed open. It comes into close contact with the outer circumferential surface of the cylinder 14 through the cylindrical body 14. When the sealing member 1 is pushed up to the wall 11, the outer peripheral edge of the elastic layer 2 comes into contact with the wall 11 via the outer peeling portion 6 of the release sheet 4.

From this state, when the inner peeling tab 7 is pulled out to the outside along the outer peripheral surface of the cylinder 14, the adhesive layer 3 is removed so that the inner peeling part 5 of the release sheet 4 goes around the outer peripheral surface of the cylinder 14. The inner portion of the elastic layer 2 is attached to the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical body 14. Furthermore, when the outer peeling tab is pulled out in the radially outward direction of the sealing member 1 along the surface of the wall 11, the outer peeling portion 6 of the release sheet 4 is removed from the adhesive layer 3 so as to go around the outer periphery of the sealing member 1. Peeling off, the outer part of the elastic layer 2 is applied to the wall 11.

Through such a construction procedure, the inner part of the seal member 1 is brought into close contact with the outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical body 14 without a break, and the outside part of the seal member 1 is brought into close contact with the peripheral edge of the opening 12 without a break, so that the wall 11 and The gap with the cylindrical body 14 is watertightly sealed.

When the gap between the opening 12 of the wall 11 and the cylindrical body 14 is sealed using the sealing method disclosed in Patent Document 1, the tip of the cylindrical body 14 protrudes toward the outdoor side of the wall 11. If this wall 11 is an exterior wall, the work to install the cylinder 14 on the exterior wall is not completed in this state, but an exterior material (not shown) such as a siding board is attached further outside, and the exterior material The tip of the cylindrical body 14 is placed in the opening formed in the opening, and after sealing or other water-stopping treatment is applied to the surrounding area, a cap, pipe cover, etc. to prevent rainwater is attached to the exterior material, and the surface of the exterior wall is finished. It will be done. That is, the "wall 11" in the sealing method disclosed in Patent Document 1 is understood to mean not the outermost layer of exterior material constituting the outer wall, but structural plywood or the like as the outer wall base material.

When constructing a new building, an opening is formed in the outer wall base material (wall 11), the cylindrical body 14 is inserted, and the gap between the cylindrical body 14 and the opening 12 is sealed with the sealing member 1. It is possible to adopt a process of attaching an exterior material and applying waterproof treatment to the outermost layer. Therefore, as in the conventional sealing method, the seal member 1 is inserted into the cylinder body 14 from the outdoor side, the release sheet 4 of the seal member 1 is peeled off, and the seal adhesive layer 3 is applied to the cylinder body 14 and the outer wall base material (the wall 11 ) can be carried out without any inconvenience from outside without any exterior material.

However, in the case of building renovation, it becomes difficult to employ the conventional sealing member and sealing method. New openings are formed in the exterior material and exterior wall base material of the existing building, and with the cylinder inserted and fixed into these openings, the opening in the exterior wall base material and the cylinder are connected. This is because if an attempt is made to seal the gap with the conventional sealing member, the exterior material on the outdoor side of the exterior wall base material will get in the way. In particular, manual work when peeling off the outer peeling portion of the release sheet of the sealing member and attaching the sealing member to the exterior wall base material is greatly restricted. If the inside diameter of the opening formed in the exterior material is made sufficiently larger than the inside diameter of the opening formed in the exterior wall base material, it will be easier to perform the manual work described above, but it will also make it easier to do the manual work described above, but it will also make it easier to do the manual work described above. If this happens, the beauty of the exterior wall will be impaired, and it will also be a hassle to watertight the area around the opening. Therefore, during renovation, it is desirable to make the diameter of the opening formed in the exterior material as small as possible to reliably seal the gap between the opening and the cylindrical body.

The invention disclosed in the present application has been made in view of the above circumstances, and in particular, during renovation work in which a new opening is formed in an existing outer wall and a cylindrical body is attached, the size of the opening formed in the exterior material is adjusted. It is an object of the present invention to provide a sealing method suitable for sealing a gap between an opening formed in an outer wall base material and a cylindrical body in a state as small as possible, and a sealing member that can suitably carry out the sealing method. purpose.

(5) Forming an inner wall opening, which has approximately the same diameter as the outer wall base opening, into which the cylindrical body can be inserted, in an inner wall material built on the indoor side of the outer wall.
(6) Insert the cylindrical body from the indoor side into the inner wall opening, the outer wall base opening, and the exterior opening, and press fit the outdoor end of the cylindrical body into the through hole of the sealing member. The process of doing.
(7) Pulling the inner peeling tab of the release sheet from the inside of the through hole toward the outdoors, peeling off the inner peeling part, and pasting the inner part of the elastic layer on the outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical body. .
(8) Filling a gap between the inner peripheral edge of the exterior opening and the outdoor end of the cylinder with a sealant.

Further, the invention disclosed in the present application requires that the sealing member that seals the gap between the opening that penetrates the wall in the thickness direction and the cylindrical body that is inserted into the opening be made of a thin plate material that has cushioning properties and watertightness. an elastic layer formed with a through hole having a smaller diameter than the outer diameter of the cylindrical body; an adhesive layer laminated on the back surface of the elastic layer; and a release sheet laminated on the back surface of the adhesive layer. , the release sheet includes an inner peeling portion along the inner peripheral edge of the through hole formed by an inner/outer dividing notch that shares a center with the through hole and has a size larger than the outer diameter of the cylindrical body; and an outer peeling part in the outer diameter area, and the inner peeling part has an inner peeling tab extending toward the inside of the through hole for pulling when peeling off the inner peeling part. The basic idea is that the outer peeling part is also provided with an outer peeling tab for pulling when peeling the outer peeling part and extends toward the inside of the through hole. Adopt a specific structure.

Further, in the invention disclosed in the present application, the outer peeling part is divided in the circumferential direction by at least one outer peeling notch formed in the radial direction, and the outer peeling part is divided into two parts on both sides sandwiching the outer peeling notch. An additional configuration is employed in which each of the locations is provided with an outer peel-off tab.

The outer peel-off tab can be formed by extending a strip-shaped tensile reinforcing tape bonded to the back surface of the release sheet toward the inside of the through hole.

Further, the outer peeling part is provided with a temporary fixing peeling part divided by at least a pair of temporary fixing notches formed in the radial direction close to each other, and the temporary fixing peeling part is provided with a temporary fixing peeling part on the outside. It is also possible to adopt a configuration in which a peel-off tab for temporary fixation is provided that protrudes toward the camera.

The sealing method according to the invention disclosed in the present application is for inserting a cylindrical body into an exterior wall of an existing building in which exterior materials are built on the outdoor side of the exterior wall base material by forming new openings that pass through them. Before inserting the cylinder, push the sealing member from the outdoor side into the exterior opening formed in the exterior material, apply it to the exterior wall base material, and insert the outer peel-off tab provided on the outer peeling part of the release sheet inside the through hole. By adopting the process of pulling the adhesive layer toward the outdoors, peeling off the outer peeling part, and pasting the outer periphery of the adhesive layer around the opening in the exterior wall base, the seal is one size larger than the opening formed in the exterior material. The outer part of the component can be firmly attached to the exterior wall sheathing.

Furthermore, after pasting a sealing member around the opening formed in the outer wall base material, the cylinder is inserted into the opening from the indoor side, press-fitted into the through hole of the sealing member, and attached to the inner peeling part of the release sheet. By adopting the process of pulling the provided inner peel-off tab from the inside of the hole toward the outdoors, peeling off the inner peel-off part, and pasting the inner part of the elastic layer to the outer circumferential surface of the cylinder, the outer wall base material can be easily removed. The gap between the opening formed in the cylindrical body and the cylindrical body can be reliably sealed.

These make it possible to construct a cylinder that penetrates the exterior material and the outer wall base material while minimizing the diameter of the opening formed in the exterior material.

Further, by using the sealing member according to the invention disclosed in this application, the above-described sealing method can be carried out easily and with high precision.

In addition, regarding the parts and members that make up each layer of the sealing member, when the sealing member is installed on an exterior wall, the side that will face outdoors is the front side (front side), and the side that will be facing indoors is the back side (back side). The dimension in the indoor and outdoor direction is called the thickness.

(Seal member)
FIG. 1 shows the configuration of a sealing member according to an embodiment of the invention disclosed in this application. Note that the radial cross-sectional view in (b) shows the dimension in the thickness direction enlarged to about five times the dimension in the radial direction.

The sealing member 10 includes an elastic layer 2 made of a thin plate material having cushioning properties and watertightness and having an approximately annular shape when viewed from the front, and an adhesive layer 3 laminated on the back surface of the elastic layer 2 and having the same shape as the elastic layer 2. , and a release sheet 40 laminated on the back surface of the adhesive layer 3. The inner diameter of the through hole 9 provided at the center of each layer is set to be slightly smaller than the outer diameter of the cylindrical body 14 constructed on the outer wall. The material, composition, density, strength, lamination method, etc. of each layer are the same as those of each layer constituting the sealing member 1 described in Patent Document 1, so a detailed explanation thereof will be omitted. Moreover, the preferable thickness of each layer is also the same as the thickness of each layer described in Patent Document 1.

The release sheet 40 has an inner and outer separation notch 15 having a circular shape in front view that shares the center with the through hole 9, and has an inner peeling part 50 along the inner peripheral edge of the through hole 9 and an outer peeling part 60 in the radially outer area thereof. It is divided into. The diameter of the inner and outer dividing notches 15 is set to be the same as or slightly larger than the outer diameter of the cylindrical body 14.

The inner peeling portion 50 of the release sheet 40 is divided in the circumferential direction by an inner peeling notch 51 that radially traverses the upper portion thereof. On both sides of the inner peeling notch 51, one piece of inner peeling tab 52 is provided. The inner peel-off tab 52 is formed by pasting a reinforcing sheet 53 on the back surface of the release sheet 40 to increase tensile strength, and extends toward the inside of the through-hole 9 so that it has approximately the same diameter as the inside diameter of the through-hole 9. It extends like a tongue with a certain length.

The outer peeling portion 60 of the release sheet 40 is divided in the circumferential direction by an outer peeling notch 61 that radially traverses a lower portion thereof. One outer peeling tab 62 is provided at two locations on both the left and right sides of the outer peeling notch 61. The outer peeling tab 62 is formed by joining a strip-shaped tensile reinforcing tape 63 to the back surface of the release sheet 40. The left and right tensile reinforcing tapes 63 extend inside the through hole 9 so as to face each other, and overlap on the front side of the inner peeling tab 52.

Further, a pair of temporary fixing notches 64 are formed in the upper part of the outer peeling part 60 and are close to each other and traverse in the radial direction, and the temporary fixing peeling part 65 is divided by being sandwiched between these notches 64. . The temporary fixing peeling portion 65 is provided with a temporary fixing peeling tab 66 that extends radially outward in a generally trapezoidal shape when viewed from the front.

(Sealing method)
Next, a sealing method using the sealing member 10 described above will be explained with reference to FIGS. 2 to 7 showing the steps thereof. The exterior wall shown in each figure is made up of, in order from the outdoor side, an exterior material 21 made of siding etc., an exterior wall base material 11 made of structural plywood etc., a heat insulating material 31 made of glass wool etc., and an interior wall material 41 made of gypsum board etc. It is composed of A ventilation layer 17 with a thickness of about several mm to 20 mm is provided between the exterior material 21 and the outer wall base material 11. Further, a moisture-permeable waterproof sheet is laminated on the entire outdoor surface of the exterior wall base material 11, but it is not shown because it is thin.

Step S1: First, as shown in FIG. 2(a), an exterior opening 22 for attaching the cylinder 14 to the exterior material 21 is opened. This hole drilling work is performed from the outdoor side using a core drill or the like. The inner diameter of the exterior opening 22 is set to be slightly larger than the outer diameter of the cylindrical body 14 to be constructed, but slightly smaller than the outer diameter of the seal member 10 (excluding the temporary fixing peel-off tab 66). .

Step S2: Next, as shown in FIG. 2(b), an opening 12 in the outer wall base material 11 for attaching the cylinder 14 to the outer wall base material 11 is opened. This hole-drilling work is also performed from the outdoor side using a core drill or the like. The inner diameter of the outer wall base opening 12 is set to be larger than the outer diameter of the cylindrical body 14 by several mm. In addition, in order to prevent the moisture-permeable waterproof sheet laminated to the exterior wall base material 11 from tearing during this hole-drilling work, the moisture-permeable waterproof sheet at the hole-drilling position is cut in advance, and after the holes are punched, It is preferable to repair the cut area with waterproof tape or the like.

Step S3: As shown in FIG. 3(a), the sealing member 10 is pushed into the exterior opening 22 from the outdoor side and applied to the exterior wall base material 11. At this time, only the temporary fixing peeling part 65 of the sealing member 10 is peeled off in advance, and the peeled part is temporarily fixed above the outer wall base opening 12.

Step S4: As shown in FIG. 3(b), hold down the portion temporarily fixed to the outer wall base material 11 and pull the left and right outer peeling tabs 62 toward the outdoors, and pass the outer peeling portion 60 of the release sheet 40 through the hole. While peeling off the elastic layer 9 to the inside, the outer part of the elastic layer 2 is pasted and crimped around the outer wall base opening 12. In the invention disclosed in this application, this is the most characteristic step. When crimping the outer part of the elastic layer 2 around the exterior wall base opening 12, if the gap between the exterior material 21 and the exterior wall base material 11 is too narrow to fit your fingertips, insert an appropriate presser into the gap. and press down on the elastic layer 2.

Step S5: As shown in FIG. 4(a), an inner wall opening 42 for inserting the cylinder 14 into the inner wall material 41 is opened. This hole drilling work is performed from the indoor side using a circular saw (board saw) or the like. Like the outer wall base opening 12, the inner diameter of the inner wall opening 42 is set to be larger than the outer diameter of the cylindrical body 14 by several millimeters. When the inner wall opening 42 is opened, the heat insulating material 31 is arranged so as not to interfere with the insertion of the cylinder 14. Note that this step S5 can be performed before or in parallel with the aforementioned steps S1 to S4, which are performed from the outdoor side.

Step S6: As shown in FIG. 4(b), the cylindrical body 14 is inserted into the inner wall opening 42, the outer wall base opening 12, and the exterior opening 22 from the indoor side. The length of the cylindrical body 14 is approximately the same as the wall thickness of the entire outer wall, and the cylindrical body 14 is pushed into the vicinity of a position where the outdoor end of the cylindrical body 14 is aligned with the outdoor side edge of the exterior opening 22. At this time, by press-fitting the outdoor end of the cylindrical body 14 into the through hole 9 of the sealing member 10, the outer periphery of the cylindrical body 14 is made such that the peripheral edge of the through hole 9 of the sealing member 10 is rolled up toward the outside. Closely adheres to the surface.

Step S7: As shown in FIG. 5(a), while pressing the outer circumferential portion of the sealing member 10 attached to the outer wall base material 11, pull the left and right inner peeling tabs 52 toward the outdoors to peel off the inner side of the release sheet 40. The part 50 is peeled off to the inside of the through hole 9, and the inner part of the elastic layer 2 is attached to the outer peripheral surface of the cylinder 14.

Step S8: As shown in FIG. 6(a), the ring-shaped backup material 71 is pushed into the gap between the inner peripheral edge of the exterior opening 22 and the outdoor end of the cylindrical body 14, and the sealing member 10 is inserted. Overlay on. If the distance between the exterior material 21 and the outer wall base material 11 is smaller than the thickness of the backup material 71, this step S8 may be omitted.

Step S9: As shown in FIG. 6(b), a sealing material 72 is filled in the gap between the inner peripheral edge of the exterior opening 22 and the outdoor end of the cylindrical body 14. Thereby, water is cut off around the exterior opening 22.

Step S10: As shown in FIG. 7, a wall cover 73, a pipe decorative cover 74, etc. for preventing rainwater are attached to the exterior opening 22, and a duct cap 75, etc. is attached to the inner wall opening 42. This completes the renovation work of creating a new opening in the outer wall and installing the cylindrical body 14.

As described above, according to the sealing method according to the invention disclosed in this application, the outer peeling tab 62 for peeling off the outer peeling part 60 of the release sheet 40 extends toward the inside of the through hole 9 of the sealing member 10. Since the sealing member 10 has a larger diameter than the exterior opening 22 formed in the exterior material 21, it can be inserted into the exterior wall base on the back side of the exterior material 21 by working from the outdoor side of the exterior material 21. It can be firmly attached to the surface of the material 11. In addition, the procedure of attaching the sealing member 10 to the exterior wall base material 11 and then inserting the cylindrical body 14 from the indoor side and press-fitting it into the through hole 9 of the sealing member 10 is adopted. The sealing member 10 and the cylindrical body 14 can be brought into close contact with each other on the back side of the material 21.

In this way, renovation work in which a new opening is formed in the exterior wall of an existing building in which the exterior wall material 21 is built on the outdoor side of the exterior wall base material 11 and the cylindrical body 14 is inserted can be carried out safely, efficiently, and accurately. It can be implemented. Further, since the inner diameter of the exterior opening 22 formed in the exterior material 21 does not need to be made larger than necessary, it is possible to avoid spoiling the aesthetic appearance of the outer wall.
