Description
本出願は、2018年12月27日に出願された「Cannula Seal Mechanism」という名称の米国仮特許出願第62/785,331号明細書、および2018年12月28日に出願された「Soft-Thread Cannula」という名称の米国仮特許出願第62/786,085号明細書の優先権および利益を主張するもので、その全体が参照により本明細書に組み込まれる。
本発明は、外科手術用の装置および組立品に関し、より具体的には、互換性のある可撓性のカニューレを有するカニューレシール組立品に関する。
カニューレは、外科手術部位へのポータルに対するアクセスを提供することによって、関節鏡または内視鏡処置を支援するために使用される。流体管理の問題により、カニューレは近位端にシールを備えることが多い。シールは、カニューレを流れる流体を制限するが、同時に流体圧力の発生にも関与し得る。器具または装置をカニューレに通すことによってシールを妨げることにより、自然発生的および制御不能な噴出流体の漏出をもたらし得る。
Claims (4)
- 長軸方向軸に沿って延在し、近位端および遠位端を有する細長いカニューレ本体と、
前記カニューレ本体の少なくとも一部分に沿って、前記遠位端から前記近位端に向けて延在するねじ山と、
を備え、
前記カニューレ本体が、第一の厚さを有する材料から構成され、
前記ねじ山が、第一の厚さよりも小さい第二の厚さを有する材料から構成され、
前記第二の厚さを有する材料は、前記第一の厚さを有する材料よりも撓みやすく、
前記ねじ山の基部は、近位側と、遠位側と、支持構造とを含み、
前記支持構造は、前記遠位側に隣接し、かつ前記カニューレ本体から延在しており、
前記支持構造は、前記ねじ山に対して前記遠位端から前記近位端に向けた力が加えられたときに、前記ねじ山の変形を許容し、前記ねじ山に対して前記近位端から前記遠位端に向けた力が加えられたときに、前記遠位端から前記近位端に向けた力が加えられたときよりも前記ねじ山の変形がしにくいように構成されている、
カニューレ。 - 前記ねじ山は、前記基部の前記遠位側上に第一の半径を有し、前記基部の前記近位側上に第二の半径を有し、前記第二の半径が前記第一の半径よりも小さい、請求項1に記載のカニューレ。
- 前記長軸方向軸を面上に含む断面において、前記支持構造が三角形の断面を有する、請求項2に記載のカニューレ。
- 前記支持構造は、前記長軸方向軸に対して角度付きであり、前記支持構造に隣接する前記ねじ山の前記遠位側に向かって、前記長軸方向軸に直交する方向の長さが長くなる、請求項2又は請求項3に記載のカニューレ。
